The sad thing in our community is and I say this with utmost responsibility, that no one really cares to cry for Imam Hassan(AS) or even speak about his life, and I really don’t know why , u cry for Imam Ali(AS) and Imam Hussain(AS) but no one bothers to go for Imam Hassan, which is prolly a great injustice done to the man who was known to be the greatest man who ever lived after Imam Ali(AS)
the sword called zulfeqar was brought down by the Angel Gabriel in the battle of Uhud after the Sword of of Imam Ali broke into pieces. The Prophet raised his hands and prayed for victory and that is when sword came down.
Salam Sayed, I was reading the sermons on Siffin in Nahjul Balagha. Sermon 207 involves the Imam’s companions and their displeasure to the arbitration. 206 mentions what you quoted but it quotes the Imam saying “Hold back this young man on my behalf, lest he should cause my ruin, because I am loathe to send these two (meaning Al Hasan and Al Hussain) towards death, lest the descending line of the Prophet is cut off permanently by their death.” I don’t mean to sound ignorant but this does not attribute to the likeness of Imam Ali and doesn’t seem like something he would say; why would he fear for his sons lives in the battlefield when they are great warriors? Is there a mistranslation or perhaps a deeper meaning that I am missing?
nahjul balagha is not a book written directly by Imam Ali (a) its written by scholars who came after him. so not all of them can be 100% authentic. one way to know is if it contradicts Quran or not, if so you can dismiss it, if it contradicts his lifestyle and his wisdom, you can dismiss it
On the other hand there is another issue. It falls under which dimension you are looking at it. If you are looking at it as the future of the Islam and the people who were raised to lead the ummah and they were among the purified by Allah. then if they die the line is cut, its not fear of their deaths or doubts in their ability to fight but its the future of Islam that is at stake with their death. It's not like those two brave men didnt fight at all. look at the history, its just a testimony to their value as leaders and the line of succession that is carried through them
Peace be upon you, O Imam Al-Hasan!

Totally agree about keeping fit 🏃♂️💪 and also so true that Shi'a men/women are way less fitter on average than kuffar (except for me of course 😎)
Ayesha is not a wife anymore of the Prophet (PBUH) after his death. At that time, she was the ex-wife or widow of the Prophet (PBUH).
