While shopping with my mom recently we saw these beautiful canvas pieces that I just has to attempt to DIY. The canvases were burlap but I didn't have any burlap canvases so I made my own. Hope you enjoy.

Absolutely gorgeous. My sister-in-law was an antique dealer for awhile and found a lovely baby picture on a wood barn board that's well over 100 years old. This reminds me of that minus the glltter and burlap. She has it hung on her wall. There's so many possibilities with this. I just love it.
The silver makes it look more "magical"! Beautiful!!
Oh Maymay.....you're my hero again. I have that same paper pad. My daughter and I were so concerned about using the pages with the larger images on them for scrapbook pages, because the image would get covered. I now know what to do to use those beautiful papers. Those easels, even using everyday papers instead of Christmas, would make such wonderful gifts for family and friends. Thank you for this video!
I put in art with scrapbook paper ,a million things came up but only yours helped me!!It was exactly what I was looking for thank you so much and I hope my projects turn out half as beautiful as yours! You are very talented and I also am very impatient! Thanks again!!!!
May this is the first time that I have watched one of your videos. Im all about mixed media and altered art. I love this creation of yours!!! It's so awesome!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!! You have a fan for life!! PS, I love listening to your southern accent!!! I am in Florida but we aren't considered southern. And I just love listening to someone from the "south". Your adorable!!!
I love that distress picture of Santa and you did a great job with the glitter for highlighting
I know this is an older video. I just stumbled across it. And I couldn't leave without saying, how beautiful this is!! Wanna try and make one for each of my girls next year! Truly, this is one of my favorite tutorials!! TFS... Hugs 💕 ~Suzy~
This is absolutely STUNNING! Isn’t it funny how the thing that we never intended to use to begin with (silver glitter) ends up just making the piece! I wasn’t quite sure during the process but the further along in the video, the more it really became what you wanted. I love this! Thanks for sharing and Be Blessed! ❤️
I just came across this project of yours. Wow how beautiful it is and it gave me so many other great ideas. Thank you for showing us how you did it and the finished project is just gorgeous. You are one very talented lady and I am so glad I have found your videos and site you have inspired me in so many ways.
I stumbled across this and love it. I love Christmas and will watch anything pertaining to it all year round, movies, etc. Great Job!!!
Wow! That's stunning!
You used several elements that I wouldn't have chosen myself, but I sure can't argue with the outcome. Perfection.
You knocked another one out of the park. 👍🏻
This is awesome. You can see how much thought you put into it and it's well worth it x
This is so beautiful. I love the old antique look you put on it with all the distressing. I'll have to try to make this.
Wow I'm not a card maker or really a paper crafter but that was so easy you give the best instructions and I love the things you creative people create in your minds they're absolutely beautiful thank you for sharing. I want to run to the store and go buy stuff right now
You Never cease to Amaze me. What a beautiful masterpiece; the end result is Stunning.
Its 2018, and I just found this...but its still incredible! Just a beautiful project. There are many beautiful gift bags out there now that would work so well for this project!
What a gorgeous fun project to ramp up Christmas decor and also would make an awesome GIFT.
I LOVE this!! I would never have thought to distress the paper with water - would have thought the paper would have curled - but it distressed the edges so nicely. This is a beautiful canvas.
This is so gorgeous and expensive looking. Way to go. Brilliant job!
Most of what I do is printed as finished project. I am always searching for a way to transfer to some other surface. Enjoy watching your easy-crafting ideas. Thanks for posting.
You are so unbelievably talented. I love it.
I loved this the first time I watched it, and this time I caught the fact that you used your bottled glitter glue by painting it on with a brush.... genius! Thanks again for sharing your project and techniques!
SO very pretty! I can't wait to find me a piece of scrapbook paper to do that with!
Maymay, OMG, Love this! About 5 or 6 years ago, I did something similar. I wanted a very old and worn look. I love mixed media and did it on an 8 x 8 canvas. I used the same paper and got a totally different look. I will post it on the new page. I love, love, love yours on the burlap!

MayMay this is absolutely gorgeous!!! You did a fantastic job on this! Love love love it!
Oh how I envy your 'just go for it' attitude. I have been sitting on my thrifty finds forever, it seems, because I'm just too scared I will make something awful. Yours always turn out so beautiful... thanks for the courage to give my stash a second look this year!!
Brooks CM Just go for it, it is only paper right? That is how I see it, there is always more paper.
That is gorgeous! I love it. I am going to have to try this one of these days. Probably not this year, but hopefully next.
This turned out so nice.
Just stunning!!! Can you say Christmas gifts!! I have most of this in my stash, even that paper. I'm going to start today!! Thank you so much for this amazing idea Amy. Mimi
Mimi Zabela This would be an awesome gift, can you imagine doing this with a family photo, I think it would be cool.
Love this tutorial. I need to see what i have in my paper for Gingerbread to add one to my kitchen. One way to really smooth that top is to lay a sheet of waxtex over the top then use a wallpaper paddle to get a nice 'squeegie'. Another thing would be to use an old credit card. will let you know when I get mine done. Creative Blessings!
I love this, I have wanted to make this since last year but I can't find a picture anywheres. Where did you get yours?
Wonderful job love the glitter TFS
