So proud of you for transitioning into having a daytime babysitter so that it can relieve some stress in the evenings for you! I know it felt hard, but we are all here cheering you on!!
I had 4 kiddos and 3 were back to back. It made them much closer. 2 young ones is hard but well worth it . Carter is a doll and talks very well for his age.
I don't think anyone would get tired of watching Carter in your videos. He's such a joy! I think I was smiling throughout this video just watching him dance and talk. He's a very smart boy. You did great!
I’m a mother of 4. Saying I have my hands full is an understatement but I love them to pieces. I just stumbled upon your videos on UA-cam. I have to say, I absolutely love your beautiful family, your love, kindness and honesty. Thank you for sharing a Moms real life, whether happy or struggling with being a Mom can get overwhelming at times. Keep up you being you, you’re fantastic. It is always you and your husbands opinion (obviously lol). I think yes to having a second baby while Carter’s this young. My older two are just under 2 years apart. We wanted to wait a few months more thinking let’s get through the 3 months of summer at the time. It happened before we were “planning” but having them grow up closer to their age worked. With my younger two I couldn’t decided to have our 4th and waited a little time longer. They are 3 years apart, that worked great as well. Don’t feel pressured you’ll know when your ready. Seeing how amazing with Carter you guys are, your second one will be happy and blessed to be in your family. Please keep your videos going, you always make me smile. 😊
I would love to see a video on how you teach Carter new words and such.. my son will be two July 11th and he doesn’t say near as many words as your son.. so I would love some tips and tricks 😊 Love your videos btw ❤️
I almost did this video last week but decided not to at the last minute because I thought it was too specific of a topic on my channel. But I definitely can if people want to see it! The biggest thing I do is talk to him constantly, all day long. It's really tiring haha
VasseurBeauty maybe try doing a poll or ask on insta or snap to see if people would want to see a video on it, I sure would love to 😊 i talk to my son a lot and he picks up words very fast, I think he is a hands on learner more than anything though lol.. I actually bought some flash cards for him from watching you and when you had some for Carter 😊
VasseurBeauty you can make a video doing nothing in front of a camera for 30 min I would watch for sure!!! I love your video doesn’t matter what its about!
@vasseurbeauty @haleyhamilton I was going to ask the same thing! I have a 1 year old and want to know how u do it! I'm sure plenty would love the video.
Carter is just such a joy to watch. I’m not a kid ‘person’ but I look forward to seeing him. He’s so happy and energetic. He is just so pleasant. I smile ear to ear whenever he’s in the video.
Can't get enough of the cuteness! - those dimples, that smile, the curls in his hair, and now hearing him say words, and "performing"! River dance! TOO Adorable! I'm not a mom, but I love watching how Carter interacts - he's so smart! You're still enjoying little Carter, so I think it's great that you're taking your time with figuring out when you want to have a second child!
They grow up to fast! I remember your pregnancy cleaning videos and then poof! Here he is walking and talking and peacocking. You're an awesome momma and it shows through Carter!
Ahh Brittany. My first son was exactly Carter’s age- 17 months- when my second son was born!!! Lol. Having such a small age gap was definitely hard work just because my first one was still so totally dependent on me and my attention. However if you got pregnant, like, today - you would have a 2 year and 2 month gap between your two kids- you will find this much much easier. My older one is now 2 years and 2 months and so much more independent and able to play alone etc for a good chunk of time, giving me one on one time with my younger one who is now 9 months and started crawling today! You will LOVE having two though. Everyone worries about being able to love two kids because you think all your love is spent on your first- believe me, when you have two kids you don’t have to divide your heart in two- your heart actually expands. Seriously. You won’t believe how much love you have to go around. And if you have another boy carter will have a best friend for life and they will grow up together. But if you have a girl can you imagine how much of a stunner she will be !!! Gorgeous! Xx
Farhat Mahmood This was the most beautiful message “you don’t have to divide your heart in two - your heart actually expands.” Thank you for sharing. Brought a tear to my eye!
Farhat Mahmood Aww! I know this msg is for Brittany but I have a 13 month old boy and am currently preggo with player 2, also a boy. They will be around 18 months apart and sometimes I do get worried and scared how the heck I’m going to manage. Your comment is very encouraging and I really needed to hear it today with my body aching everywhere! Thanks!!
You are such an inspiration: you are a dedicated wife and mother, you have a way to manage your house and your baby, you work from home and you always look great!
I think going from 1 to 2, you just have to go into knowing everything won’t be perfect right away. Those early weeks are hard, exhausted, mom guilt etc., but remember that you will find a new rhythm that works for your family just like you did with your first. Then you can’t imagine life without them 💕
Its really nice to see that you get time to do your work now, both you and Carter seem to appreciate each other so much more when you see each other in the evening and it makes that time more special.
Carter's laugh is so cute! 😂 and yes more videos of Carter please! He's such a smart little boy. Please teach us your ways on how you teach him things. 😊
You're such a good mommy 💕. You can just tell he is content and loved , not to mention how smart he is. Having second and more children for me actually got easier they tend to entertain each other and don't need your attention as much, at least for me. I love watching you with him... he is so freaking adorable .💕
I would love to see a video of you teaching carter words! My son is 19 months and only says mama and daddy. He’s a premature baby (16weeks early😱) but I still would like to get him saying more. Love your videos!
I have a 18 month old and a 3 week old. The transition has been an adjustment but so far so good. Having them close together was something I feared but now I think I wouldn’t change it. It’s not as bad as I anticipated. My first was colic ... for SEVEN months ... so my partner and I have developed this mentality that we can now handle anything that comes our way! You can totally do it ! Been watching you since before Carter was born and you got this !!!! Much love from Canada !!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video on how you teach Carter!! I’m always blown away by how well he speaks and how much he knows. You’re clearly doing a fantastic job with him, so any tips would be much appreciated xx
Girl, you have the best personality! The transition from one to two and three was super easy, the oldest wants to help mama with babies. Carter is so smart and does so good with animals he will be the best brother and helper you will ever see. The love between the siblings is beautiful!! I cant wait for more babies from you two!! You guys make beautiful people!😘
this was the cutest thing I’ve seen in months! 😍 he’s such a smart and happy baby! those people that disliked this video are INSANE like how can you not love his smile and little laugh?!
It was an adjustment going from one kid to two but it’s gotten easier with each day. The newborn phase was hard, adjusting to new baby’s sleep schedule and night feedings. But now seeing the bond my son and daughter have, it’s amazing. My son is 3 and my daughter just turned 1. My son loves his sister and he loves playing with her, my daughter absolutely adores her brother. It’s so sweet!
ahh Britney pleasseeeeeee show us all the educational activities you have done with carter since he was a baby. or anything you do with him in general to get him to do/say things at an early age (I know all kids are different). he doesnt seem into technology too, which is amazing!
Carter is too cute! I have a little one about a month younger then Carter and would love If you would share your favourite educational/sensory games or toys! im really at a loss of how to entertain my little guy sometimes!
MsJess Louise Try giving him a large cardboard box, a large plastic spoon and a plastic bowl. Then leave him be. Kids don't always need to be entertained--what they learn using their imaginations is an important part of their education.
Oh my goodness Carter’s talking I can’t my heart is melting. He is so smart and answers to your full sentenced questions wow. Beautiful video 😂 he eats on his own with utensils that’s awesome. Your such a great mom, all those times you spent teaching Carter paid off. He’s a baby genius and a very happy baby. He’s always smiling I can’t Britney this video made me melt. Please please make more videos of Carter I love seeing him grow up. I’ve been following you and your channel since you started it’s amazing to see how far you have come Britney. Thank you for making a UA-cam channel & vlog channel. I always look forward to your videos. Your videos of Carter give me life. Love ilona your # 1 fan and supporter.
My girls are two and half years apart, the first month seemed a little hard but once you get a routine going then it gets easier. Now they keep themselves busy so it was a lot easier going from 1 to 2 then 0 to 1.
For us the hardest transition was going from 0 to 1. We have three kids. The second child benefits tremendously from experienced parents and everything runs more smoothly. Of course things always are changing, and that's a struggle in itself. You are a wonderful rolemodel. Thanks for the fun videos!
My son is very happy too when my husband and I are home together, sitting on the couch together and talking. He plays or joins us on the couch and he is so happy and content, everything in his world is all right it seems 💖
Such a cutie! I honestly thought going from one to two was easier than going from zero to one! I had more of an idea of what to expect and felt more confident going into it. There’s a nearly three year age gap between my girls, and my older daughter just LOVED helping with baby sister, so it was nice having an extra set of hands to fetch diapers, etc., haha!
Yes.. more please.. I can watch this over and over.. Carter's happiness is just so contagious and I'm sure many people do need that.. Carter is definitely the cutest baby I've ever seen in his look as well as in his action and temperament.. love love this kind of videos.. ❤️❤️❤️
It was easier for me to go from 1 to 2 kids. It was hard for me to go from none to 1. It was easy for me because I already had a schedule set up and was used to mom life. So after baby 2 I tried really hard to just stick with our routine and it seemed less overwhelming.
Ashley Lehmann Agreed. Especially if they are closer in age and you can get them on the same schedule. There's 5 yrs between my oldest and middle and only 1 yr between her and the baby. My oldest is very self sufficient but I still feel guilty sometimes because I have to tell her to play quietly or whatever because the babies are sleeping or she has to wait because I'm feeding, changing diapers, etc. It's obviously not like that with the babies because they can do everything at the same time... Although I do feel like I'm working on an assembly line sometimes.
Biggest thing I noticed from 1 to 2 babies is the lack of “ME” time. With 1 baby I got to enjoy her nap time or after bed time to relax or get cleaning done. Now that’s few and far between! (19 month difference. Daughter is 22 months, son is 2 months) Definitely take help if available to you. Having someone come to watch my daughter just a few days a week for 3 hours honestly reduced my anxiety levels and made the process so much more doable and gave me time to focus on the newborn baby! All the best! 💕💕💕💕💕
How was it going from 1 to 2? Chaos. Total beautiful chaos. Mine are almost 4 years apart. Now that the baby is talking and able to do more, they play together and it’s amazing. The biggest difference that I had a hard time adjusting to is that it’s more difficult to have a schedule. I had our oldest on a great schedule, but once there’s two schedules to keep it gets tougher. It’s worth it though!
Mine are 4 years apart too!! Let me tell ya it’s still tough, I don’t care what people say about age gaps. Meeting the needs of two kids any age is hard. But yes totally worth it 😍
I just love seeing Carter ♥️. He has grown so much & it seems like just yesterday you were posting your baby video! His development shows how much you work with him & it is amazing!!
He’s so adorable 😍 I’m a mommy of 2 my daughter is 18 months old and my son is 5 months old super close in age. Let me just tell you it’s super hard. But honestly you kinda just go with it and you do it day by day. Show both of them you love them both equally.
This is so adorable. I love watching him and his day. I miss my babies being this little, for about a minute. Enjoy every single minute because before you know it they're moving out to go to college...
I have 4, all 2 years apart. Going from 1 kid to 2 was my hardest transition. But the minute you see Carter holding and loving the new baby it make u melt! Even though mine fight like crazy some days knowing that they will always have each other makes me feel so secure.
You did tremendously great raising him thus far...he is extremely advanced and smart for his age and so well behaved and sweet and happy. Much love from Belize, the Caribbean!
It was easier with 2 kids. They entertained each other. My daughter was such a big help. She wanted to do everything. Their sleep schedule was the same. It's not as scary as you might think.
For me it wasn't very difficult to go from one child to two. But I live in Sweden, and here both mom and dad get 480 days paid leave when they have kids, so we don't have to work while raising our childern.
TheMasterSciFi I can’t even wrap my head around how amazing that is. I was still in the hospital when my husband went back to work. Luckily all our family is very close to us and I have a wonderful support, but I can’t even imagine how beneficial and amazing it would have been to have him home longer.
Routine is an absolute must with young children. You clearly have a very good routine in place already, so having another child will be a bit challenging at first, but you will soon regain your routine to include a newborn. Carter is such a well balanced & adorable child. You are doing a magnificent job. x
Oh and to answer your question, I had two daughters (grown now). Mine were ten years apart so I admit that the oldest helped a lot. It was still exhausting. I'm glad you got some help. I remember you discussing that.
Carolyn Sellito mine are 10 years apart too! Was not super excited to start over, but oldest gets to experience and really appreciate the youngest and helps out so much.
I'm so happy for you. You are such a a sweet family and you seem so much happier now that you have some help with Carter! Ps my mom has 3 kids. When we where small she relied on these things to make it work: 1. babysitters and good daycare places. 2. Family and friends for hand me down clothes, playmates and help. Having a really detailed sorting system for laundry so it was easier to keep up with: baskets in the laundryroom designated to each family member. 3. Keeping dinner super simple and sometimes relying on frozen food (home made)and sometimes partially prepare foods from the shop. Dinner on a weekday would never take more than 30 minutes to prepare. 4. Being firm/strict and drilling us early on the importance of letting her know where we where when we went out to friends and who we hung out with. The freedoms given us where based on mutual trust and this way both her and us kids would have a lot more freedom and free time. As long as she knew where we where and did not do anything bad we got to hang out by ourselves and stuff. It was great.good luck!
Hi Brittany, I love seeing Carter on your channel, I started watching your channel when I had my first baby daughter(she’s2 now. I now have a son as well (who’s almost 7 months old), so the difference between them is 1.5 years. It does get much harder, there are more stuff to tackle, first of all being the jealousy, so at the very beginning I would advise for you to give most of your attention to Carter, since the little baby only needs from you to eat, to sleep and to be changed in his/her first months (as harsh as it may sound). Second, if the toddler is not potty trained, it means twice as many nappy changes, way more clothes to wash and way less time for yourself. Even with all that, you will be overwhelmed with love and it does get easier as they grow, or you get into a whole new routine and this becomes the “new normal” for you. It did for me, and I’m loving being a mother of 2 now. I’m sorry for the loong message, just trying to be helpful :) Keep it up, I enjoy watching all your videos, no matter the topic :)
Carter is such a cutie!! I have a 19 month old daughter that loves watching your videos with him- they would make great friends!😉 As far as having another baby (I have 5) I would say you have set yourself up well with a consistent routine with Carter that will ease transition. A lot of adding another baby is trusting your and your hubby's inner voice telling you this is what you want for your family.
I just love your videos, especially when you include adorable Carter!! Going from 1 to 2 was definitely an adjustment at first but then it got so much easier -- especially as Carter grows and becomes more independent. It's having an amazing child like Carter that makes you want to have more! The adorable-ness is addictive -- and don't forget, you're a pro now! xo
Thumbs up for carter's river Dance from Ireland!Don't worry about having another child like even having one child it's an adjustment you get into a rhythm after the hard first 3 month stage and then it's a breeze although I have heard from friends with 3 children that going from 2 children to 3 was a nightmare Glad i stuck to just 2 I had my two a girl and a boy 2 yrs apart and the second child was born premature so had to be fed every two hours so had no sleep for a couple of mths but glad I had two because they will always they have each other!
Carter is adorable and so smart! Isn’t it fun! Having a second isn’t as big of a change as the first one. You already know what your doing and it allows you to be much more relaxed. You’ll be great! And Carter is so bright I really thing he won’t be terrible about having a baby in the house!
Brittany, you are a GREAT MOTHER, and your baby CARTER is your reward. Excellent job! The baby is amazingly happy, well-developed, and it is a JOY to see you both ~AND AMAZING DADDY RYAN!~ having so much fun. Congratulations! Y'all made me smile. :)
There is just under 2yrs between my little boy and girl. It is constant and you dont really get a minute but its so fun watching them grow a little relationship together. You seem to have a very supportive husband like me and you are already a great tag team, so it will be great! Its not as hard as you expect it to be in your head. I found myself to be so much more relaxed about everything 2nd time round and the breastfeeding is very convenient..you can be feeding the baby and the toddler beside you reading a book or sittg feeding himself in high chair. Love your videos xx
Hi! If you want a second baby you don't need to think to much because you might change your mind 😂😂 you just do it 😉 How will you manage everything ...well you will cross that bridge when you get there 😂😂 and I'm sure you will be just fine. It's a lot easier because you already have experience and it's definitely worth it. If you are afraid of the bad things you might loose some great ones. Just keep doing what you're doing 😉 Hugs!
Hi. Hes so cute. Can u u a video on how u teach him and the stuff u do for his learning. Thank u

He is soooo cute 😍 i'm in love with those dimples. Husband an I are trying to have are own little carter. Hope I'll get pregnant soon
Dorothy Volfango me too 😊
My son is very happy too when my husband and I are home together, sitting on the couch together and talking. He plays or joins us on the couch and he is so happy and content, everything in his world is all right it seems 💖
"A day in Ryan's life" ?
Ohh my gosh , Carter is growing up so fast.He is so adorable.Thank you for sharing these precious moments. It truly warms my heart .💖
Such a cutie! I honestly thought going from one to two was easier than going from zero to one! I had more of an idea of what to expect and felt more confident going into it. There’s a nearly three year age gap between my girls, and my older daughter just LOVED helping with baby sister, so it was nice having an extra set of hands to fetch diapers, etc., haha!
that's good to hear!!! So sweet that she's your little helper
Yes, that's great to hear! We are awaiting our 2nd lil girl to arrive and our 1st is 3 and very independent and helpful, so hopefully we'll good.
Yes.. more please.. I can watch this over and over.. Carter's happiness is just so contagious and I'm sure many people do need that.. Carter is definitely the cutest baby I've ever seen in his look as well as in his action and temperament.. love love this kind of videos.. ❤️❤️❤️
And I think he surely got his happy character from you. I learned a lot from you, too... Thank you for sharing your life with us..
I agree. This is how I felt. Two is easier then going from having no kids to having one!
Biggest thing I noticed from 1 to 2 babies is the lack of “ME” time. With 1 baby I got to enjoy her nap time or after bed time to relax or get cleaning done. Now that’s few and far between! (19 month difference. Daughter is 22 months, son is 2 months)
Definitely take help if available to you.
But yes totally worth it 😍
I feel yall ladies my 2 oldest are 6 and 2 and boys and oh boy haha my youngest is a girl and 6 months tomorrow!
He is so smart! You are a great mom. 💕
My 1 1/2 year old loves watching this video! Even if she is in a bad mood, it makes her so happy.
He is getting so big!!! I love these vids!!
You are sun an a inspirational to many. God bless your energy. You mom skills is amazing!!
'A day in the life of the world's most cutiest baby' 😍😍😍
I have 4, all 2 years apart. Going from 1 kid to 2 was my hardest transition. But the minute you see Carter holding and loving the new baby it make u melt! Even though mine fight like crazy some days knowing that they will always have each other makes me feel so secure.
Carter is absolutely adorable!
You did tremendously great raising him thus far...he is extremely advanced and smart for his age and so well behaved and sweet and happy. Much love from Belize, the Caribbean!
carter is such a wonderful gift!! he’s so cute
Jane Lovell He's definitely such a gift!!
His happiness is a result of you being good parents. What a vocabulary!
How precious!!! Carter is so stinkin’ CUTE!!! 😍❤️😍❤️😍
I love seeing Carter my 17mth old daughter likes watching videos of Carter with me. He's so cute and talks so clear. Thanks for sharing.
It was easier with 2 kids. They entertained each other. My daughter was such a big help. She wanted to do everything. Their sleep schedule was the same. It's not as scary as you might think.
Kurly Long Lox what is their age gap? I’m currently 17 weeks and my daughter is 2. I’m worried she won’t be potty trained before this baby comes.
Such a cutie. He speaks so well. Haven't heard very many 17 month old kids say yellow so clearly. Great job!
I love seeing him.
Wow, so good! In switzerland the mother have 14 weeks paid leave 🙄 . So i took another 4 months off, not paid.. The Fathers have 5 days paid leave...
Wow that's fantastic! I want to move there
TheMasterSciFi the best system...
Routine is an absolute must with young children. You clearly have a very good routine in place already, so having another child will be a bit challenging at first, but you will soon regain your routine to include a newborn. Carter is such a well balanced & adorable child. You are doing a magnificent job. x
Carter- he is just the cutest!💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Carter is so smart! 🙊 he responds to your questions so well and has such a great memory with words
Your a great mom and you’ve inspired me to be a better mom. Something that I know is soo hard so congrats 😊
Love his sweet little personality you guys sure are raising him right and teaching him so much he's so so smart
He is so smart😃
4:06 cutest dimples everrrr😍
Shelby-Anne Reid omg yess 💗
So excited for you. Almost to 1 Million. You're such a great mom and Carter is the cutest and extremely smart.💜
Carter is basically a mini Ryan. Lol. So cute.
Christina so true lol
Carter is such a cutie!! I have a 19 month old daughter that loves watching your videos with him- they would make great friends!😉 As far as having another baby (I have 5) I would say you have set yourself up well with a consistent routine with Carter that will ease transition. A lot of adding another baby is trusting your and your hubby's inner voice telling you this is what you want for your family.
Cleaning is a lot more challenging with two. My second is just very attached and doesn't nap at all unless held.
I second this
I just love your videos, especially when you include adorable Carter!! Going from 1 to 2 was definitely an adjustment at first but then it got so much easier -- especially as Carter grows and becomes more independent. It's having an amazing child like Carter that makes you want to have more! The adorable-ness is addictive -- and don't forget, you're a pro now! xo
17 month old and he can now talk good. So nice!
I enjoyed this immensely!! Yes, keep showing as much as Carter as you can. He's so cute and so smart.
Thank you for sharing Carter and Ryan with us. It just makes my day!
He is so cute and so much personality!!!♥
Carter is adorable and so smart! Isn’t it fun! Having a second isn’t as big of a change as the first one. You already know what your doing and it allows you to be much more relaxed. You’ll be great! And Carter is so bright I really thing he won’t be terrible about having a baby in the house!
Thank you. I love carter videos.
Carter is ADORABLE and very smart! I love, love to hear him talk.
He is really the most happiest toddler in the world. He keep us smiling, adorable curly hair.
