Very nice! To help with part A being so thick I soak mine in hot tap water for about 10 minutes it loosen it up to be like part B. And instead of pouring the way you are B into A just use a measuring spoon 1 tablespoon is what I use, it alway come out the same measurements and you will use less comes.
Big Guy Customs OMG I never thought about doing that, I am definitely going to try that out! I’m getting excited just thinking on how it’s going to look lol Thank you for the tip 🙌🏽
I wish I could show you a pic lol. I thought I had it going on but al of a sudden and only on the left side the white paint came up and it looked like the edges were rusted out. Not sure how that happened and the tray sat for 48 hours before using the alcohol inks. Not sure what I did wrong but 90% of the tray looks amazing!
@@Tookie2Solid I'm definitely going to try it you gave the perfect idea for father's day I cant wait to see how it turns out. How'd you get the exact Hennessey label I want mine to look just like yours it's perfect ❤
Farrah Barnes yes... tray, ink, resin, spray paint, vinyl (or whatever material you choose for image) There’s different ways you can add images to the tray you don’t always need a printer. I used an image that was made from removable vinyl and I cut it with my cricut maker.
I like your technique with with different color ink. Just a suggestion.... a small. Uneven cut paintbrush would give you a better wood grain appearance.
Hey I know I’m late and you probably already figured this out but in regards to your question here, are you making sure when you upload an image and remove the background, you’re saving it as a cut image? If not be sure to save as cut not print then cut. Hope this helps! Let me know if it doesn’t I’ll explain in better detail
Shara Ervin I always add the label then the epoxy then add epoxy on top of the label when using this kind of label because of the way the label is added it could remove some of the ink from the tray.
Dayna J yes you can add the design before you epoxy it I do that with other designs but the way I added this particular design would have removed some of the ink so for these kind I don’t. Also, I never smell the resin at all but maybe it’s just me.
Just get the clear sticky paper that’s use for printing. Of course you’ll look for the design or images you want to use, then once you find those you’ll print them out on using the Sticker paper. After that you’ll cut them out and peel the label off in place it on your tray. Hope this helps my love. My advice before you add the epoxy mixer Put the sticker on first! Then put the epoxy on top because it keeps the sticker from peeling later on down the line also you can spray paint your trays as well! It’s up to you how you’ll want to proceed. You can Also use glossy spray paint for the shine as well.
This is a great idea I usually use woodgrain shelf sticker paper but this is even better
Yes I love making them this way! I’m glad you found the video useful. ❤️
Nice job! For my wood grains I use a dry paint brush to give it that “wood” look
Terri Williams thanks for watching, I’m going to try that out and see how it comes out for me.

Use Rustoleum candy apple red and your tray will come out cherry wood.

@Sutton Kellan yea, been using Flixzone} for years myself =)
Do you use the red after the brown?
See now this go be my first tray I try, you did that💪🔥

Awesome job...where do you purchase the trays? What is the measurements on the epoxy?
Thank you! The trays can be purchased from dollar tree. To be honest I never use exact measurements on the epoxy I just eyeball it
This is a bad-ass tray. Beautiful elegant love the colors. Pls list what you used to make this. Thanks Lisa 😊
Do you mind sharing the type of vinyl you used in this video? This is very nice. Also After you applied the vinyl did you spray anything over it?
@seneitrajones If she didn't use a spray she might of applied resin
I use cricut removable vinyl or premium vinyl and then I added resin on top.
I absolutely love this I cant wait to try this awesome job ❤
Cicely Wade thank you 😊 I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m sure once you try it you’ll find yourself bringing chips to parties all the time 😂 🎉

I’m trying to design my own tray. What are the main materials needed ?
Tray
Resin
Letters/print ? What transfer paper you use?

You should be able to find them on dollar trees website. You can order them by the case.

@@Tookie2Solid absolutely. My husband said its called a "chip brush" he got it from home depot. Cheap. I think $0.60

Alisha R Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 💕
Do you spray paint.the back of the tray or leave it silver?
Good question
She answered yes to someone with the same question
It’s really up to you if you want to spray the back me myself I usually do.
Put resin into a warm water bath for may like 5 minutes and it won't be so thick when you go to use it.
It works for me that way. Just My Opinion.
Natasha Fisher thank you so much for the tip, I will give it a try

Thank you!
Where can I purchase these colors individually without buying the whole set.
I haven’t found them separately. The only one I’ve found individually was the teakwood.
Where did you get your tray? Do you have a link?
Goddess Love I purchase the trays from dollar tree
Love this..but how did u get the symbol cut with all the details??
Use a cutting machine
I used a cricut cutter. It’s a cutting machine.
Very nice I love this. AWESOME JOB ❤❤
TIME WITH LADY ESHA thank you for checking out the video I’m glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
How long did you let the spray paint dry before adding the ink?
I let it dry for 24 hours then applied the ink
Where do you get the trays ?
I purchased the trays from dollar tree.
will white primer paint work also
Honestly I’m not sure I have never tried that. If you try it could you let me know how it works out for you?
How were you able to cut the logo in vinyl? I'm trying but my circuit prompts me to print it on plain white paper
Hmm I’m not sure why that is. On the cricut maker I just choose vinyl and it works fine.

Can the label be added before the epoxy or would it not turn out right?
Shara Ervin I always add the label then the epoxy then add epoxy on top of the label when using this kind of label because of the way the label is added it could remove some of the ink from the tray.
@@Tookie2Solid ok thanks!
Shara Ervin no problem
I did my try try with the brown. But when I put the epoxy it turned it a yellowish color. I don't understand why
Can you use teakwood on tumblers?
Yes you can

I Love This Design 💕 I'm Curious To Know What Type Of Paper You Used For The Word/Design ?
Ivory Brown I used removable vinyl (cricut brand)
1KlumsyKrafter so you put the vinyl on top of the resin & left as is? Or did you add some more resin to cover the vinyl?
@@msaries314... I have the same question 🤔
@@brianacollier3159 I'm more than sure he added epoxy on top or else it will get ruined.
K. M. J i put the resin on top of the vinyl
Wow that's amazing. Are you selling these??
Bossd Out Stylez Thank you I’m glad you like it! Yes I sell them but I really enjoy making them as I do almost everything 😂 Thanks for watching ❤️

Alcohol ink
I used alcohol ink

May I ask what font did you use for the letters?
Ms Jones I just googled the Hennessy logo and cut it out with my cutter
Could you have put the label on first then epoxy it? Just want to save a step breathing in those fumes lol
