One thing I'll always give to Tom and Owen is that their on-screen chemistry is great. Even when the show is literally cinematic gibberish, they're doing a great job convincing me Loki made friends with this time auditor. I would like Loki much better if it were more like these two, hanging out, undergoing perfectly mundane office hijinks at this point, as all attempts to do "action" and "drama" have resulted in garbage. Give me Mobius and Loki doing time sheets, and Loki sitting there, bored, trying to kill time, then Mobius is like "I'm gonna go on break." and Loki is like "Oh I'll go with you!" and Mobius is like "No, you won't, you need to work 6hrs before you can take a break, you have done the exact OPPOSITE of work, you've made MORE work for us to do. You gotta sit here and finish these time sheets. I'll be back in 15 minutes, don't worry." and then Loki has to try and fill out boring paper work, whilst something INCREDIBLY exciting is going on in the background. Like, we hear updates over the loudspeaker about something super cool and super Loki-esque where Loki would be really cool and Loki, because he's friends with Mobius, has to fight the urge to shirk his duties at work just to go have fun. Maybe it's taco tuesday and that means something TOOOOTALLY wicked in the TBA. Then at the end, Mobius comes back, and he *brought Loki tacos* and it's like "aww! he knew loki wanted to have lunch with him, and it was taco tuesday and, he knew loki missed the big adventure that loki loves to go on, but, he did bring him tacos, which is more exciting than not having tacos. With that said, the show and timeslipping's mechanics are actually much worse under the correct interpretation, especially in the later episodes of this season. Loki season 1 and 2 are at a tie for worst written story I've ever seen, and easily the worst of the MCU. They're so bad that people genuinely don't understand just how much is wrong with them.
Thank god. I thought I was gonna be able to experience a whole day without shitwater cringe. But then boom, Mauler and friends swoop in to ruin my day in the final hour.
I genuinely cannot understand how people can still be invested in this universe. I can sometimes get invested in a story with weak characters if the world itself is really interesting but I just cannot find anything to be interested in when it comes to the MCU at this point. And why is THIS the series normies still try defending when they actually seem to admit that the MCU is “MiD” now? It confuses the shit out of me
30:39 You know... it's a good thing Loki stopped slipping back 100 years into the past like he has been doing all episode... otherwise Short Round could have all the time in the world to find a solution to the current problem in the present...
It was all over and done in Woki S1 E1 with Infinity Stones in the drawer. "Hey, member that epic canon we set up over a decade? Lol, it means nothing. It's just a joke to us. And if you don't join in with laughing at what you loved yesterday, you're just a toxic hater, you toxic hater."
What I found funny about this show is the amount of people, who will admit most of phase four and now phase 5 is crap, but for some reasons say that this season is carrying the MCU. Yet every time I ask how it's better they either just say "shut up it's good" or "Loki's journey was so meaningful" without substantiating it whatsoever.
@@DennisDemonTime simple, it's just as bad writing wise however the production value, acting, and some of the dialog is above Antman 3 and The marvels so the normies just ate it up.
@@Terriblyexplainingcomics believe what you want, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't have a habit of scrolling through Tiktok or UA-cam shorts. During which there were tons of "cool" edits of loki fixing the timeline, making ygdrasil, and taking a "throne" while "burdened with glorious purpose" And meme videos of Loki walking up the stairs pulling the threads with phase five, mcu, the marvels, antman 3, etc written on them with a caption that says "Loki carrying phase 5" And you'll see over a hundred comments agreeing with the sentiment and any time you question any of them they'll say some along the lines of my examples.
19:23 The reason why they should notice is that they are monitoring the entire time line amd moving back and forth in time at will. All they need to do is allow branching and go ahead a million years and see if there is a problem. If so, go back in time and fix that one problem.
I think we need a marvel show where three characters, for example Loki Mobius, and Ouroboros, just talking they never leave the room and the hinges on the dialogue and the actors to pull it off. If Pre Endgame Nick Fury, Tony Stark, and Sam Wilson in a room was the show, I guarantee people would watch it.
34:50 I think they missed here that he is intentionally not counting in seconds, at least, from the acting that's what it appears as though is intended. OB *_knows_* he should be closing the gate, but he's intentionally stretching the time as a sort of "come on, be saved by the bell" self-justification. He knows what he should be doing, and he knows he has to, but he's intentionally delaying it because he wants them to get back in time.
Why is it even possible that Loki can disappear for the exact amount of time in the future/present as the amount of time that he is in the past since the past has already happened? Shouldn’t he just spawn back immediately after disappearing since the past isn’t running concurrently with the present/future?
While the TVA makes absolutely no sense, the amazing sets and vfx that go into realizing it make it so cool, and it’s honestly the only way they’re able to get the audience to suspend their disbelief; by making the place feel so lived in and fleshed out
The way they explain how the solve him time slipping does make sense. Time Slipping is giving loki TRUE time travel. (canon) Normally when you travel you go from one UNIVERSE to a DIFFERENT, Loki is Closed Loop time slipping. he's disappearing from one area, into the past of the same reality, and is able to make changes. So what Was, is and will always be. Now them solving it is easy, they Prune loki, he gets sent the end of time. But before he can get there the extractor GRABS him out of the timeline and places him in the TVA "Present" . My only question is "Why have this be a problem to begin with" they must have had a different story set up.
My friend thought loki was great. I said isnt it weird how hes so.. nice? She said duh hes maturedd. Nonono, this is 2012 loki, evil, now he watched a montage of things that to him never happened and that’s a very crappy way of having “catch up”. Like imagine if i showed you a video of you figure skating and becoming evil. You wouldn’t just.. change, youd say wtf was that?? Then i got the, ohhhh…ok maybe it’s not good. Well at least you’re willing to understand
3:03 if the recap of Loki’s life was stretched out to one maybe two episodes to let the realisation set in so that looking change be mostly exceptional.
Also the TVA is on a circle Timeline I assume time does move forwards but at some point everything resets and they are reliving the same amount of time on the second loop. I can see why Loki is "skipping" The OLD PAST and the NEW FUTURE are at the same point in time. when he goes back he's living the First set of events, when he's in the present he's writing a new future.
what upsets me most about this show is, they could have taken out the silly Victor Timely stuff in the past with the loney toons chases and explained how the flow of time works in the TVA.. it would have GROUNDED the story.
21:00 Because the Prune stick just removes whatever it touches to the end of time. So they just built that wall right in front of the statue. They seem to be on a loop of kang being public to kang hiding behind the time keepers. Loki has to find out the truth for the story to move forward. This is all "Kangs plan" or so he claims. he must end up at the end of time talking to Kang, where Loki makes a deal with him.
The device kind of makes sense. if we're at a point in time on the physical "timeline" and I prune something It goes to the last point in "Time" But the device snatches that object and is hurling forward to the last point in "Time". Loki had until the light turns green UNTIL the next object/person is pruned. the device is set to grab whatever is moving next.
I didn't watch season 1. Can't remember the coverage. Still, I know that there is no continuity that will help me to understand any of this ridiculous nonsense. Let's go... *sigh*
Honestly , looking foward for the last episodes Wumbo talk abou it in open bar , but i cant recall what he said And i wana see its raw emotion on the subject
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the TVA (seemingly easy to do), but that whole vast futuristic city shown outside the window is all TVA, right? Or is the TVA just a tiny office buildin g in a future city? Maybe it's a whole ass future civilization that sits outside of spacetime. My impression is that the vast futuristic city is all the TVA. But, aside from showing that CGI background cityscape, the TVA - an organization that patrols all of time and space - feels really, really small. It doesn't feel like "yeah, this is just the Juno, Alaska office." It feels like what we see is the TVA and that it's extremely vastly tiny for what one might think it should be.
26:00 Paradox or closed loop, doesn´t matter its basicly the key to EVRY information you ever want, with this enabled, like in Harry Potter, you have instant all you wanna know ever.
Loki is already several thousand years old... whats the issue with him solving the problems in the past, locking himself there and just living life for a few hundred years until he catches up to the "present" with all the problems solved or plans to solve them...
Midnight's Edge did a report on Hulk situation. The rights to Hulk character have belonged to Universal or some other company till 2024 (not sure about the date) and he was kinda borrowed to Disney Marvel. So no standalone movies for Hulk till then.

It's so funny to me the only ones doing actual content nowadays for marvel's most watched show is the efap crew.
It's ok as long as you remember Dobblin.
I'm pretty sure if you use unironically "woki" you are a toxic hater.
I'm not looking forward to having to rewatch this. Even with the guys' commentary...
Starting with a portal 2 reference 🤌
I have been waiting for this coverage since Loki s2 dropped!! So excited
"We met the man at the end of time, and he made sense."
Never in the tides of history has a more untrue sentence ever been spoken.
Nice editing fringy
What an unexpected Birthday surprise 🎂, getting to watch an abysmal train-wreck of a show with EFAP commentary🍿. #Outstanding
It’s very interesting seeing how the gang sees endgame now vs when it first came out
What I found funny about this show is the amount of people, who will admit most of phase four and now phase 5 is crap, but for some reasons say that this season is carrying the MCU. Yet every time I ask how it's better they either just say "shut up it's good" or "Loki's journey was so meaningful" without substantiating it whatsoever.
And what’s your opinion?
I’ll take “something that never happened” for two
@@DennisDemonTime simple, it's just as bad writing wise however the production value, acting, and some of the dialog is above Antman 3 and The marvels so the normies just ate it up.
@@Terriblyexplainingcomics believe what you want, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't have a habit of scrolling through Tiktok or UA-cam shorts. During which there were tons of "cool" edits of loki fixing the timeline, making ygdrasil, and taking a "throne" while "burdened with glorious purpose"
And meme videos of Loki walking up the stairs pulling the threads with phase five, mcu, the marvels, antman 3, etc written on them with a caption that says "Loki carrying phase 5"
And you'll see over a hundred comments agreeing with the sentiment and any time you question any of them they'll say some along the lines of my examples.

So MauLer singing Ellen McLain Special when? 🎵
Turret Opera would be appreciated btw 😂
Am I wrong to conclude, that these videos take most time to produce not because of editing, but because of the YT censorship and strikes?
I really liked left-avatar guest in the Secret Invasion full breakdown. Glad to see him back!
I can see how a viewer who doesn't try to follow the plot intellectually would really enjoy this.
Its really nit that complicated 😅
@@kristienwhitney-johns5863its not complicated at all its just the writing is awful
@@XgoodbyeX I may have to rematch tbf. I thought it was good
Rags and mauler completely defeated "you can't remember the future" sums it up I think😂
19:23
The reason why they should notice is that they are monitoring the entire time line amd moving back and forth in time at will. All they need to do is allow branching and go ahead a million years and see if there is a problem. If so, go back in time and fix that one problem.
"This is truly Peak and Fire" - Maulerino
Ever occurred to anyone that chickens don't fly, they simply fall with style. Nothing to do with the video just something I noticed.
39:31 Should have been a world with a Burger Kang franchise run by one of the variants...
I would love to see you guys' reaction to the final episode of this show.
"Why do people keep reacting like that? If that happened in front of me I'd be like" H O L Y S H I T!!! "😂
I absolutely love short-round.
Edit: The actor. My comment is not in any way associated with the quality of the show hahaha.
I adored getting to see you guys watch this with hope in your hearts. Knowing how it's all doomed to turn out :P
The way they fixed Loki's time-hopping issue is by turning off his time and turning it back on
I like the fact that the universe let's loki give out exposition precisely between teleports. they couldve done so much with that as a mechanic
3:03 if the recap of Loki’s life was stretched out to one maybe two episodes to let the realisation set in so that looking change be mostly exceptional.
I'm sad we didn't get a season one EFAP TV reaction :(
At last, I get to find out what happened in Loki s2
Waiting for the next episode of EFAPtv is the only thing that brings me joy in life
Loki: "Something terrible is happening."
Yes, season two!!!
Brooks is low-key hilarious
There's something mildly interesting about how two characters that live in a timeless infinity are named after things that loop back into themselves.
I'd really want to see these guys do an efap of the -Hawkeye- kate bishop show...
For anyone wondering, they actually start watching the show at 10:28
Finally. Was waiting to see you guys rip on this show.
The device kind of makes sense. if we're at a point in time on the physical "timeline" and I prune something It goes to the last point in "Time"
But the device snatches that object and is hurling forward to the last point in "Time". Loki had until the light turns green UNTIL the next object/person is pruned.
the device is set to grab whatever is moving next.
So this like the plot to the End of Eternity mixed with Bioshock Infinite, except Asimov was really really smart
rags is clearly on his way out gonna have to take him behind the barn one of these days
Im low key (get it?) excited for this
I didn't watch season 1. Can't remember the coverage. Still, I know that there is no continuity that will help me to understand any of this ridiculous nonsense. Let's go... *sigh*
Jedi Brooks needs to be on more shows.
Something tells me Loki would send a lot more than 1000 ships for Silvi
I suppose this replaces the therapy stream from the first season where they talk about everyone melting? I approve
Honestly , looking foward for the last episodes
Wumbo talk abou it in open bar , but i cant recall what he said
And i wana see its raw emotion on the subject
34:11 Loki’s trying to find all 7 dragon balls, it seems.
I had to double take I thought the title of the video said you were watching loki with Qorantos, that would be wild lmao
So much excitement, so few second seasons.
26:00 Paradox or closed loop, doesn´t matter its basicly the key to EVRY information you ever want, with this enabled, like in Harry Potter, you have instant all you wanna know ever.
1 Episode!? We want the Super Cut!!!
Loki is already several thousand years old... whats the issue with him solving the problems in the past, locking himself there and just living life for a few hundred years until he catches up to the "present" with all the problems solved or plans to solve them...
can't wait for the next episode
Midnight's Edge did a report on Hulk situation. The rights to Hulk character have belonged to Universal or some other company till 2024 (not sure about the date) and he was kinda borrowed to Disney Marvel. So no standalone movies for Hulk till then.
