- Today I’m making your cocktail recipes in celebration of our 100th video! A couple weeks ago we sent out a request for original cocktail recipes, and boy did you deliver! We received over 700 entries! I planned to showcase three winners, but because so many sounded good, I’m doing eight - along with eight honorable mentions! Some of you asked me how to get an original recipe out into the world, and I think sharing them is a start. So give these a try, make them for others, and help get these out there! Oh, and if you haven’t yet, check out the community post & instagram page to see some of the others. Thank you, everyone, for supporting the channel. Here’s to 100 more! 🍾 🥂

And thank you to all for the wonderful cocktail recipes! Cheers!

Try this rum Captikus
Try to make daiquri with a plum and a few grapes. The most delicious daiquiri I ever had.
We have a cocktail on my bar menu that uses a cinammon stick as a smoking instrument, I find that chilling the glass before you start smoking it allows the smoke to stick to the glass
Great episode you have tought so much over the times that i have watched from how to stir and shake to how to add ingredients and what glasses to buy first. If you do another one of these videos try this. Rocks glass, 1 large ice cube, 1oz of Rectified spirit(1.5oz if you want a stronger alcohol bite), 1.5oz of Peppermint Schnapps and fill the rest with Kahlua or a Coffee flavored Liqueur.
here is a definitely must try:
- Muddle 3 wheels of cucumber with some mint
- Add 2 oz of Gin Mare
- Add 1 oz simple syrup
- Add 0.75 oz of lime juice
Garnish with mint leaves
Shake for 15 seconds & enjoy
Thanks for choosing The Bear! Next time I make it I’ll try to do an absinthe rinse. Appreciate you both!
Also, a little background on the nickname. I almost died of an asthma attack when I was two years old. While I was still in the hospital, my parents went and got me a teddy bear by the brand with “ty” inside the red heart. With my name being Tyler, they started calling me tybear which then became Bear. I’m 27 and to this day sleep with it every night. A little lame I know but it’s very special to me.
Not lame at all - that's a great story! Thanks for sharing it, and thanks for sharing your recipe! Cheers! 🥃 🐻
NOT lame, Tyler!
Just happened to see your comment as it appeared right below mine and wanted to say there's nothing lame about gaining comfort from something that connects you to your parents. As someone famous once said: whatever gets you through the night, right? Especially in the insane world we live in. Cheers!
That’s cute as fuck wdym lame
"ty" toys are great, I have a pink baby seal and it's the cutest thing ever.
Anders, what do you think of doing this again at some point? It would be a great tradition, and obviously there were some really great drinks in there. What a cool love letter to your fans, great episode, thanks for the hard work
Hey Lee! It seems to be getting a good response so we may have to bring it back!
Yea, maybe an annual event for them. :)
Hi please make my cocktail, it is with whiskey, almond milk , maple syrup, rose water and saffron. I developed it because i missed my country Iran.
Yeah I gotta agree, I like his videos but I thought this one was really cool. Getting to the see what other people are making out there was something I really enjoyed
@@kamrantaherkhani2066 Sounds like a nice drink, but you’d probably have to make measurements and a recipe list to get it higher in the list
I think it's incredible that you went through all 700+ recipes... you're a kind, humble gentleman Anders who cares about his viewers ❤️
Thanks for showing off my roasted apple! Always nice to get some feedback from knowledgeable people. Thanks for the nice videos and recipes, may there be many hundred more to come!
What a great drink! Thanks for sharing your recipe! Next time I'll have an apple for garnishing 😬
That's me! The first time I made that I had extra left over and it was definitely too big. I forgot to scale it back for this! Y'all are totally right the smaller size is the way to go.
Thanks for sharing the recipe, Silas! Really enjoyed it - no matter what the size! You know the flavors I like - Cheers to you! 🥃
Late to the party, but I just made this last night and wanted to say thank you for the recipe! Our honey syrup was too thin, so instead we used homemade cinnamon demerara syrup and the baking spice flavors worked just as well, albeit at the expense of some of the foamy head. Would absolutely make this again.
You guys are so fun to watch, especially when you get a bit tipsy. Happy Friday! Cheers.
Haha enjoy the weekend!
Yay! I survived, I am alive! 24 days we’ve left our home hiding from bombs, 24 days of no stirring, no shaking, no drinking. You can tell you are happy when you have home… You guys made me smiling for 22 minutes, makes me… happy! Thanks for this a lot! Even though I can’t do any of this great cocktails, I was trying to imagine and predict their taste, and I enjoyed! Hope to see you soon in your next video! Peace ☮️
I'm glad you are finding some pleasure amidst your circumstances. I wish you and all Ukrainians love and hope. I hope that this horror ends soon. Slav Ukraini 🇺🇦! Слава Україні!
Glad we could bring a tiny bit of respite. Stay safe 👊🇺🇦
@@AndersErickson congratulations on 100 episodes ❤️
3 parts dark rum, 2 parts cointreau, 3 parts fresh lemon, 2 parts simple syrup. Skake with mint leaves and fresh ginger. Serve in a tumbler on ice. YUM!
Funny to hear Az start to get buzzed lol. Her sentences started blending together. You guys are amazing
I feel very honored being an honrable mention!
Also holy smokes that is a lot of drinks in one day! seems like a good time :D cheers!
Love how you use the jasmine green tea ice cube in the Juniper Fields! Excellent drink - thanks for sharing the recipe! Cheers!
@@AndersErickson tea ice cubes are amazing and really should be explored!
Orange pekoe large ice cube is amazing in an old fashioned, which is already accompanied with an orange twist, and it gives a drink that evolves over time rather than dilute over time.
I would love to see you try something of the sort somrday :)
@@jondotdrinks6952 idk how the idea of a tea ice cube in cocktails never occurred to me, that is so smart. Could def do something interesting with a lemon-forward drink that goes from lemonade to arnold palmer as it melts
@@nerdherder9340 its very fun, lets things evolve slowly. give some combinations a try and let me know what you think! You can also turn tea into syrups too which is fun.
This was awesome, I’d love if this became a semi regular feature.
I second that!
Anders and Az together are brilliant. Watching Az's facial expression after a sip is worth the price of admission alone, even if I'm not paying anything.
This should maybe be an annual episode of a review of the top 8 of your viewers' recipes.
Oz is amazing! Great charisma !
You NEED to do an episode on the WORST submission.... on April 1rst maybe ? :D
Lol... has champagne syrup, dried lemon/limes ,honey syrup... but no apples.... True BarMan!
Thank you for choosing 온새미로 as honorable mentions! I hope you get to enjoy distilled soju more often in the future!
By the way, your pronunciation was fine 👍
This drink inspired me to try a riff on the Django Reinhardt. You might be interested in trying it.
3 Soju
1 dry vermouth
1 lemon juice
.5 maesil
2 slices orange
Muddle the orange slices in a shaker, then add all the ingredients and shake on ice. Strain over a large cube in a rocks glass. Enjoy!
Tim Reinhardt I’ll definitely try it out soon! Thanks for your suggestion!
Congratulations on 100 episodes; that is really something, especially since we journeyed together through the COVID pandemic and its lockdowns. You provided a lot of fun and education to me, so thanks! This was a very enjoyable episode, and I like the two of you even more now that an entire episode was spent together on the same side of the camera. Someday, when we're in Chicago again, my wife and I would love to buy you some drinks. Cheers!
Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for being here! Let's keep this rolling. Cheers to you!
Was so excited to be in the honorable mentions!! Thanks for doing this Anders, great video!
I love when people share their drinks. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thank you for the amazing videos, Anders! Three months ago, I started exploring the world of cocktails and your channel quickly became my go to! You've thought me a lot and I really enjoy this new hobby of mine! Keep up the wonderful work you do and congrats on the engagement to both of you! Cheers from a fan in Serbia!
Wow. You picked some amazing sounding ones. Definitely trying some of those.
UA-camrs that care about their viewers and ideas. Thank you to you both. Cheers!
Thank you guys for making this, glad you liked it! (Goya was a perfect replacement lol)
Congrats, sky's the limit!
Cheers, Trevor! The Officer and a Gentian was amazing! I'd order a second one if I saw that thing on a tiki menu. Cheers to you, man - Bravo!
@Anders Erickson going to send you some Rubicon juices! Lol
Happy 100th video!!! Love to see you both on camera!
Thanks! It was a fun one to shoot!
My wife and I were watching and really liked the Exquis and The Roasted Apple. Our own twist for the roasted apple was to torch some sugar on the apple garnish and as Anders said double up on the Ango.
Congrats on making it to 100 episodes. I'm looking forward to the next 100 and beyond.
Much love. 🙂
Cheers Anders. As someone who started following when you only had hundreds, it’s been a fun ride watching you build countless cocktails! What a great way to celebrate your 100th video.
I have to say that my bar pretty much has every ingredient in these drinks so,,, it’s about to go down!!! Cheers to 100 more!
Such a fun episode, thanks guys! Congratz on the 100 episodes!
Truly enjoy your cocktail presentations. They're a balanced mix of information, instruction and personality. It's nice, too, getting Az's perspective. You two make a good team. Thanks for the hard work you put into these videos! Cheers.
What an enjoyable episode.. congratulations on your 100th video. I'm sure there's many more to come. I love the names of the cocktails you selected here. Goes to show how creative these respectable people are.
Cheers.
Congratulations on the 100th episode! And congratulations to those that made the cut! Hope someday you’ll be able to do a round 2 of this, great episode and loved looking at the submissions myself.
congrats guys. thank you from Carmel, CA. I started bartending for the first time in 17 years this last year, and you are the only real reason why I can show up with more game than the twenty-somethings I work with. Thank you. Keep it coming.
This was a rad idea I hope you do more eps in this format in the future! Cheers Anders🥂
I absolutely love your channel! I started bartending last year and got really into the cocktail making because of your channel and have been able to create what I think are some really great cocktails because of what I've learned from watching you. Thank you so much for helping inspire me to become a more creative bartender.
The Roasted Apple remidns me of a "baked apples", a traditional christmas treat around here. All that is missing would be a "marzipan" component.
I might try this one with half/half caramel and orgeat. ^^
Been a fan for a while. Thank you for making these entertaining and resourceful videos. Got me started making cocktails! Congratulations on the 100th episode!
Its funny how as the video goes on you can tell how relaxed you both are getting 🤣
Y'all deserve nothing but love. You guys have built a great show, and I always enjoy learning about new ideas for what to make next. Cheers!
Such a fun video! I know it was a lot of work, but it would be super fun to do more of these!
By far the best channel for cocktails🙏🏼 thanks Anders
This was a wonderful idea! And as always, I love the way you two play off each other; great video!!
Congratulations on 100 episode, I love your channel. I am always excited waiting for new videos.
This was such a great video, you Two! Nice to see you both doing this one. Just a really generous things to do - feature viewers’ cocktails. Love your channel! And thanks for helping me get through the worst (hopefully) of the COVID 19 nightmare! Cheers to the future🥂🍸😁
Congrats on the milestone!!!! So glad to see how far you have gone!!!
Congratulations on the 100th episodes guys, love the videos! :D
Just made the North Cove, partly because it was the only one where I had all (or, in some cases, any) of the ingredients, and partly because I was intrigued by the Amaretto and Campari component. Wasn't sure that it would work, but it really does! The flavours combine to make something entirely new. It is intense though, so I served on the rocks as you suggested. I'll make this again!
For me this tasted exactly like grapefruit juice! I loved it
That was a lot of fun to watch! Congrats on 100 episodes!
You two are just such fantastic humans! I've just sat here for over an hour watching videos, and enjoyed every moment of it! Inspired me to finally pull the trigger on something I have been wanting to do, and that is, to get some cocktail supplies! So the Amazon order is on route :) Keep being you! The world needs it
Congrats on 100 episodes Anders and Az! You two are awesome. Heres to many more!
More of this please! So many new great cocktails to try. So many creative viewers
Congrats on 100 killer episodes, love you guys! Keep up the great work.
Brilliant. Thanks guys!
Congrats to the milestone! Keep the amazing videos and cocktails coming! Cheers!
Thank you so much! Cheers to you!
Huzzah!! 100!! Drinks all around! Cheers!!
Edit: Cheers to all those selected! Can't wait to try em!
Congrats on 100 episodes, this was a fun one!

Oh yeah. Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈 on your milestone!!!
Yay!!! Congratulations 🥳 100 episode
This was really fun, thanks for doing it!
I hope you'll do it again, because I was SOO close to submitting one but I wanted to try another variation of my cocktail before I shared it.
Cheers!
Congratulations on 100 episodes. Love you guys
This was SO cool, and an awesome way to celebrate 100 episodes! I balked at submitting my one and only original cocktail, but am doubly inspired to continue refining so I can submit it for round two. Cheers!
Congrats on a 100. Solid episode - you guys are great
Hey guys! congratulations not only on the 100 episodes but also for the engagement!
Really fantastic video, and some great sounding drinks in there. The other day I was reminiscing about when you used to do Tiki Thursdays.
What a journey since Feb 2021. My cupboards are full of bottles because of you two. I love it.
Congratulations!!
Congrats on the BIG 100 ! truly enjoy your show! ! !
Congratulations on 100!!!
Im a fledgling bartender and loooove this channel. It has helped me so much
Congrats to both of you! I know that you both have worked so hard to get to this point. BIG fan here! 😁
Thank you, Nickolas! Cheers!
Great great episode. Thank you.
Thank you guys so much for 100 episodes. I honestly couldn't stop smiling through this whole video.
Great video as always. Love your content, and your combined joyfulness :)
I look forward to you posting videos every week. I am an avid home-cocktail maker. On top of your offerings just being great recipes, your channel educates me with the 'hows' and 'whys' the cocktails are contructed. Thanks for the channel. 100 episodes, onwards and upwards
This is so cool! I love the engagement with your subscribers! The bounty looks particularly amazing.
You two work SO WELL together! Really enjoyed this one 👍
This needs to go in the all time great Anders videos. Make it recurring for sure.
I really enjoyed this video! I'm a bit of an amateur mixologist, and submitted a recipe (the Venezuela Libre), and I was really inspired by the creativity of the drinks in the video, I really want to go and mix all of them! Here's to 100 more!
Thank you Anders for all the work you put into this. Im a new this channel and I really enjoy each video you put out. Congratulations on 100 episodes.!!

big fan of this episode!
I love to see new recipes and your passion for mastering them.
Next time I hopefully don't miss the announcement for recipes!
You guys rock! Thanks!
I'm really enjoying seeing Az get more involved in front of the camera! You are a wonderful double team. And honestly I've never been so tempted to quit my day job and try to open a cocktail bar...
What a journey! Thanks for bringing us along
Great video. Probably one of my favorites
Thanks for this great video and trying out the viewers drinks - please do this again! Some of these sound so good - just writing my shopping list!!
Congratulations!
I love this dynamic, very good video
it is incredible to see the cocktails from different parts of the world
Well THAT was a fun episode. I like Oz being on screen because she adds a complimentary personality to the already effervescent one we are all accustomed to and enjoy. I'm new to the mixology game, so still learning here, but well invested mostly because of the pandemic. I used to get my cocktails at some of the great cocktail bars here in San Francisco, but now I'm making my own and it's SO MUCH FU*hic* FUN! I'm amazed at all of the possibilities on the alcohol palette and this episode underlines the diversity. Good job!
Happy 100th video! Thanks for featuring my drink :)
You made a great drink, Joshua! Thanks for sending it our way - hope more people try it! Cheers!
Such a good episode i learn a lot from this video
Congratulations!! Great Channel
Congrats on 100 videos!! What an awesome idea to showcase some fan's drinks. A lot of creative people out there.
So many submissions looked so good - it was hard to pick just eight to make!
Congratulations on 100 episodes!!
Great video! Congrats on 100! 1,000,000,000 to go!
🤯
