Loving prince Cardan is a personality trait at this point. Especially after reading how the prince of elfhame learned how to hate stories. By the end of the series I just wanted to squeeze him like a stuffed toy 🧸
I’m embarrassed to say I loved him very early on in the book🤣😅❣️ OOOO I will defs be reading that once I finish the series!!
I agree 100% about hearing casual, modern language in books. It just feels... off. Haha
So happy you finally picked up the Cruel Prince!! It is one of my favorite trilogies. Jude is just incredible and I am also a BIG Carden lover 😅

So true about HP, the first 2 are children's books, #3 is a bit darker, then 4 on everything changes theme wise

Jude and Cardan are both so great. The series is definitely more political fantasy rather than romantasy. But I do enjoy the romance that is in it. I feel like you will enjoy the rest of the series.

Sounds like a great reading month, even without any 5 stars! Definitely need to get to lots of these at some point, especially One Dark Window and Bringing Down the Duke but we already know this 😂 I’m filming my May wrap up soon but my favorites were Funny Story and The Familiar! ❤️

I read Before We Were Strangers last year, I loved it so much I read it in one sitting😭. I love the cover too and didn't like the twist in the end, it was unnecessary really.
You just convinced me to read The Cruel Prince after its been on my tbr since 2021 when it was so hyped (I just kind of forgot about it lol). Its your reviews, they're so genuine and I love that spark you have when you talk about books💝 so comforting, non-judgemental and open to new ideas, very much like the feeling I get when I watch Jack Edwards.

I don't think you'd like my accent because many people don't like bradford accents that live in the uk. This might sound a bit random but personally, I love a good Coventry or an Irish accent as I think it sounds beautiful. I want to hopefully relocate one day so my accent changes and mainly to experience new amazing cultures
The way that I know what a Bradford accent sounds like purely cuz Zayn is from there I think 🤣 Omg yes Irish accents are so dreamy! Jealous of anyone that has one

I have finished reading Before we were strangers last week , thanks to your last vlog I was convinced to buy it , the cover was just so pretty ❤😊and I enjoyed it very much ! And for White nights , I just couldn't I put in my to be continued list I just wasn't in the mood for it 😢😅, and I've already read crime and punishment it was good ! ❤ I dont really remember the sélection very well but I enjoyed it ! You MUST finish the folk of the air serie it's just ...🤌🤌 anyways glad you had à good read month as I did too ! Love your vlogs❤
