    If you want more from this dream bike then you should definitely head over to the Shannons Insurance channel and watch the full 6 part series - from hunting down the rust bucket at the back of the shed through to test ride and the final reveal. You can follow our step-by-step

    Yeah, nice work as I am used to seeing from you guys. That colour is perfect, and you tucked those pipes up nice 'n tight to the bottom of the engine - well done. Now I gotta go back to your older video to see your shop puppy!

    Great looking cafe racer 🏍️😎👍 Nice work on polishing the motor. Great looking pipes and cool colour scheme with the silver tank flakework. Sounds great when your riding it.

    It sounds wonderful. Still haven't figured out where you hid the battery.
    I first came across your channel with your Vitpilen build of two years ago, I'd never seen the bike and looked it up. That's when I saw the Svartpilen and fell instantly in love. With covid lockdowns etc I hadn't done any bike touring for a year and the money was building up in the bank, so I went straight out and bought the Svart. It's a total hooligan of a bike and makes me feel fifteen all over again. The Tiger 900 gets to go touring and the Svart gets to hoon around the city.

      We hand make all of our seat pans, just like everything else on the bike. It’s all bespoke.

    I’m about to buy a shopper custom frame with a 1971 Honda CB 550 engine but I noticed the carburetors there are open with no filter but it runs like new ., is that can be a problem?

    • @PurposeBuiltMoto
      @PurposeBuiltMoto  8 місяців тому +1

      I would check the intakes for any dust etc but generally you should run some type of filter. We recommend DNA pod filters for that sort of thing

    Only issue I see with the bike is despite how nice that rear seat cowl is, there is no place for rear sets to mount so it does not look like the wife is riding anywhere unless shes just dangling her legs lol. Otherwise immaculate

    Looks great. One idea, when you lifted the seat off, the bottom of the seat was just visible plastic with the metal clip showing. Would have been fantastic if the bottom of the seat base also had a sheet of leather or vinyl covering it, matching the top of the seat. I know its never gonna be seen, but just makes that little difference. Like comparing a Mercedes to a Rolls Royce...
