Man, Texas A&M started a lot of true freshmen on defense in this game. The Aggies are fortunate that they stayed close in the game to a team that averaged over 29 points a game in the regular season.
What a game for the Oklahoma State Cowboys as the team went out and played their hearts out and gave everything they had. As for Ollie Gordon II, the Doak Walker Award winner, he added 118 yards rushing to finish the season with 2,062 yards of offense. Alan Bowman had 402 yards passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Brennan Presley tied a school record with 16 receptions and also had 152 yards receiving. Congratulations on Oklahoma State for their win tonight!!!🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈

It wasn’t thatttt bad, it’s wasn’t a heck of a throw but that was a very long pass to a small receiver
All snark aside, losing the QB on the first play of scrimmage absolutely sucks. I hope he makes a full recovery and gets a chance to show everyone what he can do.

The TD/INT ratio wasn't good because Bowman sucks. It has nothing to do with Ollie. Ollie didn't force Bowman to just chuck the ball straight into a DB's hands. Passing yardage means absolutely nothing without TDs. He's a high volume stat padder. Big deal. He can't finish drives and needs a world class RB to do it for him otherwise he'd do it himself.
Thr safeties and corners were horrible for a&m.
And Alabama the SEC Champion also lost to the Big12 Champion Texas

4th string QB, walk on DB’s, hardly ANY starters on the field.. A&M did good. Always disappointed with my Aggies but this game I wasn’t. Good job fighting after the 2nd half.

10 win season after losing almost every starter but the O and D line from last year's team. I'd call that a successful year after playing QB carousal and being picked to finish near the bottom in the conference.
Yeah, but you got smashed by South Alabama, UCF, and Texas... lost to ISU and had to cheat to beat OU at home. You shouldn't have even been in the conference championship, but lady luck was in your favor.

Luck is all most teams can count on nowadays with how volatile the NIL, transfer portal and coaching changes are. Rarely both teams are at their best end of season unless they've been extremely lucky.

I think OU and Texas will do fine in the SEC. They don't have defense like they did in previous years. Aside a few programs like Bama, Georgia, and sometimes LSU.... they really aren't much different from the other P5's.
