Great ideas 💡
Very nice land❤
Beautiful land
Yes, I love the spring here so much.
@@MountainValleyRealEstate this looks exactly what I am interested. Thank you for your amazing videos!!
Wait until you see what the "fees" will be to build on it. Permit fees average over $100,000 not including "residence fees" and then the proverbial "bend over fee" . Top it off with astronomical property taxes. My wife and I bought land in 2016 near Flagstaff Az. after renting our entire lives in the Bay Area. We had to get out of California to finally own land and be able to build it ourselves. It's taken 8 years but we are nearing completion of "Mountain Lodge style Timber Frame cabin" made from lumber I milled myself. (Illegal in California). Building permit fee? $400. Property taxes? $385/year. We love the Geography/weather of California but the politics, restrictions and regulations make it unlivable.
Right? I've been pricing costs the last couple years in CA & OR. Absolutely ridiculous fees & restrictions. :( We have a cheap house. Hoping to make it until the kid can retire, most animal family gone, & the kid can retire somewhere comfortably.
You must be talking about another part of CA for the way over $100k in permit fees, that is ridiculous. Property taxes are 1 to 1.25% of the assessed value per year.
Here are some stats. The cost of living in Redding, Shasta County, CA is 21% lower than the state average and 9% higher than the national average. Also, this are is more Red than Blue. The governor wont be hear forever, but the land will be.
WE are looking in AZ for land also. What general area are you in? We are looking around Kingman, Williams area but open to anything we like.
Supreme Court just outlawed arbitrary permit fees.
Permit fees are assessed based on community impact. Extent of development, use of public works local schools, etc. I've never seen 100k fees in CA or anywhere else on a simple dwelling.
Where CA is restrictive and can get expensive/time consuming is with enviromental impact. And well... I think this property is a good example of why that is a worthwhile endeavor...
Absolutely gorgeous... 😍
It's a gorgeous property. We are interested in buying it.
Great!

Paved rd?
I live en Los Ángeles en I want to know what freeway I have to take to go be there
Interstate 5, north for about 8 hours with no stops.
Anything closer to Sacramento? Grass valley, auburn, colfax areas?
I don't have anything that far south of here.
@@MountainValleyRealEstate my wife needs to be close to a UC hospital. Still very tempted by these beautiful properties you show.
Thank you! The best hospital here is Mercy.
Cuanto tiempo se hace de los anges ca a montain valleig ca
How long does it take to drive from LA? Over 10 hours. Más de 10 horas
Hope you carry bear spray, deer tracks = mountain lion territory. 🦁
Yes, I have some spray. If I see a mountain lion, then I will buy a lottery ticket, pretty rare to ever see one, they are scared of the human voice. This are is fairly populated with houses, so doubt there are any in the area.
Nothing a wolf dog can't handle
Hi I want to know what's the name of the next town
Anderson, CA to the north and Red Bluff, CA to the south. They are both close to Cottonwood. Redding, CA is the biggest city in the area at about 90,000 people.
It will be brown grass I. A few montha
Exactly what I thought.
Is this land still available? How are the neighbors (are they friendly to minorities?) I have been watching your vids lately and the lands are beautiful but I always see you mention that these parts are more Red than Blue which concerns me. I would appreciate some insight about the demographic and whether they welcom strangers of different race and faith!
10k sold, 3.9 is too small.
California will take $39k for the land, and 20% of your income for life.
Who wants to move to comiefornia, beautiful state but so messed up.
There are differences between this part of CA and the rest, cost of living is way lower 21% on average and this area is more Red than Blue.
