I just now saw your comment, so I’m probably late, but I’ll share some tips that could help you out if you’re still playing: 1) In the early game, you should focus on getting Coalition Soldiers, because they’re fast to train (unless you’re using a Warlord, he has a ready personal militia which consists of National Soldiers), and are more powerful in combat. As the game progresses, slowly start training National Soldiers, because Coalition troops don’t have an infinite service (avoid extending it, as it hurts your reputation). Don’t blow all of the Coalition upgrades, save at least one or two units for late game killing of the Insurgents. 2) Government management and civilian initiatives are probably equally good. If you don’t purchase civ initiatives, population will hate you because you don’t provide for them. But government management has crucial abilities like PR, Corruption Reduction, Outreach Office etc, all of these are essential. You need to have a healthy balance between the two, try to pay attention to the needs of the population. 3) No! Infrastructure is absolutely critical, if you have slow troops, you’re doomed. Jobs are important as well, to a degree, but it’s not always required. Road upgrades and travel logistics are vital if you want to stand a chance. But don’t do “this or that only”, focus on jobs as well. 4) HQ acts as a garrison, don’t forget this. Place it somewhere central, where it can spread intel collection in all directions, and place it somewhere where it cover a lot of neighborhood areas, where it can provide a good combat support to your troops. I hope that this helps.
@@andytoskovic Yeah, I'm still playing and appreciated a loro your tips.
