Damn, I'm used to hearing the 9, but never the 1. That being said, are there any announcements for a 1 train going express from South Ferry to 242nd Street?
If the Cortlandt Street station shutted down until 2018, did the R and W trains skip Broadway Cortlandt street and the A and C trains skip Chambers street and the E had its last stop downtown somewhere else?

There used to be expres variants for the 1 and 9 in both directions.
@@MrRailfan Wow, I never knew for the 9 as well.
Anyway, great video!
@@MrRailfan any other announcements you got in the vault for us?

I would love to hear that

bro was NOT slick with 5:21
Wait so for the 168th Street announcement, did they just splice the "9" out of the announcement?
I think it's a seperate recording.
I checked and the "A and C" was likely spliced into another announcement. That or it's very similar.
Wakee wakee wakee it’s time for mr railfans new announcements
And also yay he’s back😊
The king dropped
idek, The 1 Train route was an express train that is boosting up amazing & dope nostalgia bc of the 9.
Van Cortland Par? Park you mean !
If the Cortlandt Street station shutted down until 2018, did the R and W trains skip Broadway Cortlandt street and the A and C trains skip Chambers street and the E had its last stop downtown somewhere else?
The A C stop wasn't closed, however the E R W stop was.
The R W reopened in parts, northbound in 2009 and southbound in 2011

@@MrRailfanHave you always used it?
Sheridan Sq😭
So the 1 never had an r142, I thought it did because there was a munipals r142 1 train
R142s have ran on the 1 various times, though it's obviously very very rare. R142s has never been assigned to 240 though.
