I had a C plate SR years ago with the snow plough front bumper/spoiler 1.3 sr she used to give xr2s a run for their money C680KGG I loved it loved all the dials water /battery/temp etc etc
First car was a Red E plate SR.. E847 TUG.. sooooo many laughs in that car
D412 RGE for me. Silver 1.3SR.
1.3 was a beeeast
What a little rocket. No factory sunroof so wasnt a GTE or GSi shell. I had a Silk Violet GSi back in 1995. Miss that little car.

Had a chance to buy a GTE off an oppo back when I was in the RN. Just couldn't get the 2k together, gutted. Lovely red colour and much quicker than my Rover 216s of the time.😆
Love Courtney Nova's 👌 a mate of mine had a 1.6 GTE turbo by turbosystems back in the day until it got nicked and wrote off into a lamp post 20 seconds later 😭.Raced a 2.0 16v Nova in a 210bhp S2 rs turbo and it was surprisingly quick .Nice 1 for the Vauxhall nostalgia Adam 👍.

When going to meets around a year back, I ended up racing the original owner before it went on the competition up in Scotland. I had an Audi A3 Quattro Stage3+ running around 380hp and it wasn’t far behind a majority of the way along the M8 motorway.
That car was originally 1.2 petrol
I had my 1st nova 1.3sr when i passed my test 17year old had 2more sr’s and a gte 😎

Nice video Adam. I had a Nova SR back in the day with the Speedline Alessio's lovely looking wheels even today. Had the back arches rolled and welded to fit them in.🤩
Gorgeous, with a standard front end it will be perfect 👍 with the FWD transmission losses, flyweight shell, turbo torque, it will take a heck of a car to chase it down 50-140.

Listen when you hit 300hp per ton you are up against some serious cars. You only have to do the research and you will see.
Car has had a facelift front end and dash conversion. Real facelift Novas were only J and K reg I believe.
