Soundracks 0:01 - 0:29 Journey to Hogwarts (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) 0:30 - 2:23 A Window to the past (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Akzaban)
we just vlogged on this but I love that you matched the shots. Great place to visit if you love Harry Potter. We must be muggles too as the castle wasn't there ;)
Hi Karl, Again a spectacular video !! Very inspiring.. Looking forward for your next series, please try uploading more often. And thanks a lot for your reply in the previous video. I will definitely be travelling on my own next year. Cheers !
it'sjairo Alnwick Castle, Northumberland, England. Alnwick Castle is the location used for Hogwarts Castle in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.' It has been featured in other famous films as well, like 'Elizabeth' and 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.' Hope this helps to answer your question
Bisal Dhakal actually it's Glen Coe. Shot: Glen Coe was used to film multiple scenes. It is the location of Hagrid's Hut, the bridge leading to the entrance of Hogwarts, and some scenes were also filmed at the nearby lake. Fact: In Scottish history Glen Coe is known as "the glen of tears".

For some reason this video makes me really sad and nostalgic, it's also weird to see such familiar landscapes "empty" (wihout the castle and other stuff that we know from the film). Thanks for posting guys 🙏
Honestly...your Videos dont get the attention they should! Awesome work! Now i feel the need to capture my upcoming trip to Vietnam! :D Greetings from Germany. #breakyourboundries #cheers
Awesome! Final Cut Pro is what I have always used in work and college but need something for my personal use. Downloading the free trial now :) Thanks!
I found out recently that I have Scottish ancestry and am proud of that. It was very exciting to learn Harry Potter was filmed in Scotland. When I eventually visit this will be on my list. Thank you for the video :)

THANK YOU. Chamber is easily the most underrated HP movie. It is my 2nd least favourite book, but my favourite movie in the series. Prisoner is the best, but Chamber is my fav Also appreciate the Dead Poets Society reference in your username :)
It's the rise of the Jacobites area so we don't want to turn our historical sites into a Hollywood attraction for a children's movie. Respect our ancestors, thank you very much.
+Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries oh well 😊 good to hear. I have got inspired to travel more after watching a couple of your videos. "We travel not to escape life, but life to not escape us "
RuralAccent Woodcraft The correct pronunciation of the ch sound doesn't come naturally to an English speaker so he has every right to pronounce it like that, as do most scots. Also, a loch is the Scottish word for lake so he has every right to call it a lake too.
Absolute rubbish. Most Scots pronounce 'loch' correctly. And whether or not he is from Scotland, it is ignorant and arrogant to make no effort to pronounce our place-names correctly. The sound is not hard if you try...problem is, most don't bother to try. If you're talking about Scottish places, use the correct terminology. In Scotland, they're called lochs. It's not a hard concept to get your head around. Scots don't go to England and call all of the lake there lochs. A bit of respect goes a long way.
Hogwarts was actually there, just isn't visible for muggles because I could see it
- Y.Khalifa.Gamer - hahaahahahaha 😂 lmao!
I can see it
U r not a witch
U r a bitch
It can’t be there because JK Rowling states that muggles see ruins where hogwarts is. So it’s not there because as far as I know, there is no ruin
- YK - I could see it
The intro of the video makes me feel... I can't describe the feeling...
Only who love Harry Potter world will feel it

Chamber of Secrets is the most underrated. That and Prisone of Azkaban are my favourite
Great... I've been wandering what was the exact location of Hogwarts... You guys seem to have found it... Thanks...
Loch Shiel is absolutely stunning, and when I'm going (soon) I'm definitely taking some pics in the style of Harry Potter.
Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries I want to go here really bad, but I wish that the main castle was real :/ (digitally added)
Gorgeous landscape. Other worldly.
I almost teared up... HP is my childhood ❤ thank you so much for this beautiful video
Nice video, I really like this Chanel and I hope it will continue making videos forever.
Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries what is the name of the song that plays at the beginning of the video?

Just when I though Chamber of Secrets was starting to get some love...
Yes great movie
I went on the train going over the viaduct last week was really cool
Beautiful place the magic of beauty and serenity exist there.
Packing my bags to Scotland

You could see it your a freaking Muggle stupid
Thanks for uploading - I totally want to see it for real myself 😍😍😍😘
Could anyone else see Hogwarts in the distance when he couldn’t?
No where is it?
@@yassified6871 I'm afraid mere muggles cannot see it.
Would have imagined it or going there
Honestly...your Videos dont get the attention they should! Awesome work! Now i feel the need to capture my upcoming trip to Vietnam! :D Greetings from Germany. #breakyourboundries #cheers
When i'm older i'm building Hogwarts riight there I don'tEven Care how much it cost no ones stopping me - Fawkes the bird Copy paste spread the word
Μου αρέσει το μπουζούκι I'll help you with some cash
the exterior will be around 260 million and thats without anything inside
With you man 👊👊

I support you, but you have to send me my Hogwarts Acceptance Letter as soon as possible 😂😂
What's the name of the song that plays in the begging of the video?
Share that google map location! Of everything please! The school,.... Diagon alley, ...
this is really cool! seriously!
Is it possible to hike over to the actual mountain where Hogwarts stands?
I went to the same exact location, but for the movie Highlander :)
What is the Exact location and how do you get there
@@christinesierra6584 Just head for the Glenfinnan Visitor Centre. We got there by car
That’s the only reason I would visit due to the Highlander connection and not Harry Potter.
As a car tour, don't you wish you could have hired a pale blue Ford Anglia?
Hi Karl, where did you park at loch Eilt when visiting the Island please?
how cool! i wonder how cold the water is...
oh how times have changed!
Ive been too the bridge. But never knew the lake was also in the movie😂 thanks for the video mate
What stop on the train you get off ? What’s the location
Вдруг, за этими горами и находится замок. Ван лав. I like Harry Potter
1:05 is that HOGWARTS???
I am not lying guys..
Maybe its a tree.. but??
I would really like to know the name of the song that plays in the beginning of the VIDEO!!
The second location was also used in Martin Garrix :Forever song ♥
Nice video but the reason you didn’t see the castle is because it has enchantments on it to become invisible to muggles. Lol
Wizardry is real? I thought it was but I wasn’t sure, I’ve never seen magic in real life
MelloLou it may be real but no one knows
Finally, I found out where the real Hogwarts was
Btw who is watching this in 2020?
Yes sirr
is it ever warm enough to swim?
It is Scotland
Freaking awesome!! I'm joining you next time!!
Hey , I'll be using this video for a blog on HPA.
Hello harry potter amino👀💞
So cool! Definitely want to go there some day! Hope you don't mind me asking what video editing software you use? I'm looking to get one :) Thanks
Awesome! Final Cut Pro is what I have always used in work and college but need something for my personal use. Downloading the free trial now :) Thanks!
OMG 😮 i wish i can visit there someday. Location ?
I found out recently that I have Scottish ancestry and am proud of that. It was very exciting to learn Harry Potter was filmed in Scotland. When I eventually visit this will be on my list. Thank you for the video :)

"Chamber of secrets. Which is the worst of the films" Me: Oh no you didn't :O
THANK YOU. Chamber is easily the most underrated HP movie. It is my 2nd least favourite book, but my favourite movie in the series. Prisoner is the best, but Chamber is my fav

Im sure only wizards can see hogwarts it is invincible for muggles
It's actually so that muggles can't see Hogwarts, instead they see Dangerous ruins that are marked as too dangerous to explore
XXHACKERXX hunter yeah
Invincible lol, invisible*
Did he just say the second was the worst?!
How much longer until Canada trip video
I will go there I mean that place in Scotland 😊😊😊😊
Hogwarts is invisible for muggles, damn I wish they invented wizard contacts.
So they build a castle for one movie
Long before Harry Potter was filmed a legendary film called Highlander was filmed in places like Loch Shiel…
What happens to hog warts when brexit and Scotland rejoins euro?
Tiger Warz ohhhh I don’t know about that.
It will continue not existing.
This is way too short
2019?????
what if Hogwarts is right there, just invisible to us O.O
nice work!
Only wizards can see Hogwarts School. not for Muggles
What are you talking about, Hogwarts is right there, I can see it
thats ma country~
if i was a billionaire i would have built a real life Hogwarts at that location with real life moving staircase.
I’m going!
I know you're joking but it's a really treasured area in scotland so pls make it out of cardboard so we can move it once you're done lmao
Good thing billionaires can't destroy all natural landscapes. You can't built whatever you want there even with all the money in the world.
It's the rise of the Jacobites area so we don't want to turn our historical sites into a Hollywood attraction for a children's movie.
Respect our ancestors, thank you very much.
wait. Did he just say chamber of secrets is the worst movie? :/
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
You didn't sound impressed at all :( thanks for the vlogg!
+Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries oh well 😊 good to hear. I have got inspired to travel more after watching a couple of your videos. "We travel not to escape life, but life to not escape us "
We just can't see it cus we are muggles
All such a disappointment to know it was never there.
I hate this world.
How can Harry Potter and the chamber secrets the worst
Brush build the castle with everything in the movies
Manda ubi
You’re a muggle because you couldn’t see it
Mate you serious? Chamber of Secrets was the best
You do a video on film locations in Scotland, pronounce 'loch' as lock and then call the loch a lake. What a load of absolute guff.

RuralAccent Woodcraft You wouldn't go to Italy to visit Lago di Como, you'd just call it a lake
If that is so then you must be surrounded by a lot of dummies .
Muggle xd
how cool! i wonder how cold the water is...
Can someone please tell me what is the name of the song that plays at the beginning of the VIDEO!?
