From what I've seen in the video Eggman rocket boost, Super Sonic boost, Infinite boost, Nutcracker silver boost, and fire boost are all roughly the same speed as darkspine boost. To sum it up darkspine boost is basically fire boost, but lasts two seconds longer. However, since darkspine slows down for the first second of his boost it's really only a three second long fire boost because the first second of the boost makes up for the one second lost when first activating the boost because of the slow down. With that being said if you have a level 14 Eggman darkspine boost is basically the equivalent of that as far as distance. All they need to do to fix darkspine boost is not give him slow down. All his attacks do roughly the same amount of damage as a level 3 Fireball. Great comparison video though especially since you have the characters right next to each other when they activate the Boost. 👍
Watching a super sonic player get ahead of you just to lose because they mistimed their boost is amusing, knowing they're getting no rings from the race either is neat too. Darkspines boost is satisfying because he's still just running and not flying or anything like the other boosts. He also honestly takes some skill to use with how his attacks slow him down and are a pain to hit opponents with
