I saw MMJ at Bonnaroo in 2008 & being from KY like MMJ, we started going to every show possible this side of the Missippi River from 2008-2012.. I even turned a few people into diehard MMJ fams. The hometown shows are always grear but when they do Bonnaroo its always guaranteed to be one of the greatest shows you've ever seen.
This was my 9th MMJ show and when they played this I got that same dopamine rush as hearing Touch me pt. 2 for the first time live! I'll keep going to their shows as long as they're touring!
Instant fan here since Tennessee Fire in 2005. I've always said if you opened the dictionary to rock and roll, it'd be these guys. They. Are. Everything. 🤘
I go with MMJ at Forecastle in 2012. When they played the Wiltern Theatre that year Jim James was jamming Lay Low literally right over me. My favorite song! Kinda hard to top that! If ya want I could post and link to my video of it.
I love their covers. I bought those two weird orange albums in NYC randomly when I first found MMJ like 20 years ago. Cool covers there too. I just kind of wish they didn't change their sound so much over the years. It still moves, is still my favorite album by them by far. Found Black Keys on the same trip and same issue, wish they didn't change their sound so much over the years. I think the album/single I bought was called Rubber Soul?
@@hayleyyoung9661I am a huge Kate Bush fan and didn't mean to imply that MMJ wrote the song. I called JJ a national treasure for crafting an incredible tribute to Kate's indelible legacy!
Jim, no worries whatsoever...you know Kate is chuffed as can be by the resurgent interest in her seminal stellar song ♡♡♡ I just adore her and have had the privilege of seeing MMJ twice live...excellent work all around...I need to study and enjoy them further. ♡
This song is so well crafted; someone totally tone-deaf and with JaegerMeister for blood,l could rock this in any trashy bar's Monday night, mid-night karaoke. But, yeah... Kate does "own" her work.
It was crazy being 2 songs into this show and realizing it was the best concert of your life. 2 songs in.
3 hours to go lol
I will never understand how they aren’t the biggest band in the world…
Indeed
What’s good is not always popular and what’s popular is not always good.
They are....the 🌎 is just too stupid to know it
Same. Hands down, my favorite band of the modern era.
Selfishly, I don't want anyone to know how ridiculously great they are.
My Morning Jacket is a gift from the universe and we are here to receive it.
Greatest show of my life thank you MMJ
This cover has been playing on repeat in my head since seeing this set. Thank you for posting! 🥺
Such an incredible band. One of the most underrated around today.

This shit blew my mind when I saw it. Iconic performance. Bonnaroo for life
Happy Roo!!!!
My soul so badly needs me to go to a MMJ show and soon 🙏🤘❤🔥
I've not listened to very much of My Morning Jacket, but this was fucking great! This one is def getting added to my playlist.
MMJ is out here changing lives.

They. Are. Everything. 🤘
go see them play live. I promise you will not regret it
These dudes love their job. And we love to see it.
MMJ at Bonnaroo 2008 may be the best live show I've ever seen. Sad we had to miss this year.
SAME! I always remember this as the best live set I've ever been to. Nice to see someone else picking it out 15 years later.

Can’t express enough gratitude for the wonderful light that MMJ has shared with us. THANK YOU MMJ🫶🏽
this was an insane surpise from their already mind blowing set that night
A lot of people have covered this song, but this is (hands down) the best one...and there are some very good ones out there!
Absolutely unreal! I lOVE LOVE LOVE these guys sooooooo much!!! MMJ4EVER!!!!

Wow.....Stoked to see this after it popped up on their setlist!

Bonnaroo

This is all you need
Thanks for posting this! I actually went to KoRn instead of MMJ (no wrong decisions were made) but next time they're on the farm, I'm there.
This is the greatest live band on the planet
Fucking WOW

Jim James is a national treasure.
I stopped in my tracks when he started singing, "Come on baby, come on darlin' . . ."
Same. I almost cried.
It's Kate Bush's original song...
@hayleyyoung9661 yes! I'm old enough to remember!

Omgggggggg
Does someone have the whole concert?
I thought the Wombats did the best cover of this song, but this version is ip there with it.
Bonarooooooooooo
shades of Glastonbury...
Holy Shit!! Are you serious?
bien
He's not Kate Bush, is he.
Only Jim James can do a Madonna song😮
Kate Bush
Me no like covers. There original stuff is good enough!!
✌🏽
Love them, but no, they should leave this song alone....doesn't work...
It absolutely works. It's a jam especially live.
