Drove around yesterday and the whole place has a post-apocalyptic feel to it. Most buildings are either in various states of disrepair or abandoned. Not sure why there’s security checkpoints still active to get there, what are they protecting?
Cubi is the least developed and yes it feels like stepping into a nuclear family zone from the 1950s. We loved it there, its a beautiful area. Checkpoints are use as security for the Freeport.

Hey Pete why aren’t there more people in cubic bay? It’s so nice there. Is it a superfund?is there a volcano near cubic bay.
Was just in Upper Cubic a few weeks ago. Now, nothing to rent under 9,500 pesos a month. Including Jade and Topaz. And most are virtually full. Unless thats the Kano only price.
I was there visiting from California back in June and I found a suite for 370 dollars a month. It was a great deal compared to my 2000 dollars a month one bedroom unit that I have here in SD
It was officers quarters for navy singles. I lived in one. Used to be good..... however now the owner of all the buildings has leased most of the units to a vrey large group of chinese ....... many hundreds....... no longer worth living in.
Interesting. I was one of those U.S Navy airmen that lived in what is now the Crownpeak (1985 - 1987). First floor, first unit on the left.
