- The Karak Azgaraz DLC comes to Warhammer Vermintide 2, as we take Outcast Engineer, his Steam Crank Gatling Gun, and the Trollhammer Torpedo out for a spin and blow up some Skaven.

You can't run through those trees because as a true blooded dwarf you won't allow yourself to be touched by elven things like trees and its flimsy wood. /s
its only fit for fuel and simple furniture dawri! only wazzoks build their umgak redoubts out of such material!

I believe the story is you rescue Bardin's daughter in the first map after finding her already trying to liberate Karak Azgaraz, then she's brought back to the keep through the bridge of shadows and is communicating to the party through Lohner's crystal orb thing.
His... his daughter is really there, you're just being weird about it.
I don't know the story of this level, but if I remember correctly, Dwarfs live a very long time. Gotrek is roughly 160 years old, so Bardin's daughter might as well be 800 for all we know.
Dwarfs don't typically live THAT long, they usually peace out after around 300+ years. At least that was the case in the book 'the Sundering', could be different depending on the author
@@silverhost9782 It depends, but yeah definitely not typical. Dwarfs can theoretically live indefinitely if they have unfinished business that is so important they basically refuse to give out and keep trucking. I mean hell, Snorri was so angry at the Dark Elves' betrayal he re-alived himself as Grombrindal.

the new vermintide maps have absolutely knocked it out of the park for me. despite what fatshark is going through and the droughts we experience i'm glad the quality is still there when we get it

True story : I could not find the exit, so I quickly found your video and watched the ending to help me go in the right direction, while my AI buddies protected my idle Dwarf.

Engineer is probably 3/10 for usefulness for a team, being so squishy.. or the most squishy. But is 9/10 for fun, just a cool idea and very fun special. Just a full blown minigun as a power is amazing. I really love my dwarf ranger, but fun to bust out Engineer once and a while

It seems trollhammer is extremely valuable in the karak azgaraz maps, especially for the shield stormvermins at the end
19:50 Arnold never had the minigun in Predator, where "If it bleeds we can kill it" or "Get to da choppa" comes from, he did have a minigun in Terminator 2 though.

Might be a big ask, but could you do a Vermintide full story explained video? I noticed that there isn’t really a cohesive plot line put together besides smash and kill rat people, and one just kind of has to put together the pieces from what they are given in the games but I’ve been looking for a video to kind of go over and explain everything about it because it’s a great game series and I love the characters but there isn’t any videos like that at all unfortunately.
Have you only played runs as Bardin? The same lines from Hedda come through for Kruber and Kerillian. To my knowledge, there isn't an ancestor god/goddess involved.

@@milkandcookiesTW I see. The woman talking constantly is Hedda Bardinsdottir, Bardin's daughter. She is the one who called for the Ubersreik Five to begin with. Lohner, who worked with her in the past and actually had some correspondence with her that not even Bardin knew about, heard the call and sent the Five to help locate a lost dwarf war party (that Hedda was a part of) and help reclaim the hold for the Karaz Ankor.
thanks for the breakdown much appreciated! Kruber had a weird voiceline in Khazid Kro that implied Bardin was imagining things, so I got confused

After playing so much Darktide and getting used to running and dash + slide, I have become unable to play Vermintide 2.
Better than darktide man.
You'd think some folks could just like not say certain words cause its offensive but like yeah I guess getting demonitized is a good enough reason too lol lmao

nope. if anything can be said about Fatshark, its that they support their games for a very long time. it just also takes them forever to do anything. Darktide will continue to get better, but it will be an obnoxiously slow process. For now, they are likely focused on the console port, and will then take summer vacation. so I'm not expecting anything exciting for Darktide for at least a couple months

@@ashesofaranea Yep, i wasn't around for verm's launch fortunately, or unfortunately? depends on perspective i guess, Darktide is the reason I got into verm tbh, and i fell in love with vermintide and it got me to get into fantasy lore, cuz im a 40k nerd first and foremost. Seems like Darktide is going through the same cycle verm did, it's gonna have a redemption arc eventually
