Nice video, I loved playing in these back in the day so wanted to see how they hold up in modern times. The early D Rose series was never about cushion, the Pure Motion was a modified "Feet You Wear", and this version was fluid and responsive. Disappointed the traction didn't hold up too. Keep up the good work!
I wish they priced it as $110 or $120. I agree that $150 doesn't justify the price... Even thought I got it for $127 with coupon... it's not rly "protro" if the shoes only been slightly upgraded... such as lighstrike. Seems like big brands are focused on nostalgia for the customers to spend that extra dough.
you could say the same thing about the kobe 4 protro. almost identical to the original... anyways the price is gonna increase with inflation. it is what it is
@@RicheeKim absolutely true about the kobe protros. And sadly prices will keep going up... But wish they would like these protros with top of the line materials and cushions.
@@luisgon7090 If you signed up with adidas you get coupons if you spend certain amount of money. I bought Trae Young 1s and got a coupon for 20% off and used that to buy d rose 1.5. But also, they have this special discount if you use honey or something it'll pop up. But it gets you 15% off market price. I used that to buy The Trae Youngs as well.. So saved a bit of money. Also you can use honey to buy "gift cards" that are like $10 cheaper for the same price. But adidas doesn't accept gift cards so i wasted my money on that... But I did buy Curry 9s BHM for $12 off... Make sure during check out they accept gift card on the payment method before you buy honey giftcard for certain shops.. Sorry long answer but yeah. There you go sir
Great review. I bought mine the Son of Chi 1.0. I prefer enough cushion support coz I had f*Up my heels with injury. However the SOC isn't enough as well for cushion support and felt a little heavy for me and traction ain't that good on dusty court.
Us to want these back in the day. Listening to the cushion setup is kinda of a turn off for me. But then again I grow to like more shoes with more adequate cushion. These don't have it and that not good in today's basketball.
love the honest review, hope they also restomod the dame 2.
keep grinding man 🔥
Appreciate that
Probably have to wait for another 7 years for Dame's resto's

thanks for the support!
My harden volume 8 size is 8.5 US so can i get 8.5 US for these too? Thanks for answering my question.
yes
Sure? Are they the same sizing? Harden volume 8 and drose 1.5? Thank you for answering.🙏🏿
I had a different experience and went .5 size down, also having great traction (not so great durability) on dusty courts

They restored the drose 4 if you wanted to try that
@@neospiderman2165 up for consideration
Hey bro you should add like a clip of you squeaking the shoe or somethin, just an idea
prob won't happen since the squeak doesn't really correlate to performance
I'm still wondering... Son of Chi or 1.5 Restomod?
Son of chi
Restored and Modified D-Rose 1.5.
exactly
Спасибо!
no problem
Someone said, if you got a wide foot, go a 1/2 size up
