Glad to hear someone mention chris fagan and how he's built and held the club up. He's the reason they've retained so many vic players, Kai Lohmann is a perfect example of that. He was a fringe player with injuries last year, got offered a 5 year deel to go back home to the dons. Signed at the lions instead because of the culture and coaching. Likewise with clug and berry. He got Neale up there, Dunkley up there, Daniher... ect. Bro has built an insane list, retained vic players and set up a brilliant future. Grown the membership by a crazy amount. Footy as a whole is better because of it. Also noah answerth legacy game he's a gun

As often as it's said, this game is going to be won by the team that's allowed to play that outside game the best. If the swans can spread the ball like they did last week against port, it's game over. If the lions are allowed to transition that ball through the corridor from their back 50 as easily as they did against the cats, they win the gf. As a swans supporter, there are intriguing match ups all over the ground. I can't wait, carn you bloods 🔴⚪️
Houston's loss for Port was a management failure. They focused heavily on Izak Rankine.& Houston did something very unusual & ousted himself from the finals. Houston's mistake was the management failure.
Who was the expert that said Carllton was just making up the numbers in the 8. He got 1 out of 2 in the maths test. The other correct answer was you guessed it Port Adelaide. Port was the easy answer actually because it's been more than a few years making up the numbers. Hopefully next year the answer will be 2 out of 2. surprised Hipwood doesn't get a mention, for doing bugger all. I mean i wasn't at the game, was he doing any good work off the ball? seems to me he's just dead weight and never gets dropped. I reckon I've seen him play two good games. did bugger in last years granny too🤷♂
He is a worry. He was very quiet in the Grand Final last year and doesn’t seem to stand up physically in big games, which is what you need from your big forwards. Hopefully it won’t all be left to Daniher like it was last year against the Pies. The performances of your bottom six and the key match ups usually determined the outcome of the Grand Final and Hipwood is right in that category.
@@jsequine927 yep agree. I mean if he was half decent you could also throw him in the ruck he's bloody taller than daniher. but he'd get malled. I'll be real surprised if sydney's backs don't keep him real quiet . I used to think the same of daniher. But he's gone way past hip woods level, he's proven himself in the big games now. He's quite a player

First it's 2 wins out of 3 games at the MCG this season for both teams. The MCG is more suited to the Swans open style of play than the SCG as they can get even further clear of their opponents in open space. Look at how the players were roaming around free and unchecked on the SCG, they will have a ball (pun intended) at the G. 🦢🏆
Bucks is one of the best voices in footy. Calm, collected and reasonable.
More importantly in my opinion is his humility.
He fits the adage of great players don't always make the best coaches, but he certainly works the media very well.
And next port coach

Buckley is one of only a few people in AFL media who can give coaches a whack. Leigh Mathews is one of them. David King is NOT one of them.
Divid king didn’t whack Fagan…. He’s an analyst. What he said about Fagan was pretty light on compared to other journos…😅
Well, one of them was “heart stopping”, the other one just went as expected.

I'm the same but on the Brissy side. It won't hurt too bad to see the swans lift the cup if they win.

He spoke for about 5% of the 28 minutes, it was almost entirely Bucks, which is fine cause he has great insights.
