fluffheadish this is such a deep comment on such a shallow level (mean that in a good way). You barley said anything and it means a ton.. and I know what you mean. We’re so lucky. They’re indescribable.
wow... beautiful... as a hardcore grateful dead fan exploring and doing a deeper dive on phish i LOVE this tune and LOVE the energy and vibe of these '95 shows. cool the dead played at pershing in like '73... this lifeboy kinda summoned the spirit. so good.
I was 5th row center and it was one of those nights that left everyone, the band included, totally astonished at what went down. The look of amazement on everyone's faces will forever be etched in the deepest parts of my mind. Unbelievable show start to finish! THANK YOU PHISH
They played this at my very first show on 7/9/94 and I never caught it again. Beautiful, very underrated song. Up there with Fast Enough For You as my favorite Phish ballad.
The other day this song came to my mind and it gave me the most wonderful chills ever. There is just some music that gets to you, and it isn't always about the lyrics. The guitar work on this song is simply divine.
drove to denver just in time to get in the show...this lifeboy, this entire show, was massive for me. I recall walking out of the venue with tons of steam coming out of the doors from the heat inside. this moment though was surreal.
No, it was red - more like a long-sleeved T-shirt. This was in Lincoln, where the Univ. of Nebraska is and a mile from the venue, Nebraska was playing it's Homecoming game in an early winter storm during a season they went on to win the national championship. Football is the bigest thing in the state (the stadium becomes the 3rd largest city in the state on game day). Trey put on a red shirt and Phish played one of their best shows and downtown Lincoln was a mass of insanity like I've never seen. Fans of football and Phish took over the streets downtown - instead of cars, there was a mass of partying and the goal posts were dragged into the bar district (O Street). Phish fans were entertained when they left a raging show only to find a party 10 times bigger in the streets to greet them.
@@djsjjd15 Remninds me of the phish show a couple years ago in saint louis when the blues won their first stanley cup. One of the most insane things to walk out of Phish show into.
@@josephjohnson5056 lol! Definitely a weird experience to walk out after a show thinking you just left a raging party and find an even bigger one on city streets! Like you choose the more 'quiet' option, which is the exact opposite of a typical show night

thank you phish. youve made life worth it

God brought Phish into your life, Phish is promoting spirituality by acknowledging they do in fact pray with this song.
Phish has been a legitimate godsend during this fucking god forsaken pandemic.

I was close to you. Dropped a ten strip that night. I was sobbing during this.
Nothing better than being at a show and they drop one of these..........
This is one of the best impactful song I've learned to play on guitar. So much feeling with a big smile on my face!!

This is a great version of a beautiful song. Definitely one of their best. Another wonderful version is from Deer Creek 8/13/96

Pretty bomb I think I got it on live phish somewhere? Everytime police search my car I lose cds
is Trey wearing a fuscia V-neck sweater? I guess 1995 was a real turning point for him style-wise
It was Saturday in Lincoln the whole town was red
