much of the talent burns out and is never seen by the general public . it's really fucking sad and I'm working on fixing it. ed is a fucking paragon of hard work, having the full tool kit of talent, and a willingness to work with others. But lots of incredibly talented young people, with sometimes greater singular talents than many of the popular artists today, end up lacking the business, social, or life skills to successfully "launch" and never do anything more than a shitty DIY or low-low budget recording since there is no short term ROI. The sad truth is objectively most talented musician of the generation and the past generation likely died off due to drugs, war, disease, or was forced or chose to settle into a more lucrative career to enjoy the luxuries of owning a home and a car, plus having a family, etc Not saying Ed isn't a bloody legend and top-fucking shelf in the music game. Because he most certainly is. -dude in the music industry.
This in not just pure talent. This is talent + working your ass off and practicing so hard every day to become the best in the World! That's what makes the difference.
+Eduardo Odz Search for The Live Room version of You need me, I dont need you. In the intro bit he is talking to the producer like. "Thank god I own a tuner now" haha
People always tell him that he should quit rapping and just focus on writing love songs, but he always says he won’t. Which is honestly a great thing. We need more artists like him that have a range of genres and that stay true to themselves. Hope he never stops.
Anyone who says Ed Sheeran is over rated should watch this video, Great performer, good singing/rapping, good lyricist and a good role model for kids far better than most crap in the charts.
I finally learned all the words to the 10 min. version, then I found this... and now its gonna bug the crap out of me till i learn this version too, can anyone tell me where to find lyrics to this version??
www.songlyrics.com/ed-sheeran/you-need-me-i-don-t-need-you-live-at-the-bedford-lyrics/ Then for the part with Lighters its: lyrics.lol/artist/12418-ed-sheeran/lyrics/3977716-grade-8-lighters
OH MY GOSH!!!! his string snaps halfway through a song and he play on like nothing happens and still sounds just as amazing as usual!!!!!!!!! :D LEGEND!!!
I love how he goes from ed to 50 cent to bob Marley to ed. It's pure genius, the loop pedal makes it even better. The reason I love ed sheeran is that when he writes his songs, it's all pure honesty & when he performs you can really tell that he loves music because he drowns in all the notes and feeds off the audiences vibe. I cannot wait till his concert in Jan. I am so pumped :)
this man literally blows me away how did i just watch someone sing one song for 14 minutes and not once get bored or check to see how much time was left of the video
i just love this man so much the fact he can make a song go for 14 minutes and i still never want it to end. this was the greatest part of his concert when i saw him.
It's amazing how even though he doesn't keep time, it doesn't take away from the performance. Pure talent mixed with a ridiculous amount of practice, will forever be one of my favorite artists
This is why I think Ed Sheeran is THEEEE greatest musician to have ever lived, that is just sick as fuck! There are no artists out there who could have came on stage after him and top that, not a chance in hellll.
If there's one thing Ed has taught me it's that you can never SLAM an acoustic guitar hard enough. If it's not out of tune by the end of this song...you're doing it wrong.
Its the first verse from Put your lighters up by Lil Kim. In some other versions he's also singing a verse from ´Welcome to Jamrock, by Damian Marley... Other songs he's blended in You need me, are: Loose yourself by Eminem, Find me in the club by 50 Cent and Pass out by Tinie Tempah.
This in not just pure talent. This is talent + working your ass off and practicing so hard every day to become the best in the World! That's what makes the difference.
Easily the most talented musician of the generation.

This is PURE talent being used the way it should. Great to see. (Edit) Talent + extreme hardwork obviously.
He has talent but not pure talent
RJ's Journey All is about the practice
You guys talking about talent and pure talent like there is a definition for it. #sad
Zack Pervolarakis eh yes the definition of perfection is ed sheeran #tryagain
he breaks a couple of strings everytime he plays this song and pulls it of so well .
This in not just pure talent. This is talent + working your ass off and practicing so hard every day to become the best in the World! That's what makes the difference.
the only person who can make me watch for 14 minutes
Thank god someone introduced him to tuners...

@@georgebowles6887why did I just see that video and this one for the first time when I've been a fan for 14 years? It's 2024!
I love how the string broke and he pulled it away like “Oh well then fuck you, string. I don't need you.”
+Jazmin Green This has actually happened a lot! He breaks a string in like every show he does. It's fucking awesome xD
+Tabloid Junkie I dig the Kurt Cobain Telecaster profile pic.
StrongStrummin' Whenever people ask about his guitar, I mention his telecasters. I dig your Strong Strumming.
+karrit1 perfect comment 😂😂
Jazmin Green "fuck you string i dont need you, you need me" 😂
ugghghghgh im from Austin and I missed this??!!
I want to cry also Stubbs is my favorite place
Can we just accept the fact that Ed can Rap
Ashley Hicks He's not a rapper he's a singer with a flow.
People always tell him that he should quit rapping and just focus on writing love songs, but he always says he won’t. Which is honestly a great thing. We need more artists like him that have a range of genres and that stay true to themselves. Hope he never stops.
@@from-a-venusian-closet "stick to singing to stop (w)rapping like it's Christmas" - Ed Sheeran - Remember the Name
He's so consistent! 11 years later and he still plays it perfectly the same. That's talent and proof he know what he's doing.
Is there a video of him doing the full version from the last few years?
He basically just improvised half the song based on the loop he had left. probably the best live artist I've ever seen

What a fucking performance!

I love this person with all my heart oh god im tearing up i love him sm
this is sick.. oh God that's pure talent over there.
he just sorta gathers up the entire audience and makes them all enjoy the music together and i think its really cool
It's crazy how you can just follow an artists gigs all around the world, chronologically. :)
Hot damn Ed! 12 years later, same crowd talk and music, but it’s just getting better!
I've seen him in a number of venues and he ALWAYS adapts. Really an awesome artist.
he has his own way of singing, writing, perfoming that's why i love him so so much wow
Dont mind me...Just back for my daily listen
Most well-spent 14 minutes of my life I never want back.

Giving me every single feeling there is.
The best live performance of any song ever in the history of ever.
