Downtown Long Beach has a great farmer's market that sets up every Friday 10 am - 2 pm on N Promenade between 5th and 3rd streets! It's such a great community of people!
Nice to see my 2nd Home Town. I lived in the LBC for 30 years. Now, I happily retired in Miami Beach. Great video. I saw my favorite Beach spot along the Bike Path. I haven't been living in Long Beach since 2010. Nice to see this video. Special Note: I hope you can video the Beaches of the South Bay( Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beaches)

Long Beach. has always been cool town Belmont shore naples is fun calm ocean water to swim relax open air cafes. God has bless hometown

This is a beautiful video but it is also very sad to always only seeing downtown be represented and called “Long Beach.” I know it is clarified in the title but not to viewers. Long Beach is huge and definitely a beach city- what makes it special is that it’s also not just another HB or laguna, or Malibu or Venice Beach. I love downtown too but this romanticizes the hell out of it.

I moved from downtown LB 20 yrs ago. Then there were old buildings with a dribble of business going on. Now there are new bulidings with no continuity . . . all boarded up. Progress? ? ? IDTS
I live in DTLB. The boards from the May 31st looting are mostly gone. Now there's wonderful outdoor dining in keeping with COVID19 rules. But alas not all businesses can accommodate the LA County COVID19 outdoor rules.

Ocean Blvd and Shoreline Village are the nice parts of Long Beach, but just 5 miles south and west of this location are some of the worst ghettos in So. Cal. I lived in So. Cal for over 40 years and lived in Long Beach. Don't get me wrong. Long Beach has some very nice communities, but it's nothing like the video portrays. Tip, don't go out at night on Anaheim blvd or PCH from Wilmington to at least Lakewood blvd and the traffic circle.

Belmont Shore, Bixby Knolls, Ranchos Estates, Los Altos, California Heights and Alamitos Beach are all great neighborhoods in Long Beach California.
