Milwaukee copied the knife design with 1/4 bit holder from Kershaw, I have both. I got the Kershaw knife with 1/4 bit holder back in 2008, i think 🤔. Milwaukee was not the original on the bit holder 😂
Milwaukee has a bottle opener built in. I often use the flat head bit to open electrical panels at work. And the newest generation of milwaukee has a ball and spring collar to hold the bit in place. I will have to buy the klein and give it a whirl.
I have that spring collar version and let me tell ya, one or two drops from the ladder that clip will eventually break off. Lost the original bit because it fell off the holder.
The ball popped out on mine and I tossed it in a bin. I have the kershaw select fire. It has everything the fastback does but a real knife blade which I like.
Milwaukee all day the double sided bit has save me from miles of walking to the truck to retrieve a screwdriver also flat head has opened at least a hundred cans of paint
Sweet now Milwaukee will come out with an even better fast back now one that’s will not only drive in a screw or cut a box or some cable but will be able to deliver 1800 in pounds of torque
I wanted Klein to be better, but people who actually use the screwdriver know that it has to be centered inline to be worth using. Milwaukee still takes it there
the only thing I wish the milwaukee had from the klein one is that secondary locking position. The removable impact rated bit holding feature is kind of cool too. I’ll still go with the milwaukee 6 in 1 for now, but I like other companies finally trying to offer similar versions
As a painter/handyman, this particular model of Fastback comes up short for two reasons. It holds one extra blade that is difficult to remove and the arm on the bit holder is not strong enough to open multiple cans of paint without breaking. The king of Fastbacks is the one with 5 blade storage.
As an electrician, when I saw the new Klein I had to go get it. I keep it on my pouch with the rest of my tools. I carry the Milwaukee with me at all times. Sad to say but Klein felt short of the fastback. I need both flat-head and Phillips option on the Milwaukee.
I don’t need an extra impact bit in my knife, I need a combo screwdriver for small adjustments. How else am I gonna adjust faceplate screws? That and the offset screw driver make this one a hard pass.
Only if it had blade storage, reversible bit and for after hours… the bottle opener 😂 Yours look new Mine after a few weeks looks like it was in ww3 I have 4 of them 😂
Title misleading. I was expecting the Klein to be better but the video proved Milwaukee is still the one to get! Milwaukee has over the Klein-Reversible bit, blade storage, easy flip, bottle opener, and 3 yrs going strong . Any questions!? 😂
I’ve used some Klein hand tools like the crimper, conduit reamer, and 11-1 multi bit as well as the 1/2 and 3/4 conduit benders. Love them all. I bought this fast back when I learned it came out and have had it the past few months. I loved it until last week. The impact rated magnetic bit holder broke. The shank separated from the bit holder. I tried looking for just the 1-5/8 mag bit holder but I don’t think they sell it seprately . I’d have to buy the knife again or just use it with the shorter bit holder attached to the knife. It’s not out of the question to buy a new one since I really enjoyed using it the past few months and it was handy on countless occasions. But for now I’m going to try the Milwaukee fastback as I also have enjoyed using other Milwaukee hand tools.
Idk why Milwaukee doesn't have the second lock position feature. They have had it on other fastbacks and it literally wouldn't cost them anything to have it on this model. It's just a little groove drilled into the little axle thing.
I just picked up one at Lowes as I'm switching from Packout to Modbox (switching stackables and some hand tools only. M12 is my powered ecosystem of choice with a few M18s) Very nice overall. I just had to open the bit holder a couple of times to break it in so it would lock but it's my new go to. I will admit that I got frustrated after about 20 seconds when the back cardstock kept tearing off in tiny confetti and reached for my old Milwaukee (no pun intended) to free it from the packaging 😅
Nobody beats Milwaukee fastback. everybody I know has one. It's gotta be Milwaukees number one selling tool I see them every where I go .... Hell even my wife has one.
The Klein looks like it might have the one handed opening and closing capability on the screwdriver end. Does it? If that's the case then the Klein is the winner in my book, except its lack of blade storage is a bummer.
If the Milwaukee driver were magnetic instead of the ball detent it would be perfect… mine broke. I use the Kershaw select fire now. It’s perfect and it holds any 4 - 1” bits you can find, uses a magnetic driver and it has a bottle opener. Love Kershaw blades too.
You've got over 16K, subscribers, so maybe it's time you film with a tripod, so you can use 2 hands in your reviews, versus, trying to do this one handed. It would flow better.
Milwaukee wasnt the first to do a flip utility knife or one with a driver and bottle opener :) Alot of the other flip utility knives are even smoother... The one thing Milwaukee does do, is put them all together and make them work well
I have the 6 in 1 Fastback that I carry everywhere and use on a daily basis, I'v researched the Kline, no blade storage, no Phillips/Flat bit which is a must have, half of the bit driver can be lost, has locking blade position the Fastback doesn't have which is nice but definitely not a must have. I will be staying with my Fastback. Ps. The bottle opener on the Fastback is completely useless for me as i also still EDC my Victorinox Swiss Champ that I bought in 1985.
Toughbuild came out with their own driver utility knife and it’s better than both! You can flick the driver out and smoother for the blade has two blade storage with easy access and retractable pry bar
Exceed tirant is my go to still. No screw driver but super light, ceramic bearing and the least amount of play in the blade ive seen. Expensive but it's lasted me.
Both aren't perfect. There are definitely things I would improve about both, mainly the bit holders and pocket clips. I personally like the Milwaukee more, I hope other them or companies improve the design so we get a better, more efficient product.
The uncentered Klein bit holder & extension is pointless and cheap feeling. The centered, double ended bit on the Milwaukee is a far better option for EDC
I like Klein💘but not as much as before😢, now they make lower quality products. As for this comparison, Milwaukee's is definitely even better. And even though Klein took the time to not only design and copy something but he couldn't improve it, reverse engineering didn't work🥺.

My spring collar disappeared just from pulling in and out of my pocket, made it through about 4 months
The ball popped out on mine and I tossed it in a bin. I have the kershaw select fire. It has everything the fastback does but a real knife blade which I like.

Hell yeah 👍

Yeah 100% that’s a major flaw on the Klein
Screwdriver is too wobbly on the Klein, unless you just don't use the adapter they give you
the only thing I wish the milwaukee had from the klein one is that secondary locking position. The removable impact rated bit holding feature is kind of cool too. I’ll still go with the milwaukee 6 in 1 for now, but I like other companies finally trying to offer similar versions

I have 4 of them 😂
Interestingly they all have a bottle opener if you know how
The fastback does hold a few blades

Came for the knives stayed for the commentary 😂

I remove the belt clips now. Had one break my phone screen once. And I also grind off the little nub on the fastback too.
Nobody beats Milwaukee fastback. everybody I know has one. It's gotta be Milwaukees number one selling tool I see them every where I go .... Hell even my wife has one.

*sees klein name*
"I NEEEEEEEEED IT"!
I'm pretty sure my buddy had a Kobalt blade many years ago. Not the razor blade but knife that was similar to the fastback
Yea I’ve had a Kobalt style “fastback” for about 4 years now. Still works perfect
I really like the dewalt fastback, it's hard to find in stoors too
No blade storage on the Klein is a deal breaker for me. In 2023 i refuse to use a blade that can't store spares.
You've got over 16K, subscribers, so maybe it's time you film with a tripod, so you can use 2 hands in your reviews, versus, trying to do this one handed. It would flow better.
Would a reversible bit fit inside the Kein knife?
It tried it falls out
Milwaukee wasnt the first to do a flip utility knife or one with a driver and bottle opener :)
Alot of the other flip utility knives are even smoother...
The one thing Milwaukee does do, is put them all together and make them work well
After using mi!waukee for 3 years, i dont see how other knife go again this, milwaukee clearly have more future
love the bottle opener on the milwaukee 1505
Unlike my ex, I like “small, short and slim” WorkPro stainless utility knives. My Fastbacks are toolbox queens now.
I have the 6 in 1 Fastback that I carry everywhere and use on a daily basis, I'v researched the Kline, no blade storage, no Phillips/Flat bit which is a must have, half of the bit driver can be lost, has locking blade position the Fastback doesn't have which is nice but definitely not a must have. i have like 1-2 milwaukee tools, so im not a fanboy, but the klein having a longer bit driver does not make it better, or "eat the milwaukee's lunch"
Would the dewalt 6 in 1 bit fit into the klein?
Does anybody have issues with the bit holder on the Milwaukee coming loose? And how to tighten it? Is it a screw or a rivet?
🙏✝️🙏amen🙏✝️🙏
the klein's driver isn't centered when open, making it the useless
hard to beat Milwaukee metal with 5 blade storage
I thought the Klein one was made out of aluminum?
No, its some kind of composite
Toughbuild came out with their own driver utility knife and it’s better than both! You can flick the driver out and smoother for the blade has two blade storage with easy access and retractable pry bar
I got bad news for you bro
Funny enough, I use the fast back more times to open beer bottles than to cut or screw things.
Ryobi has one now but no screwdriver.
Not a flip bit? That's kind of lame, might stick to the red one...
Check out the new toughbuilt 5 in 1. It beats the kleenex and milwakee
Exceed tirant is my go to still. No screw driver but super light, ceramic bearing and the least amount of play in the blade ive seen. Expensive but it's lasted me.
I’m gonna have to buy it just because the orange color is so nice! 😅🤣
Couldn’t pay attention with that nice blue power tool in the background 🤣😂
I didn't take me long to lose my bit tho, so carry extras
I Really wanted the Klein to be good. I took it out out of the package and gave the POS to my wife. I think it’s in my kitchen junk drawer. MILWAUKEE!
The kleins driver is not centered on the knife.....Milwaukee does.....I would rather have it centered
Fiskers still makes the best one
Oh that's gonna get lost in the first 30 seconds.
The Klein driver sucks. The removable driver will get lost and the single ended bit is a deal breaker.
I have the Klein and do not like it.
No backup blade? No bottle opener? No backup blade??? No Klein thanks, milwaukee 100% great video tho thx
Where can i get one?
Look up the description. Lowes
At a store.
#NEVERTHELESS #TEAMNOSLEEP 💤 💤 😴 😴
🏆 nevertheless!

take a walk on the beach with your new klein in your pocket it will impress the girls
😂 Funny as always
I hope you realize the Milwaukee has a bigger package, the Klein is wearing a strap on extension
I’ll stick with my old fastback with the blade storage. No need for a bit driver when I have plenty of screwdrivers.
Lmao 🤣 Respect 💪🏾🇺🇲
💪
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
Whoops he’s bigger.
Klein came up short. Great idea but just isn’t it
Doesn't look the like the Klein has a bottle opener. Epic fail. Eats lunch with no beverage.
😎⚒️😎⚒️😎
Milwaukee for the win
🛠️🛠️🛠️😎😎🏴☠️🏴☠️
No bottle opener 👎
i still like the fiskars version the best.
No flat head is poopy
