I was deployed to Iraq during my USAF career. This simulation gives me flashbacks of the real deal, except that real explosions illuminate/white out almost the whole screen, and the target is totally obliterated. People who have never served need to understand that our military leaders don't just wake up one day and decide they will randomly go for the kill like playing a video game. To get to this point takes 💯% accuracy in intelligence gathering on the enemy's logistics: How many (people, times), who (importance), what (cargo, importance), where meeting and delivery, when meeting and delivery, and why important to execute. There are many other important aspects to consider in intelligence gathering, that being, do we have enough hardware and manpower to conduct an attack on the enemy.
The audio is ripped from a real AC-130 run or two.
Honestly, COD4 back in 2007 had a more visually convincing AC-130 mission.

WOW!! Pretty realistic for sure. Had me going for a few minutes. What threw me off was the action at 4:12. The way the soldier moved from the driver side to standing on the road was weird looking. Plus I was thinking there should be body parts flying about. Regardless pretty fricken cool. Makes me wanna buy for sure.

Amazing. Some of it looked fake the way the animations were like when they got out of the vehicles, but realistic for their purposes here. I can’t imagine a better system to trim on.

Always bugged me that thermals in arma are such high quality that you can see if someone is a comabtant or civilian from ten kilometers away
Pretty cool, except the unrealistic action of the soldiers on the ground when their pickup truck gunners are put out of action. They would disperse in different directions.
With troops with that level of support and organisation (the ground troops) you would have seen more use of man portable anti aircraft (helicopter) weapons. Heck even the Somalia's took down Blackhawks with RPG7's. Think of what 6 men with man portable anti aircraft weapons could have done to those choppers.

The video game was made 2013 and the movement was widely known to be buggy. Hopefully when they release Arma 4 it will be more realistic.
The movement of the people on the ground gave it away, also the gas station looked different 🙂

Some smoke, especially heat sourced smoke may emit enough of a thermal signature or particles to be picked up in a Thermal sight. (one of my many reasons WP smoke is used for tanks for concealment)

I don't think the mask is meant to stop someone from catching it unless possibly it's a N(95) mask, i think it's mostly meant to keep someone from spreading it in case they cough or sneeze similar to the surgical masks the Doctors and nurses wear in operating rooms, also it may help in the case were someone picks the virus up on their hand and then touches their face. But I'm not a health care professional so what do i know
@@johnpalma7265 I'll help you. With a small sneez that can go up to 100mph 100.000 average drops are spread and nearly 70% escape immediately from masks. The simple movement of air near the mask tissue makes the micro fly thas why theres a lot of infection post-operandi. But its only me that never went to medical school for lessons.

When i was younger i was palying basicly only shooter games. The more older i get the more i think this kind of games are wrong. i heard all the pros and cons in that ethically or morally debates. but our recent times have showed us, that in a blink of an eye violent thoughts can turn into action. say what you wwant angainst a statement like that. shooters and war games are a huge industries i know that. also i am not saying that every shooter-game-player goes on a rampage like at nizza (2016), at Las Vegas (2017) , at Munich Olympia Center (2017), Utoya (2011) or at Vienna (2020). But i am sure games like that can changes something inside of us. i just dont know. i hope some of you can understand what i mean. i loved those games. but today i think it is wrong that games like that are offered and made more and more realistic. i mean, pacman is also "killing". but that is different somehow. There i dont have to kill human kind. i just dont know....

Those bullets explode when they hit the ground, anyone in the vicinity gets hit. A direct hit turns them into a splurge, you see one like that in this video. I thought it was pretty realistic.

Real Ci30 video at night is always very clear and the camera always stays on target. The other clue that is fake . The chatter between the gunners and pilot and those coordinating the Attack by satellite Is Muffled.
