  • This is a compilation of all the videos dad and me did rescuing the 1946 international. This build did more for the channel than any other singular video or car. Again this is not new content but it is the entire process we did to the truck in 1 video. This is probably 8 months worth of work. Enjoy.

This is a compilation of 7 videos dad and me did on this truck. The first video was posted August of 2022, the last was June of 2023, 10 months. The audio quality might not be that good because this was when I was first starting UA-cam and I hadn’t bought a good mic yet so you’ll have to excuse the poor sound quality

Dang travis good job! I love this! I have a huge heart for bringing these old forgotten girls back to life. I brought back my 1956 F100 after sitting for 44 years. I daily drive her now. Over 1k miles on her.
The cool thing is you are doing this with your dad. Im jealous of that for sure. I was not raised by a father to help and teach me.

    * This was the project that drew me to your channel. Still can't believe you guys saved that truck buried in that backyard. Nice to see the playlist style vid on it. You need to work some oil or grease between the spring leaves and grease all the zurks and bushing under that old gal. Cheers Gentlemen ! 👊😎👍

I just had to make one more comment to say that I have enjoyed this video more than any that I have watched in 2 years! Maybe it was because I grew up with them old trucks! Dad had 2 trucks over the years that I would like to have back. One is the kb1 like yours and he had a 1936 half ton international. Thank you for the memories!

What a neat old truck-- literally brought back to life as we watch! I'm sure I'm not the only one who said (when we first saw the truck buried up to the running boards in someone's back yard): that's just a parts rig, and there aren't a whole lot of parts to salvage! Just goes to show you what hard work and determination can do for you. I especially like seeing you and your Dad working together. Makes me miss my Dad just a little bit more... Good job, Travis!

Wow you guys find some cool rigs.
    That front grill, beautiful style.
Those old flat heads pretty robust old girls.
Thing I love the most is the room in the engine bay. You could host a dinner party in there.
Grab yourself a dolly and hammer set to do your panel dents, much better than just smashing it with hammers and wood.

With regard to copper brake fitting washers: You can anneal the washers with a propane torch. Heat them until the color starts to change, then let them cool. This softens the copper and provides a chance for a better seal.
I’ve done this for years. It’s never failed to work.
Great video! You guys are really cool, but get them damn bow ties on the hub caps painted over!

Great video. This old 46 is exactly the same truck that my dad owned when I was a little kid. I remember standing up in the seat while riding around the farm with him.
Dad's 46 had a big dent in the left front fender that he brush painted the wrong color, but not as bad as the fenders on your truck.
I hope you can get a professional body man to fix the fenders without mud, and make a video about it. The truck is definitely worth it. I loved every minute !!! Three cheers...
