I got this lift today (it was on sale for $999) and funny enough, Princessauto sent it to me to troubleshoot why my lift wasn't going back down! Your video shows the adjuster for the lowering speed. A huge thanks again for making this video!!
Good morning to you. The only complaint on my lift(Black Widow) is i have been trying how to make the pedal to have a neutral position. I guess it could be do somehow but haven't decided how. My lift only has a floor type rocker pedal.
I'm not familiar with that lift, so I searched on Google. Looks like a solid lift, and I saw the pedal. It's sure different than mine. I had to buy the scissor lift separately for mine. Did your lift come with one?
@@billbray8797 Ah, ok. I ended up purchasing one separately for my shop. It's a required item for many repairs on the lift. As a second jack, I sometimes use a scissor jack from a car. It's not as stable, but using some common sense, it does the job when you just need 3 hands.
Thanks for this, it's the only user review on YT of this lift... Curious, I like the idea of removing the side extensions, but I guarantee I'll walk into those bars that stick out on the side. It's the only flaw in the design, but he price is right compared to everything else on the market.
talk about the side extensions more...do you pay extra for them ?? are they in box at purchase ?? just do a video re the sides please....also do you have 100% confidence re a 900lb-1000lb old harley decker.....thankyou...mike....newmarket ont
Hey Mike. I have had my 2002 decker on there and other heavy bikes. Never had an issue. Even put a Cub Cadet Tank L zero turn mower up there. That's heavier than the Harley.. The sides are included with the unit. They just sit on top of the main support legs and pin in place. I sometimes take them off once the bike is lifted so I don't have to reach over them to work on the bike.
Hey another nice video. I'd like to invite you to the small engine repair community it's where a lot of small engine repair channels are coming together big channels as well as smaller channels to support each other and get to know each other better. We have livestreams where u can join the panel via stream yard and talk to the other people on the panel. Ken's small engine comes on Sunday mornings at 8am est. Micks mowers from the u k comes on Saturday evenings at 130 PM Steve's small engine saloon has livstreams at different times but he's on a lot of other livestreams. Then patsy's performance. Comes on Saturday mornings at 8amj

Glad it helped! Once I get into a bigger shop, I'll be buying probably 2 more of these...
Great video, thanks. I think I'll order one when it goes on sale.
Thanks for the video. It answered all my questions about the unit and made up my mind to get one. Now I just have to wait for it to go on sale.
On sale is the best way to go. I'm busy enough at my shop that I ended up getting a second lift table, but just the single narrow version.
Good, thorough review. I just bought the same unit and I think it's pretty darn good for the money... as long as you get it on sale!
Exactly! On sale is the best time to get anything... LOL

After removing the extension parts, the supports swing under the main bed out of the way.
@@randomwrenching Awesome. Buying this tomorrow in that case. I've been hunting for months. Cheers!
Great video! how hard is it to move the lift around?
It's heavy, not really designed to be portable like my smaller, narrower one that comes with wheels.
@ where is the smaller one from? Princess auto also?
Wow, nice lift and that should make shop life much easier,,,,,,, in some cases.
For sure. I'm all done crawling around on my knees on the floor...lol
@@randomwrenching I just bought one today on sale, same reason, I'm done crawling on my knees and laying on the floor to get under machines!
@@TheLyuen Yep, those days are gone for me!
How much is it when it goes on sale?
It's listed at $1,399 right now (regular price)
Got mine a few years ago for around $800
@@randomwrenching thank you! That's worth the wait then :)
Retail is now $1500 for this guy. Waiting for the next sale date....waiting....aiting........waiting.....impatient.....waiting...dang it.
Have to wait for the sale for sure...lol
Which compressor do you suggest using with this lift?
I have a 7hp/60gal 11CFM unit. Obviously it works fine. I have not tested the min CFM required though.
