It makes me feel sick. No way other homeowners didn't hear them sounding off. Her kids probably went to school with the ones who set the fire.
People don't know how to be responsible. We were better off keeping them illegal, and going to the pyrotechnic shows, done by professionals with the fire fighters waiting nearby.

I am against selling fireworks to people. People are getting more and more careless and it's not just kids. We have neighbors who get their hands on m-80 fireworks which are deemed illegal to sell and use in the US but since we live right next to Mexico they are able to get them. Last night we had our neighbor setting off a few. It's getting ridiculous it's not just kids. Don't put blame on just kids nowadays.

From people losing their homes, people losing their limbs, and even fireworks displays that fly out into the spectators. It happens multiple times, each and every year, all around the country. Some are unfortunate accidents, whereas others are the result of nothing more than stupidity.

I hate fireworks. They terrify my dogs and I cant stand the noise. If I work on the 4th I always leave work by 9:30pm so I can be home. This year we had a family lose their home and we had a historic building burn to the ground, all because of irresponsible people.
Fireworks aren't permitted in our town limits but people set them off anyway. Whats really ridiculous is that they aren't permitted yet people are allowed to set up firework stands in town to sell them.
I also don't care for fireworks. Quadcopter drone displays are a better, safer, more environmentally friendly option, imo.

this holiday sucks, triggers veterans PTSD and a lot of people cannot for the life of them practice safety measures when shooting fireworks.
It triggers COPD as well. Toxic air. Most are made in China. It is a waste of money. It is a health and safety concern all around.

I never like to be far from home on the 4th of July because the police will no longer bust people doing illegal fireworks. I watched them drive right past illegal fireworks being shot in the middle of a main street several times. They did nothing. When you have all those animals, you need to stay home to protect them on 4th of July especially when you already had a house go up the same way. People are irresponsible jerks on holidays, never thinking about what their actions could cause.

This means no bottle rockets, among other things. With fireworks comes dangers, captain Keller recommends you only light fireworks on concrete no less then 20 feet from dry brush, also have a bucket and a water hose nearby.

Outlaw fireworks, period!!!! I only have one pet, and never leave on the Fourth in fear someone is going to shoot a firework on to my house or property! I can't imagine leaving your house to go to a party , especially with that many animals.

When I was little, I wasn't allowed to leave the sight of adults when handling fireworks. These days, parents don't GaF.
I do the sparklers, right over my pool and put them out in a bucket of water. Just sparklers and I'm still very careful.

Isn't it disturbing? The state I live in doesn't allow anything that explodes or leaves the ground. However, the state next to use sells everything. We have a huge growth of people from the West and East coast states. Ever since, the 4th is like a War zone. We have had barley fields burn, hay barns, homes.... but people do not care. It amazes me that these people move to other states and don't respect the people that already live there. There needs to be harsher punishments for people that cause damage. In my state, a wildfire is a very dangerous thing and will cost millions in damages.

By the looks of the unburned side, a considerable amount of trash, pallets, debris, and weeds surrounding their home reminds us that we must cut down all the weeds that grow after our Spring rains. This was a powder keg waiting to catch fire. Like many fires, this tragedy could have been avoided if they had maintained their yard.
This is the very reason why Arizona should never legalized the sale and use of fireworks. The excuse was,look at all the tax money we will make. I have set up hoses in my yard and had to put out an alley fire because of neighbors fireworks. This is not a joke to be shrugged off. If I lose property I'm going after state legislators who approved this money grab. When will this be outlawed?.....RF
As someone else stated, stay home on July 4th to protect your home and your life and don't even think about setting those things off. If they'd been home they could have possibly stopped this tragedy. I stay home more nowadays. It's just safer. Fireworks and gender reveal parties should be banned altogether. It has cost people their lives and or homes. Is it really worth it. I don't think so. Because so many gender reveal parties have resulted in deaths the lady who started it said she wished she had never come up with the idea
Gender Reveal parties are the dumbest things ever, and far too many of them end up in large forest fires/grass fires.

Up here, our entire neighborhood started up the colourful ordinance festivities on June 28th, and every night right through July 2nd before all the ammo was exploded!
In Canada, July 1st is basically up to a week long explosion fest depending where you live, yet we've never had a single fire in our area... maybe we're just responsible & take extra caution with them?! (...Toronto though still has dozens of idiot teens playing "fireworks wars" shooting the things off at each other and random people/homes)
