They don't make them like this anymore sadly, just a lovely bike in an era when Brit' Bikes' were declining, but an updated/modernised version of the A65 'Firebird would be a winner now?!
Nicely put and if I can add that exhaust sound is diabolical. You’ve taken me back to my decision making in the mid 70’s - FS1-E, KH250, second hand 1968 Triumph 500, Suzuki GS750. The KH and the GS were new with the FS1-E being a year old. The quality, finish and style were streets ahead of the British equivalent and to a flares wearing teenager there was absolutely no contest. Thus I can say I contributed in no small part to the downfall of the British bike industry. Anyone got a 1975 MK11A Norton Commando…..

And the Firebird is in georgeous conditions, sounds great! It has a very godd press at his times.

Sad the Brits didn't progress in time. Unfortunately the paint scheme and the pipes look like an after thought. Or tried to copy a Honda CL350.
