- Review of the all Gold Luxe Edition Fandu Big Gold World Heavyweight title with Red Crocodile Backing. along with a comparison with the original Fandu Big gold and the WWE big gold World Heavyweight Championship title belt.
It's not supposed to have a logo at all. Definitely isn't missing due to copyright reasons. This is a replica of the Crumrine made title. There was never a logo for it in decades it has existed. Flair debuted that belt in February of 1986. It never had a logo, ever.. until WWE made their own version of the Big Gold, and added a WWE to it.

That would be the one! It started being used I believe during Steiners main event run in WCW, Booker brought it WWF. It also the same one HHH was awarded by Bischoff until WWE made their version.

@@POWERTEAM9988 I have heard that before also! There's the rumor that he brought his cast all gold copy, and swapped them out to keep the original. Although, now Conrad Thompson, Ric Flairs son in law, and huge Podcaster, owns the original crumrine.

That was my intro to the big gold belt as well. When I think of the big gold belt, what comes to mind is Booker T, Triple H, The Rock and when Chris Jericho won both the WCW and WWF/E titles to become the undisputed champion.

The original Crumrine big gold had plates that were only like one millimeter thick. They were actually pretty thin plates, just big and full of detail.

In my opinion Fandu can only make amazing plates but leather work is not good
Go to Stephen Hammer's youtube page he can recommend some good places that re-leather.
Those NWA and WCW one's are way better looking than wwe's version of that design

Nice looking big Golds
The sizes and leather cuts are accurate on both the luxe and the wweshop tho, I wouldn't re leather it personally I think it looks great. For the luxe, it's exactly how Rock had it and also how it was when Triple H re-debuted it. The tapered strap came in around the late 2000's when the belt was re-casted. Each his own tho brother, I'm hoping to get a dual luxe sometime next year! Thanks for the insight into these awesome belts.
The tapered strap debuted in 2003 at Wrestlemania 19. There's a match from May 19th 2003 where Triple H wrestled Ric Flair. Afterwards Austin announced Nash vs Triple H hell in a cell for Bad Blood 2003. There's a shot of Triple H with his back to the camera and the belt over his shoulder. You can see that the strap is tapered by the snap boxes.

I don't know if you still have the Fandu Luxe but if you do in the year plus you've had it have you had any tarnish on the plates apparently that's an issue with Fandu plates

WWE shop definitely does not do that built justice. Probably done that way intentionally since it wasn't one of his belts.
Personally I'm not a fan of the crumrine big gold championship. The floral design on the plates is too gaudy. Looks like something a filthy rich person might wear for a necklace. But the wcw big gold championship from wwe shop with the flat center plate. That is perfect. The floral design isn't over the top

The real belt was 4.42mm thick.

If it's heavy and leather with real plates no plastic to it then that's an real belt to me vs having plastic belts and they feel crap and easy to destroy.

Got to admit, the leather and stitching looks awful! The shape is still closer to the WWE than the Crumrine, but the details come from the OG, so it’s bit of a bastard belt.
Faux leather is more durable and will last longer
