Whilst the family are dumbing down with "Love Island" I'm educating myself with these great videos. Rob, you need to stop apologising - nothing to aplogise for !!!
Shoutout to all the Chris’ in the world. We all know one. They might be a Dave, Steve or Brian, but the essence of Chris is there. Always has your back and knows how to fix anything. Chris’ of the world... we salute you.
Another eyeopener Rob and Chris these jaunts to different places you have found are really interesting, and things we might never see through day to day, so thanks for that and keep doing these if you can we love them.
Hi Rob and Chris 😊 Great video on the Range Rover 👍🏻 Never apologise for your content Rob 😆 Your channel is about real time as it........👍🏻 So stop waffling on and let’s get involved 🤣 As always fantastic guys 👍🏻
I do like a Classic Range Rover, they were a luxury vehicle back in the day but they retained a lot of the utilitarian character of a Landrover. The new Range Rovers cost so much you need to have a LOT more money than sense to take them on a tough off-road track. Ding a new one and you are talking a four figure repair bill more than likely. We now have a car capable of taking on challenging off-road conditions driven by city dwellers who will almost certainly never do more than drive it across a mildly muddy field. Crazy old world!
Hi Rob, great video, the difference on engine components before and after Vapour blasting is awesome, looks brand new.once all the panels have been painted it will look like new.
Hi Rob, interesting to watch the soda/vapour blasting in action, certainly works a treat too. Great to see progress being made on the Range Rover again, keep the videos coming mate. Cheers, Alex.
All ways good to see new processes and supporting your local businesses, great content and not many you tubers who do this so keeps it fresh and relevant, great job guys.
This episode reminded me of wheeler dealers you as mike brewer watching folk making your parts looking pretty, Chris edd China back at the workshop doing the graft 🤣😂
Much quicker than shed loads of Autosol! Makes me wonder whether it would be possible to anodise the ali components and that would protect them indefinitely. Another great video, many thanks.
Soda and vapour blasting seems to be a lot better than sand blasting ever was, sand was always an aggresive blast IMO. Maybe a coat of laquer would help protect the look for a lot longer. Thanks for an interesting video guys, you're getting on really well with the LSE 👍🏻
Another great insight into what's available out there if you look hard enough 👍.... the best thing for me is all these guys in little know workshops making a living in such niche fields i.e. soda blasting, paint mixing and wheel refurbishment all highlighted buy your good selves and don't stress about sound quality and mispronunciation that's what makes it real 👍👍👍..... Rob, Chris cheers lads 😊😊😊
Your partner in crime Chris killing it with the fab work. That Range Rover’s bad but not nearly as bad as it could have been. Great work and those shiny bits will help lift it under the bonnet👍
Hi I used to do bead blasting for a living. Needless to sat all my mates bikes had immaculate engines. Never heard of soda blasting but I know people blast with walnut shells!
Best thing i found to clean old parts is a tub full of paint thinner and a plastic brush, it removes old oil like nothing, and old paint, but it does not remove corrosion like you had on those aluminium parts. But give thinner a go
Great video rob ,and thanks for spending the time and effort to boost the content. Judging by your expression rob can I see a cosworth on the back of your truck 😀👍
Hi Rob hope you can show chris welding the sheet metal. It's not easy, it can warp if not done right. I don't think viewers can get arc eye from watching a screen.
Just started watching your videos. Some really awesome and interesting content you’re putting out fella. Currently loving the £200 buys at the moment and seeing the profit at the end. Keep up the good work!
Nice to see the Range Rover getting back on screen. Soda blasting is amazing . Great results. Prefer the original time lapse music. It's your theme tune Rob.😁👍
Hi Rob, I'm guessing that this process, vapour blasting, is only good for non ferrous materials as it is basically wet blasting, media and water? Regards Mark.
salvage rebuilds uk yes if you don’t need to then I guess it saves a lot of time and effort. My Dad has an old 300tdi disco for a long time and the old RR looks really similar under the body work.
No apology necessary, another great little video. Could tell you were impressed with Mr Vapour Blasting, those parts really do look like new.
Whilst the family are dumbing down with "Love Island" I'm educating myself with these great videos. Rob, you need to stop apologising - nothing to aplogise for !!!
Andy Jolley well said
@@Stop..carry-on I agree. Rob is a gift to us all.
Cool video. But stop apologising. Lol.
There is nothing more finer than a bit of blast cleaning, recycling at its best. Cheers guys
Who needs to buy new, when there are guys like Wayne around.
Great video Rob.
Bootneck I know mate absolutely brilliant 👍

Fab bit of work Rob, please don’t apologise you don’t need to, the soda blasting looks great by the way

Hi Rob, interesting to watch the soda/vapour blasting in action, certainly works a treat too. Great to see progress being made on the Range Rover again, keep the videos coming mate. Cheers, Alex.
Another great vid.
Chris reminds me of the bloke Paul from the old episodes of Wheeler Dealers, always seen but never heard 😂
Thats right! Paul was actually the director!
Yes, love a bit of variety. £200 car challenge is great and keep returning to long term motors makes it all interesting. Love the bike too...
All ways good to see new processes and supporting your local businesses, great content and not many you tubers who do this so keeps it fresh and relevant, great job guys.
Great video Rob. Love the smile at the end, looks like you have something up your sleeve for more content 😉👍🏻
John Ives lol you think correct 👍
This episode reminded me of wheeler dealers you as mike brewer watching folk making your parts looking pretty, Chris edd China back at the workshop doing the graft 🤣😂
Cracking video, impressive how the metal cleaned up. Nice and clean. Or maybe more fittingly all shiny and chrome.....
Much quicker than shed loads of Autosol! Makes me wonder whether it would be possible to anodise the ali components and that would protect them indefinitely. Another great video, many thanks.

Such a cool process Rob!

What an amazing difference.. I like to see a clean and tidy engine..
Giving old parts a new lease of life without breaking the bank and keeping original parts with the car it's a win win. It is coming on nicely
Nobody like me thank you 👍
Another great video Rob it’s coming on 👍
Thanks Rob good viewing as always.
The blasting has made a nice tidy job, better than trying to clean it all by hand
I still prefer old music on time lap mate love watching your videos
thanks rob
for vapour blasting

Your partner in crime Chris killing it with the fab work. That Range Rover’s bad but not nearly as bad as it could have been. Great work and those shiny bits will help lift it under the bonnet👍

That was stunning, what a result on the parts, look brand new! Great video again Rob, very interesting 👌
Hi I used to do bead blasting for a living. Needless to sat all my mates bikes had immaculate engines. Never heard of soda blasting but I know people blast with walnut shells!
Really interesting watch, you would literally think those parts were new old stock it you hadn't seen them being blasted. Cheers 👍 Jack
Best thing i found to clean old parts is a tub full of paint thinner and a plastic brush, it removes old oil like nothing, and old paint, but it does not remove corrosion like you had on those aluminium parts. But give thinner a go
I'm always interested in how things work and done, find it really interesting and informative . Great thanks.
Great video rob ,and thanks for spending the time and effort to boost the content.

Oddly satisfying video blooming mental how well them parts cleaned up
Rob - keep making these detail videos - they go alongside the "in garage" ones so well - another great video
Hi Rob hope you can show chris welding the sheet metal. It's not easy, it can warp if not done right. I don't think viewers can get arc eye from watching a screen.
Sierra Whiskey no they can’t but it’s impossible to show it as it’s to bright 👍

And me...
Hi Rob, I'm guessing that this process, vapour blasting, is only good for non ferrous materials as it is basically wet blasting, media and water? Regards Mark.
Excellent content buddy just starting up my channel so a bit rough at moment
The Range Rover is coming along nicely. In interested to know what else needs done engine wise? Are you leaving it in or taking it out at all?
Haroosh20 were still undecided 👍
salvage rebuilds uk yes if you don’t need to then I guess it saves a lot of time and effort. My Dad has an old 300tdi disco for a long time and the old RR looks really similar under the body work.
Haroosh20 they are the same car More or less 👍
Soda and vapour blasting made the parts come up nice 😎👌
Good video again today Rob , but I'm more interested in what's under the red cover ? 🤔
Chainsaw Charlie my Ferrari 👍
Nice job Rob. It looks mint
So now you had a good turn around on the Honda are you guys now looking for another bike project ?
I just love that blasted soda!
Get a notification, obviously watch immediately. What a difference!
Gary Smith it shocked me 👍
how is a v5 applied for a car with no v5 from copart Rob? ive seen you mention that before like how long does it take and what needs to be done?
Adeaiva Jose fill in a v62 form and send it to Dvla takes up to 6 weeks
Cool nice to see it coming along
Could you clear coat those parts to stop them oxidising?
coom0004 possibly mate
Very interesting Rob, as always.
Another really interesting video, the content is spot on Rob, roll on the next video 👍
Wow that’s come up lovely great video again mate
Fantastic video rob as always I was thinking couldn’t you just get some heat resistant lacquer and spray that on the covers
you could also bolt the roof off for painting and headliner while you’re in there?
x-alt headline video will be in the near future 👍
Does he do soda blasting on 60 year old toenails could do with refurb , impressed with quality of finish of alloy castings , top job .
