They both got girlfriends and double dated and then JP fell in love with Craig and they went on and off being friends because of Craig's prejudices. And although it took a long time for Craig to get to the point where he understood that he loved JP more than just a friend he did get there and he chose JP in the end! I just loved that through any drama their friendship was so strong and it made their romantic relationship all the more believable!
