I'm so curious what it'd be like to read OUABH before Caraval. And unpopular opinion but Caraval was actually my favorite of all of the 6 books. I liked Legendary too though.

And that mode of transport only worked with those one had known a significant time”. Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow was one of the most unique books I’ve ever read. This is not a light book but if you give it your attention you will certainly appreciate it. This book follows decades of friendship, love, grief and creativity. There are layers within this book and the character development is very deep. I will say there is a lull in the middle but it picks right back up again and pulls you in even deeper. There are some very unique chapters towards the end as well as very important messages from experiences and views from the early 2000s. As seen here, the quotes throughout are extremely thought provoking. This book is absolutely worth reading. Prepare for laughter at character banter, empathy for mental health and inability to communicate one’s true thoughts, love for found family and our elders, creative inspiration and appreciation for the gaming industry as an art form and overall love in all of its forms. “This life is filled with inescapable moral compromises. We should do what we can to avoid the easy ones."

I'm so excited for you to read Caraval! I have the series but haven't read it yet. I read Once Upon A Broken Heart, and since then, Stephanie Garber has been my fabourite authour, and the OUABH series has been my favourite series!

I have also been stalling on Tomorrowx3 even though it’s right up my alley based on the summary. I read Anxious People by Fredrik Backman and really enjoyed it!

I’ll be reading Beartown in October too!! It will be a re-read, I loved this book so much and can’t wait to continue the series this fall. It’s heavy but so good. I am scared to start the magnolia parks series because it's supposed to be a very toxic, miscommunication series that i don't know if I'll enjoy. I read happy place and felt the same way that you did but you adore the magnolia series SO I hope to pick it up soon and fall in love with if. I'm a very new reader and you're the first person I've related to completely when it comes to book taste, so I just your opinions. I love your channel sm ❤️

Tomorrow Tomorrow Tomorrow is a beautiful book about Friendship! There is so much love between the main characters, but it is not a romance! It was the first book I read this year and I still think about it. It is also the first book that I annotated because there were just such beautiful quotes in there on how funny/beautiful/mysterious life is. I think social media has really hyped up fantasy, smut and romance, that were there is none of the three people automatically rate the book low, which is so sad

Bear town was a 6 star for me but I would defs not say it’s cosy & comforting - it’s better than you could ever expect though 🩷🩷

tomorrow x3 is my favorite book of all time! the writing is remarkable and you’ll attach to the characters quickly! it’s beautiful

Totally agree on the Infernal Devices! It’s just so amazing and it’s the best series to start into the whole universe and Cassandra Clare’s writing. You should really read the Mortal Instruments, it’s not as emotional and great as TID but it’s also just so amazing and you will love the characters!!

Tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow is one of my fav books ever!!! It's just so beautifully written, I couldn't put it down. It's the only book I've ever reread, and no book I've read after was able to make me feel the way this one did.

Have you read the Twisted Tales series? I believe there’s a Beauty and the Beast one. And the thing with this series is, it’s a twisted take on the Disney movies!

Laugh out loud funny and restored faith in humans is the opposite of how I would describe beartown haha! I gave it 5 stars, but I seriously wanted to walk in to beartown and slap everyone hard across the face haha! Also I commented on your last video that I really hoped for tomorrow to get drawn for the tbr! One of my all time favourites! 😍

I just read Caraval and Legendary and I really enjoyed them! I devoured each book in 2 days because i was so invested. I’m starting the 3rd book now and already loving it ❤ I’m looking forward to you reading it!

i read tomorrowx3 last month and it was one of the best reading experience i've had in 2024. i'm not a game person at all, but this book got me hooked from the very start. it really is about so much more than just video games. the many topics discussed in this book are those things any adult could easily resonate with. i didn't know that there are bad sentiments toward this book recently until now, and i definitely hope you can go into this book unaffected by those voices, just like i did!

I loove Caraval so much. I read it before ouabh but the second book Legendary was amazing and was definitely my favorite. Can't wait to see you read your tbr next month Sarah!!❤❤❤

I loved Tomorrowx3!! I read it in january but i still think about it all the time. The characters are very flawed and it’s not happy healthy relationships, and maybe that’s what people don’t like about it but I loved that. Planning on rereading it soon. Also read Beartown and it was really good! I felt the first half was bit slow and just character building, but when I read the second half I understood why he spend so much time setting it up.

I'm soooo excited to see Annie Ernaux's book in your TBR. I am a huge fan of hers, and her novels are some of most favorite ones of ALL TIME.

So apparently Tomorrow x3 is controversial because the author is an alleged Zionist. There were also reports of her having plagiarized a game designer’s work. I haven’t read the book myself, although I do have it. This is just what I’ve heard.

Beauty and the beast is one of my fav too! 😍 Caraval is on my fall tbr! (I haven’t read ouabh yet) Ps. I’ve just finished The infernal devices series and OMG I cried so much!! 😭 the epilogue of Clockwork princess.. is the perfect ending for me! 😭🩷
