There still needs at least 3 hours of AFL talk on SEN every day during the off-season. Just talk about footy, we love it. Other sports are just bat shizen boring, let's be honest.
Zero accountability from this guy; incredible that he is distancing himself from the health and fitness of the players. I remember him having full run of the joint telling Eddie Betts (a confidence player) he isn’t good enough in an exit meeting! To claim he didn’t have a leadership influence is garbage, he had it and lost it when he didn’t do his job. Soft tissue injuries are preventable and it is his job to prevent them. “We had a lot of guys play a lot of footy” - delusional. Carlton consistently has the worst injury records, not only this year but the last 6 years of his tenure. Decides to go on expensive leadership course instead of a sports science course. This was a guy that was on the cutting edge 20 years ago and simply has not kept up. Good riddance!
My thoughts exactly, had massive issues in the area that he was hired to control, but suddenly he wasn't given enough control over it. Talk about passing the buck.
Interesting take mate. Clearly there were issues at the blues with their injuries. He was definitely the escape goat for their problems this year. How much much was his fault and how they will change their program and how successful they will be on the field whilst reducing injuries will be a big watch this season.
Vossy used Andrew Russell as one of the main reasons that Sam Walsh came back firing after his back surgery. He got great accolades for that. I agree....Extraordinary that he had no say over rehab. There must have been a disagreement with someone, surely, that wasn't fixable, so did what he was told and we move on. Unbelievable.
Russell completely dodging any accountability and glossing over his ineptitude with pseudo scientific buzz words is nothing surprising. He’s the Aussie Huberman without the following.
@@jj6392 Lol you're twisting the narrative. Carlton lost 2 in a row in Round 17 (the beautiful Giants comeback at Etihad) and Round 18 (carved up by the Dogs) when there wasn't a peep about injuries (and in fact were talking about top 4) and narrowly came back in the dying stages against NORTH to still cling onto 2nd by Round 19. If they had lost that game they would've dropped sooner and way harder than they did. Blues fans were dumbfounded at what was occurring. Then some players had injuries at the later stages of the season and they started using that as copium for their predicament when really them being exposed on form began way sooner. Then when they welcomed them back in the lead up to the final due to the grace of the bye, they got the delicious 60 - 0. Not surprising, this was the same club that was skinned alive by Sydney earlier in the year. Need to settle down a bit instead of making excuses and shifting goal posts. The unjustified arrogance is astonishing.
I never thought i would miss AFL content this much. Thank you SEN
100%
Serious withdrawals starting to set in 😂
lmao get a grip, wow players are doing pre-season
@@harrykatsaros only 12 weeks to Round 1
Crickets not cutting it and the NBA is probably the most rigged sport in the world, I really miss footy
North will surprise. I can see them being in the 8 for a decent chunk of the year but just missing out
Mooney unit
Is Mooney wearing boxer shorts?

Good luck, Andrew Russell

2025 the start of the rise for the Roo's
Are you going to take advice from a guy that is so out of touch that he thinks people have 5 weeks off over Christmas
Sorry, when did he say that?
Carlton were shit before and after the injuries.
We're they? They were a game clear in 2nd at round 19.
@@jj6392 This guys a little delusional, best to downvote and ignore kids like this.
Wow big words for a little boy.

@TopFix So you just proved my point before going on that low IQ tangent. Carlton were 2nd at rd 19. Thanks champ.
