And amazingly when I was a kid, during holidays, besides war films, football games, wizard of oz. There was televised Yes concerts that were pretty lengthy. And I watch parts of them now & are blown away on how great his playing, and the band is.

I watched his declining status over many concert appearances and finally the car accident that paralyzed him. He was my hero and to see him suffer like this was terrible . He may not have died On October 20, 1977, but his path to his downfall began that day. This still does not take away his ability or greatness with a Firebird in his hands. Give dues where they are due.
Seen Jeff Beck at least 20 times live. one time he saved my life from being run over by his Blonde Babe Limo driver , real story ,Tampa Fl. Curtis Hixon Hall by the Stage entrance. He jumped out to make sure I was ok.broke my heart when he passed so sudden. I cried.

I was very satisfied with this list. I think the big names were on here, and I was happy to see the inclusion of Alex Lifeson, as a big Rush fan. Gilmour at #1 is what makes this list truly valid.

Ngl, David Gilmore is the most overrated guitar player ever. All people say is "OH WELL COMFORTABLY NUMB" which is the same thing as page with zeppelin stuff. A guitarist imo should be able to have great guitar work throughout their career to be recognized as one of the best. No one have heard of the latest jimmy page or David Gilmore solo since '79
