They got away with using “hobnocker” on the show because they MADE UP that word. If you pay close attention, the episode iRockedtheVote, which is were the term “hobknocker” was introduced was premiered on February 7, 2009. They explain the meaning if the word is “gross and illegal” and when I looked it up immediately after the episode in 2009 there were NO definitions. A few weeks later, in the Urban Dictionary they defined “hobknocker” as something “gross and illegal” and hashtagged iCarly. Further made up definitions were added after 2010 so... No. That wasn’t a real word. Now it is.

I only watch icarly to make fun of it. I would like to share my full opinion of this show, and I apologize if I offend anyone. I don't like how Carly and Sam make fun of their audience, ("this is icarly the show watched by smart people and idiots, you know which one you are." ) the show wasn't bad in the first three seasons but as the show progressed i thought it got more and more ridiculous. For one thing Baggles the part yogurt sack was just not necessary. Gibby saying his name in a weird way every time he entered a room was annoying. I also didn't like how Carly and Sam made fun of Griffin just because he didn't fit the stereotypical bar boy image, and I might add they were angry with him for supposedly killing Fred, and yet in iKiss Carly confronts Sam for confirming on the web show about having not bad his first kiss, which makes Carly a hypocrite. She is also childish because of all the toys and gummy bears in her apartment. The show wasn't even realistic because of it had been Sam would have been probably put in a foster home when her dad abandoned her, considering her mom is irresponsible. Why does it matter if Bigfoot does exist or not? Carly .should have taken time to get to know all of crushed before acting so easy (Griffin and Trey for example), out of all the characters Freddie is the smartest. T-bo is just annoying, trying to sell random junk on a stick, Guppy is a little annoying too, and btw what is his real name? They never tell the audience. Spencer is a man child, and with all due respect for the writers of the show. I honestly think they should been made Spence to be more mature and responsible, since he is Carly's garudian. What happens to Carly's mom or Freddie's dad? Why is Lewbert so bitter? Why do Carly and Sam torture him? I am really really really really sorry if I have offended anyone but I just wanted to share my opinion.
