Something I found interesting: Dolmayan looks to be a name inspired by Armenian culture. Dolma is a type of stuffed vegetable dish that can come in a variety of ways but is used regionally and the -yan ending is common to many Armenian last names. Also, the the name of his ac looks to be named after the pagan Armenian goddess of fertility. I found it pretty funny when i noticed it, though im sure someone smarter than me can figure out the greater significance of using those names
It should be noted that the rlf victory over arquebus in there ending is left ambiguous, yes snail was killed but for all his boasting he was still just one member of the board and v.i is still out there. Also I've been hearing that the rlf may be a front for some other corporation to make power play, but I have no confirmation of this.
I don't know if I'm right, but when you fight the Brnach members and Nightfallit feels like it wasn't actually Arquebus who hired them. it sounds almost like Nightfall and their handler hired the branch members to attack and set up a trap for 621. And the only reason Arquebus is in this conversation is just the RLF just assuming that has to be it.
When the player is defeated in that mission, the Branch members immediately lose any interest of the dam and start retreating. You're correct that they were there solely to fight 621.
1. I believe that Seria was fully aware that humans were using Coral as fuel. In Dolmayan's Writings (2), in the English version, it is simply stated that 'there(Coral) will always be plenty', but in the Japanese version, it is stated that 'it(Coral) won't be depleted'. They use the word 'depleted' deliberately in the sense that she know's it's being used as an energy resource. On top of that, considering Seria had access to the Coral Release data, which should naturally be top secret data, and considering all the hacking and accessing Ayre was capable in AC6, it's only natural to assume that Seria had access to knowledge of things like C-Weapons, which burned Coral as fuel. So in short, Seria KNEW that Coral was being burned as fuel, but she was fine with it. This also aligns with how Arye, while being mildly surprised by Coral weapons, she never seems to be disgusted or have despised humans of using her brothers and sisters as energy sources. If anything, we have a line when she sees the Helianthus types, she reacts in an understanding manner and says something like, "Considering they ran these things for 50 years without problem, it makes sense humanity wants us so badly". I would imagine this understanding attitude comes from how Coral, as an energy based alien race, just has a very different nature to humans as they multiply indefinitely and not every one of them have sapience like Seria and Ayre. They probably percieve life differently and have different moral perspectives compared to mankind. In the meantime, it would still makes sense that Dolmayan would feel guilty, since from conventional human moral perspectives, humans were just burning them like oil and breathing them for the kick, which would simply sound wrong to do to an alien race. 2. I am fairly certain that the RLF was not formed because of the corporations, but because of the PCA. -Many of the evidence shows that the RLF was formed WAY before the events of AC6. The RLF has at least gone through a whole generation where Dolmayan used to be the leader but enough time has passed where he has become old and lost his will, falling to just the being the symbol leader where Middle Flatwell is now the practical leader. Flatwell has been working for the RLF long enough where he made connections with Schneider and was able to plant a spy(Rusty) in the Vespers, Arquebus' most Elite pilot group. Plans like these don't fruition without a considerable amount of time. Little Zwei was raised by the RLF ever since her infancy. None of this would've made sense if the RLF was only made because of the Corporations, which only entered and poked around Rubicon very recently. No interstellar Corporation was allowed in or out of the planet and all of this only happened as Branch recently leaked the information of Coral and made holes in the PCA defences. - It's written in Index Dunham's Arena entry that "he is now dedicated to establishing symbiosis with the Coral and building a future for Rubicon FREE FROM PLANETARY CLOSURE, inspired by Father Dolmayan's ideals". The entry clearly explains that the RLF's main goal was to fight off the PCA and free the planet form Planetary Closure. - It might seem odd since the main idea and hymn of the RLF is that 'Coral shall abide with Rubicon', it looks like that the PCA isn't really taking away Coral from Rubicon, but it still makes sense as the PCA is actively trying to control and quarantine any remaining traces of Coral. In this sense, Coral is effectively stil being taken away from Rubiconions and hence Rubicon. - It also makes a lot of sense since the PCA, at least for the last 50 years, is the number 1 reason that the Rubiconions have been starving and living off of nothing but mealworms. They block any interstellar trade and even try to control any signs of Coral. They're effectively just starving the whole planet to death. They have a pretty good reason to start a Liberation Front against oppression.
Super and you evidenced it all well. But its been two months since this video was made, there is more and more being learned each day, i imagine in mere months most of these video will be outdated.
Told you id stick around now i found your channel ha ha. Another great piece of content, well scripted, presented and edited. A great commendation from a long time AC pilot.
Oh fantastic. It would be great to get a video on all the elements in the game. Then a final story synopsis talking about what each faction wants at each point.
It seem weird that the PCA has some beef with the RLF instead of teaming up , im guessing it's because the RLF kept nosing at PCA contained area to scavenge parts and buying weapons and MTs from 3 corporation like BAWS, Elcnao and Furlong, the PCA view that as a violation of order.
It's because the RLF wants to open the planet again so they aren't cut off from the rest of humanity, but the PCA won't open the planet for any reason, not even for the natives.
As said by @raithtenjo below one of the reason is because they wanted the closure system gone over Rubicon 3 as it really locked down the planet to supplies and off world goods. The PCA also as you say was trying to maintain order with corporations running around so when the Front tried to push thier luck by trying to take back the wall and keep sending 621 to take out thier tech because they feared it would reversed engineered (Which we know it would) you can see why the PCA wanted to stomp them all out and make sure the rules where being followed.
@@van8276 Maybe they see them as outdated? After all we know the front feared the corporations reverse engineering them which they did resulting in a very one sided battle between corps.
I don't think Father's Dolmayan's actual first name is "Thumb", as the main characters of the liberation front are all named after a finger, Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring and Little. sounds more like titles used for high-ranking soldiers
No need to pronounce the whole long names of each weapon. You can just use their short nanes, like Ransetsu, Etsujin, Javelin Beta, Holdeman, Iridium, etc.
@@armoredcorelore furlong should have their line of ACs part as they seems bigger than arquebus, it seems furlong has american origin, while arquebus and balam representing Europe and Asian based company.
From what I can see about BAWS, they are the main producers of MTs and the producers of BASHO ACs which appear to be a reproduction of the first-generation ACs. While a neutral company is willing to do business with everyone, they are the main suppliers of aparts for the RLF. BURN PICKAXE, YUE YU, AND ASTGHIK are all full BASHO's with various internals, and weapons either produced by BAWS or another misc company that's not Balam, Arqubus, or a subsidiary. I can assume Elcano is a similar story, but with higher-end parts such as the Firmeza for Middle Flatwell's TSUBASA'S AC. Furlong simply specializes in rocketry and guidance systems while Takigawa produces pulse parts such as blades, guns, shields, and bucklers. The wiki does mention that Takigawa's pulse technology is coral-based, which kind of makes me wonder if they were a company in the scope of Balam and Arquebus at one point.

I'd be interested to see what you can dig up on Sulla. He and Walter and his hounds seem to have quite the history. I haven't seen much about him, though.
So Rusty either dead or alive in the liberator of Rubicon ending The fire of Raven ending he's dead in the Alea iacta est ending he's dead, damn he can't catch a f****** break
I think he might just be fighting on Rubicon's surface in Alea Iacta Est. There were 6 Vesper copies accompanying ALLMIND, but there are 8 Vespers in total . Coincidentally the sole Vespers who weren't killed by 621 were Freud and Rusty in Alea Iacta Est, so I'd believe that he managed to elude ALLMIND after escaping from the battle with 621 and bided his time until he could retrieve Steel Haze Ortus. Freud probably just kept going as the sole Vesper left.
Any idea why Rokumonsen has so many Allmind parts? The only other NPCs with Allmind parts were involved in the Coral Release project at some point. Can’t find any association between him and Allmind other than him being independent, although he’s only a rank D in the arena so nothing points to him being particularly special as a merc. I guess since he has the Mind Alpha core that he might have been a past research subject but I don’t see any mention of that anywhere else in game.
Sadly as you say there is very little to go on with why he has this many parts. We can make guess but there is (Not yet) anything that really say he has this because. However i could suggest he was a fail candidate to the project he was just never was told anything as allmind just kept testing him only to one day leave him high and dry which is when Ziyi found him. But again this is more a guess then anything.
@@armoredcoreloreThat would make sense if we knew that was true. Speculating again, it might also help explain Dolmayan’s turn against coral release if Rokumonsen had told him about what it really entailed from his prior experience as a candidate for Allmind. Although that would strike me as a little out of character of Allmind to leave a loose end like that considering every other potential threat to the coral release project other than 621 get murdered, or it just didn’t see him as a real threat. I guess it could all mean nothing and the devs just wanted to give him a cool build, but the potential implications are fun to think about.
Ring Freddie and Thumb Dolmayan are definitely getting intimate. I can't find a single definition of the word "paramour" that doesn't involve it being a sexual/romantic relationship, and it makes sense that Ring Freddie would be an admirer of Dolmayan's inner workings as someone he is romantically involved with.
So quick question which of the three endings technically is the correct ending I've heard some people say it's the Liberator of Rubicon I've heard some people say it's the fires of Raven ending and I've heard some say it's the die is cast But which one actually is it
The truth is there really is not one that we know of yet. This is very much the same case we had back in armored core For answer, we had three endings and it went back a forth between which one was the cannon ending. It was not until armored core v we got a hint that suggested it was the orca ending due to use of the orca symbols and the pollution. However this again is only a strong case of it being the most likely as it was never confirmed (To my knowledge) to be the cannon ending. I feel we're going to see this again with this game so really i can say hand on heart at the moment the cannon or true lore path is unknown.

@@armoredcoreloreAnd here I am wishing for a hardcore survival mode...
Would not surprise me after all we had orca so why not some within the front.
You might be thinking of Carla revealing that RaD has been a front for Overseer since she took it over.
Dont worry thumbe, we will listen to the nice lady in my head and release the coral into space. Becsuse, SHES REAL TO ME!
And maybe that is all that matters.
It possible after all we only have what happens on that mission to go off so its up for debate as i always say.
Thank you for the kind works and i am happy to see you again. I admit i felt better about this video, so i can keep on trucking now.
@@armoredcorelore you should it was really well done.
Oh fantastic.
It would be great to get a video on all the elements in the game. Then a final story synopsis talking about what each faction wants at each point.
I feel like someone has already done this. If not then I'll think about it.
even if someone has done it, you bring a different perspective to the lore of armored core that no one else has@@armoredcorelore
Yayyy more lore, on the good bois of AC 6
Hope you enjoy.
long live the heroes of Rubicon there deaths will not be forgotton
@@armoredcoreloreidk why the PCA had not developed a single ac parts, all their design pretty much screams gundam especially the snipers.
Sure but i said thumb to save me having to say father Dolmayan or Dolmayan over and over again.
No need to pronounce the whole long names of each weapon. You can just use their short nanes, like Ransetsu, Etsujin, Javelin Beta, Holdeman, Iridium, etc.
I could and might do in the next video, i just felt like it this time.
@@armoredcoreloreold habits die hard.
They do and when i go back to the older gens, i bet i will do it there too.
I wish we knew more about the other smaller corporations like BAWS, Furlong, Takigawa, Elcano etc
Tell me about it. Although i do have a theory about Furlong and the Jupiter war.
They kind of remind me of the fremen from the movie Dune
Shh shhh shhh don't give away the secret
I think they differentiate them more than enough to surpass a simple ripoff of the Fremen though
Rubiconian always lose, though.
I still have to watch this Dune.
You're the goat for for making all these lore videos man, but I gotta say, can't believe the channel isn't called "ArmoredLore" lol. Jokes aside, keep up the good work.

Coral is just the spice melange from Dune.
I'd be interested to see what you can dig up on Sulla. He and Walter and his hounds seem to have quite the history. I haven't seen much about him, though.
I'll try my best. If i think i can make a video out of what i find you know i will.
So Rusty either dead or alive in the liberator of Rubicon ending The fire of Raven ending he's dead in the Alea iacta est ending he's dead, damn he can't catch a f****** break
Its not easy being the hope of your people.
@@haihuynh8772 you have a good point there
Any idea why Rokumonsen has so many Allmind parts?
I always go for the liberator of Rubicon ending
Why not it's a nice ending and if you enjoy it.

Yeah the ring and thumb def fucking.
That is fair, i just had to careful as my own researched turned up it could mean to admire someone for thier qualities in a way that was not sexual.
Japanese text says "sex worker in relation with Dolmayan"
So quick question which of the three endings technically is the correct ending I've heard some people say it's the Liberator of Rubicon I've heard some people say it's the fires of Raven ending and I've heard some say it's the die is cast
But which one actually is it
The truth is there really is not one that we know of yet.
@@armoredcorelore well in that case I hope it's the Liberator of Rubicon because I like working with Rusty and as far as I know he bailed out of his AC right before Walter shot it he's just that smart and that fast lol

It is spelled that way in the game so yes, but listening to all the voice overs in the game they call them dozers.
Can't lie it's a little painful to hear you read out all the serial numbers, consider using their nicknames in the future, they roll off the tongue a little smoother
Noted.
Never liked Rusty nor the Rubicon Liberation front. You help them time and time again yet Rusty still attacks you. Help Middle Flatwell and the next mission he attacks you. All this fighting and they don’t even truly understand the Coral.
Walter was right.
Rusty had to fight you because he couldn't blow his cover to Arquebus, and Flatwell fought you once to defend Rusty, who was the RLF's trump card.
