My son runs with Drew on the Bayside Indoor & Outdoor Track Team. Drew is the VA Class 5 Indoor State Champion for the 500m and the Outdoor State Champion for the 400m for the last school year! I've watched this young man train and compete. It wasn't a bad day for Quincy. It was great preparation for Drew! He works really hard. His dad is there for every practice and meet. His dad has poured love into him. I am proud of him, and all of the young men on the Bayside track team.
Quincy is just coming off injury and is in the process of prepping for Millrose games. Factor in his little trip at the 200m (not an excuse just part of the sport) I wouldn’t be shocked if Quincy was also capable of a 1:00-59.
@@WheeJoneshe pulled his hamstring during Olympic trials that’s why he ran a 47 leg opposed to his usual 44.2 or faster. I think so at least idk 🤷♂️ lol
Andrew ran an amazing race, the strength the form the speed, the knee lift. You can tell this kids been training very hard, studying Quincy that right there is what seperates #1 from #2. Quincy, has alot of talent for his age, but the kid has alot of flaws that can be fixed, terrible arm movement (Quincy does not use his arms to propell him forward), plus he clearly lacks the strength not saying he needs to put on muscle mass but he needs to get some strength training in. I say this because as he ages, more and more kids will get physically stronger than him if he continues the same training style. Eitherway great race to both of them, lets see how #1 keeps it up and the #2 fights back to #1.
That is my Grandson, my superstar. I’m super proud of him! Tears of joy are flowing. Thank You God for always keeping him!
Congratulations Grandma! Your grandson is a national record holder. Bright future for that young man.
Congrads to u and urs. All the best grandma👑👑👑👑. Many more records to come
Amazing performance. It literally had me so jaw dropped, I was confused lol
Congratulations

Y'all can't be happy for anyone else I'm a quincy fan but Salvodon won fair and square and set a national record

What is this mysterious injury everyone's talking about??

@ It's JANUARY, that's not an excuse at this point
I wouldn't worry about Quincy...he will be running mid 43s come this season.

Congrats to Salvodon got out there hard and held it all the way
Quincy went out too hard. Both essentially ran their PR for 200 but Q absolutely ran a 100 PR and tied up hard. Great start to a promising season.
naaaah quincy got out bad and lost momentum at second turn

Surprised no DQ for cutting in without a full stride gap. No matter that race was CRAZY all the young men were outstanding
that's never a DQ clean cut in happens in most indoor races
Indoor is aggressive. You have to be smarter, tougher, and more aware. Each runner has the responsibility of protecting themselves
AI is getting crazy
Quincy lost fair and square lmao
This has nothing to do with AI
