Weirdly enough this was the song that got me into Goose back around 2019-2020. I love the chorus so much lol. I remember cruising around Burlington, VT jamming to this song still not too familiar with the band. Began listening to some of their other songs and was definitely a fan on the periphery, then came that set on top of Rockefeller Plaza (I believe) in NYC for Christmas of 2020 if my memory serves me right. I was a full on fan from that moment on. It’s wild how far they came so quickly. I recall a local band from upstate NY playing with them in small bars back in 2016/2017 era and they were nowhere near as fleshed out of a band. Add a few more years of practice, a couple new members and you have one of the hottest bands on the circuit! They definitely weren’t an “overnight sensation” but they definitely blew up quickly once they began to make the right moves. So happy for them. Happy the new lineup is working for them and the fans are digging it as well. Wish all involved with the band prior and current the best. You guys are the shining light on the jam scene that we’ve been looking for for years! I can’t recall the last band to burst on the scene quite like Goose. I’d say moe. Umphrey’s, Lettuce… idk. Hard to compare what they’re doing for the scene outside of making the dangerous comparison to another animal named band that will inevitably get you into hot water if you ever say it out loud lol.
This night was phenomenal love this Time to Flee opener and the Animal encore was great- Goose was on fire both nights at Thompson's Point -please come back for 3 nights next summer
