Nice indeed. Great waves. We had 8-10 ft at o e if my locals this morn. Big fat A frames. Water is filthy tho due to a major flooding event the past two weeks. Too dangerous due to pollution and sewerage.

Great surfing in some really decent looking waves. I got a kick out of seeing you surfing in trunks and watching a local kid walking by in a full suit and hood.

As entertaining as ever Rick. Don't you just love people that haven't a clue what's going on around them. No different in the UK :O). You need to compile a video of your best wipeouts as we all need a laugh in these strange times.

I like that idea.... I toyed with it in this video a bit, but it was growing too long, so I cut most.

Flow 2.0 has been turning out to be a really fun board, and I am close to having enough of a feel for it to do a review.
When I watched the videos from the good days, I did notice some things that I want to check out a bit more.
It looked like it was a bit stiffer through turns than it felt at the time.... not sure, so I need a few more sessions in good waves.
I am throughly enjoying it... fast and easy.

Wednesday was amazing... too bad that the only good break was at a beach that is very weird to film at.
It was the most fun small waves I have surfed here in 3 winters..... I wish I got more footage!!

ha ha.... WRONG!
Literally the best wave around me.... but I almost never surf there because filming is really uncomfortable.
I will usually only film on cold, overcast mornings.... but these waves were too good, so I took the chance.
I set up in plain sight, on an empty stretch of beach.... then they chose to sit 10' in front of my tripod, and then get all huffy about it 🤣
They told the poor guy next to it that they were going to throw my camera in the ocean.
When I got out, I walked up, put the camera away and hung out with a friend for 20 minutes.... no one said a peep to me.
The next day I drove 1.5 hours to another good break, just to avoid the whole situation again.

Actually, I doo want to come down there and enjoy a day watching the goings on.... but in that vid, I was surfing further north.
My habit is not to disclose locations, or even hint at them.... but that towel caper was just too good to leave out 🤣

I have been surfing non-stop since 1964, so I have some built in comfort in the water.
Keeping it smooth as I age requires experimenting with how I approach waves, plus different boards and fins until I find a happy place.
I have actually rebuilt my style since turning 70 gave me the bobbles. I have to keep my flow smooth or I stutter and wobble.
I love the challenge of my own high expectations to keep this going!
