Better than his recording with Serly.

I disagree completely. But apart from the interpretation, Serly corrects all the printing errors in the score and parts in his excellent recording; errors which Boosey and Hawkes have still not corrected to this day. There are other excellent live performances on UA-cam with Primrose playing this masterpiece with several great conductors: Ansermet, Bour, and Sacher.

Bartok , un des musiciens les plus inventifs du XX°s. ignoré, voire oublié , comme Florent Schmitt...Primerose joue extrêmement bien, ce fut le meilleur altiste que la terre aie jamais connu, mais le tempo décidément très rapide voire accéléré est il celui que Belà Bartok aurait conçu ?
