- The full version of the Raid miniseries, combined in a feature film based on Escape from Tarkov action PRG universe.
In the film adaptation by Director Anton Rosenberg, the audience opens the world of the game and the armed conflict that occurred in the Norvinsk region, a special economic zone on the border between Russia and Europe. The main operating parties are two private military companies - USEC and BEAR, commencing fierce battles, including the fights with the remaining gangs in the city called Scavs. The protagonist is in the occupied city of Tarkov, the exits of which are blocked by UN peacekeepers and Russian military troops.

As an American and having seen a million movies where Americans are fighting the "bad guy" Russians, It's truly awesome to watch something from the other perspective. Also this is just an absolute masterclass on believable action shorts. WELL DONE BSG.

Apart from being a cinematic masterpiece with amazing realistic combat, this movie does a great job of delivering a clear message about war and the similarities of the two fighting sides. It teaches you that there is no black and white, everything is a shade of gray; and when picking who to fight for, even if you chose the "brighter" side, you will still fight people with similar principles, opinions, and people who you'd call friends if you had met in different circumstances. I feel like a lot of movies/series nowadays don't try to deliver any meaningful message, and that is a true shame. Absolutely brilliant film!

I don't know why so many people are commenting about the war in Ukraine lately. this film is NOT MILITARY PROPAGANDA this only promotes the game and also explains how brutal war is that doesn't choose who is right and wrong. So it's clear this video is not propaganda material for the Russian military or Ukraine and NATO

Фильм то реалистичный и актёры чудо как хороши,очень впечатлило но сценарий таакой кривой,особенно конец.С таким концом весь фильм полностью теряет смысл.Отполировали бы сценарий, не фильм был бы а чисто брулиант!

@Дмитрий Томкэт Клишированная перестрелка уровня фильмов 90х годов. Возможно, тогда действительно это была лучшая перестрелка, но сейчас она откровенно так себе. В Рейде перестрелки сняты на голову выше, так как здесь и упор шел именно на боевые сцены, так что сравнивать довольно глупо. И в Рейде можно найти до чего докопаться, но здесь именно можно откинуться в кресле и насладиться сочными перестрелками, шумом, гамом боевых действий.

I think the best things that make this short movie so different than Hollywood films is how intense every fire fight is. It showed how real they are and how confusing and hectic it all is... the main cast dyeing randomly without any screen time or in any "badass" fashion... how quickly and early into the fighting did they start to run low on ammo.. the malfunctions of the guns and the use of various equipment on their gearset/belts.. instead of a person peaking a corner and firing 1-5 shots and killing one person and that's it, there's wide shots of extremely close CQB of spray and prays, holding guns around the corner without peaking, prefiring, shooting through objects or the corners of the walls, THE USE OF SUPRESSION to move forward in a fight even if they mag dumped a hallway and killed no one, the dust and environment dynamically reacting to the gun fight and over all painting every encounter like an intense and scary event. Overall the effects for everything from bullet ricochet pings, muzzle flashes, sounds, grenade explosions, voice comms and random banter/chatter were all realistic with little to no hollywood flare and honestly made the scenes far more immersive, intense and watchable.

One of those big calls was when their sniper Voron pincered the scavs to get his team out, there was friendly fire for a good 30 seconds with him yelling
Also I think at the beginning when they were spraying at the USEC forces they hit the concrete and the shrapnel went into a guys eye
Largely because its an international production. Dark is another phenomenal European tv show in german. None of that hollywood “flare”
They need to make another film, this is better than a lot of other films I’ve seen on Netflix

I don't comment much, but damn, that felt like it was a Box office action movie, had me on the edge of my seat every 10 minutes. Amazing.
In terms of combat scenes this is probably hands down the best action film I have seen, certainly depicting modern combat.
I loved the taps on shoulders, especially the one where the blast had the dude deaf for a bit and needed the tap. The attention to detail was great in this movie and I hope they make more

37:01 to 38:25 is genuinely the most amazing fight scene I've ever seen, The claustrophobic camera angles along side the lack of soundtrack and main focus and sound design (Characters breathing, loading weapons and attacking each other of course) I haven't seen anything able to beat this, not to mention how phenomenal the acting was from both actors.

Ничего себе... Думаю, по реалистичности боевых сцен, это лучшее, что было когда-то снято по обе стороны океана. Ну, разве что Спилберг со своей знаменитой сценой высадки в Нормандии... нет, не лучше. Просто не хуже. Как бывший телевизионщик, представляю себе, что такое - снять фильм. Тем более, хороший экшн. Но, совершенно не представляю себе, чего стоило, как финансово, так и технически, снять ТАКОЙ замес, в таком ОГРОМНОМ хронометраже и в ТАКОМ нереальном качестве. А боевых сцен тут почти на 70% всего хронометража, на минуточку. Это просто невообразимая работа.

I just realized one major factor that makes the action so much more interesting than most action movies! The characters never know more than they’re supposed to! They always have an incomplete understanding of their environment and it makes things much more chaotic
And they actually use their guns.Not that rambo nobody can hit me mvement in fast and furious for example. They actually get wounded as well.

Единственный в своем роде. Никакой воды, есть задача - ее выполняют. Нет никаких любовных треугольников, там, где их быть не должно, нет женщин, героически убивающих полк солдат, все по-настоящему. I am a huge fan of action/war movies.. This was by far the best I have ever seen. Very quick connection with the characters. Great CGI and incredible acting. This right here.. This deserves some sort of international award for film making. I am sad it is over but I look forward to more... Very very good job Battlestate. Keep up the amazing work.

That was exponentially better than my expectations. Those gunfights were better than the vast majority of military movies. I'm on my third wipe and NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS GEM. That one on one scene in the showers was top notch. The attention to detail was amazing. The nodes to in-game stuff like the middle fight that blends bathrooms on factory and three story dorms on customs isn't lost on anyone. The Bear and USEC teaming up scene was fucking awesome. They even snuck in the wilhelm scream out of nostalgia. Outstanding fucking work considering it looked expensive to make for such a niche game.

Stunning. Best modern combat sequences I've ever seen... by a wide margin. No happy ending as well, which really hits home at the end. 10/10. Thanks.
In war there is no real happy ending. Maybe some happy stories that don't end in tragedy but as a whole there is no happiness. I say this because scaled down you cannot really have a happy ending even when you scale down conflicts to personal level. This is because someone, somewhere, always suffers (like even in World War 2, you'd think moustache man biting his own bullet would be something good for everyone but it isn't. His family, even distant relatives, have been living with that stigma and most opted never to have kids. And these people only have the guilt of sharing genes with that muppet)

for a short film about a videogame where the story isn't entirely clear, this is one hell of a watch, its dark, gritty, and had some amazing affects . Every gunfight is a treat to watch and the parts in between the bullets flying aren't boring either and provide enough elements for the story to have an impact. Excellent job!

Воу, так неожиданно увидеть столько комментариев от иностранцев, это крайняя редкость для русского проекта. Огромный респект Batllestate
Научились боевики снимать, даже с резким скачком опередив голливуд. Режиссеру респект, ждем от него полномасштабного шедевра.
тут хорошо все сработали, и сценарист который полноценно передал дух игры, и постановщик, и спецэффекты. И все снято на бюджет низкопробного голливудского фильма. (около ляма или двух долларов вроде) а все на два уровня выше. Никакой стерильности, все передано идеально вплоть до мелочей типо разлета мозгов или даже головы от выстрелов той же крупноколиберки. Видно что ребята впервую очередь работали за идею.
Только русские поймут, иностранцы посмотрят как на экранизацию игры...

Там по гражданке жуть, но всё правильно так и было...
Снята работа и спецов, и бывших спецов, и гражданских с оружием, и мародëров( нарков и нациков) всех мастей...
После пересмотрел турист( 50/50), гранит... Не зашло...

The ending messed me up a bit, crazy how it's mostly amazing fight scenes but you build such a connnection to everyone, by the 15minute mark I was wringing my hands, cringing at every BEAR death. So great, better than most all movies I've seen. This needs more, I need more. We need more.
We are the obsessed ones. Why is that you cringe? That makes no sense........you cringe at deaths? Mabey you don't know the meaning. But I haven't even watched this movie and the reviews for it are based and reality!

I love it. This is better than a lot of Hollywood movies because of the realism like the tactics used, the call-outs, injuries, etc. Also the fact that there is no hero that just blasts through everyone and that people are dying everywhere on both sides. I also like seeing the west being the bad guy for once and looking at things from a different perspective. In all, the movie was good and I recommend it, well done Battle State Games.

Пересмотрел еще раз.Можно Голливудским киноделам показывать в качестве учебного пособия-как действительно нужно снимать сцены боя. И никаких тонн взрывчатки, никаких ядерных взрывов.Аплодирую стоя создателям фильма!!!
И самое главное - в одном котле очутились, русский и американец. Нашли общий язык и....дальше вы смотрели.

Для обычного пользователя слишком динамично и непонятно. Сам если бы не знал карту завода не понял бы нихрена именно в этой сцене в позициях. А так снято хорошо.

unironically one of the best action movies
I am lost for words how gritty, cold hearted this movie was with the atmosphere of war. And to think this film was mainly related to a game, I am astounded how they've pulled off a movie with plenty of characters, plenty of action, and just overall entertainment value. Again, I'm lost for words that a company that manufactured a video game this hardcore, with a film like this, I don't know what to say. This is the most recent movie I've watched today, it's been years since the last time I sat down and enjoyed a movie. I need to watch more military-war themed movies just as good as this movie. That is my take. I'm now going to buy the game soon.

Well, if you get the game... prepare to die. A lot. Roll with the punches, and do not expect to be good in the slightest. I've got 900 hours now and I'm beginning to become a decent player, and the same applies to many others with 500+ hours.
it's good because most of Battlestate workers are ex military , all the fights scenes are realistics .
American movie: plot armor basically have you covered, no worries.
Russian movie: plot armor until you die of a tragic ending.

The way how it matched the way Tarkov is, is outstanding. TerraGroup, BEAR, and USEC, it all matched. BEAR and USEC working together sometimes, the weaponry, the lines, even down to the way the soldiers acted. Very great film, and I recommend a 10/10 for general story. Good job, Battlestate!

Близко к реальности но нет, нет со стороны противника голосов, в чеченской там как галки орали со всех сторон вот это реально. И такой тактической подготовки ни у кого не было с 1996 по 2003 . Был ужас в РФ армии. Но фильм интересно сняли.

Ну это уже глупо будет. Просто сделают нового персонажа и все. Скифа в упор в грудь (или в голову) расстреляли все же, при том что он уже раненым был.

I just finished this beautiful cinematic masterpiece, and I can't express how much I love with this movie. From the cinematography to the character building this movie hits the nail on the head. The story arc is beautiful I love how foe because friend and how well they portrayed the brotherhood in war. I wish I could have paid to see this movie because of how good it was. I would recommend this to anyone who loves action, adventure, and over-all well-made movies. This movie is a 10/10.

@@lazerktulu2693 Актеры погружены в роль. Человек, погружающийся в роль, стремится максимально сжиться со своим персонажем. Так, чтобы невозможно было отличить игру и настоящую жизнь. Съемочная группа максимально подчеркивает это+спецэффекты. Поэтому верит.
Hollywood despite their limitless budget got nothing against this. Got me hooked from start to finish!
Finally, a film that shows a true hand grenade explosion and not that Hollywood big flame fireball.
First the flash of light, then the shockwave, then the shrapnel, then the dirty dust, and then the smell.
Outside of the shrapnel, the ringing and deafness for hours is the worse. It makes you disoriented.
