Ahoy Delos Tribe, we hope you enjoy this episode and a little glimpse into what boat life is really like...the highs and lows are so damn real. As you can see we got quite emotional to say goodbye to the one and only Hannah. Saying goodbye to crew is always difficult, but this one was extra tough after everything we'd been through and the suddenness of everything. We are happy to report that Hannah's mom is doing much better, but I'm sure she would love to read all your positive comments here 🫶 If you haven't already make sure and subscribe to Hannah's UA-cam Channel: ua-cam.com/channels/1GfZ625rUXIDzNuQ2hZasw.html If you're reading this, WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH HANNAH!
Sorry to say this, but I believe you have changed the way your record your videos or probably your editor is applying a filter, but it is not comfortably to watch your videos as it was before.
It was so emotional hearing your story Hannah. We're so relieved to hear your mum is doing ok, sending you our love and hugs. Great episode guys, and Hannah, we will miss you - adventurous, natural, calm, gorgeous, fun and oh so very capable....just the perfect crew member! Awesome lady!
During those rollie anchorages, could you just take a tent, sleeping bag and hit the beach. It's work but at least you sleep. Are there hammocks that can absorb the swing? Video of cliffs, just stunning. Great to see Nugs being a chatterbox 😊. I'm sure you connect with Grace from Calico. It is hard to see people come and go but we just add their new UA-cam channel and keep up. Blessings to Hannnah and healing for her mom! Your San Blas trip seemed so amazing, filled community of friends, calm but supplies near by. Or was that chaotic bring the scene? Thanks for taking us along in your travels. Blessings🎉
Well dang, one of my favorite channels getting a sponsorship from one of my favorite "hobbies". I'm not a Henson user, but hey, they do work for plenty of folks and are a great gateway into DE wet shaving. Awesome sponsorship. I think there's lots of overlap too, people watching Delos probably appreciate the eco friendly nature of a DE shaving system versus cartridges.
Brian- When I lifeguarded in Malibu growing up; we did NOT ALLOW the "Arm Floaties;" because they can pop. Get Sierra a bathing suit that contains Styrofoam Inserts. It gives her better floating abilities and eventually you start to remove them one by one as she learns to float. I have used them on 4 different kids over years.
How long can you sail around the world indefinitely with a child before ,the money runs out or education becomes a priority .Love the content ,being able to see places we’d never ever see . Thank you Uk
Kazza, Your tears made me smile. No, not because I am a horrible person, but because they were a reflection of how beloved Hannah is to your family and how she will be missed and it is a rare treasure for people to mesh that well. After weeks and weeks together in a very small space you are sorry to see her leave. That is truly wonderful and made me smile. I hope that Hannah's mom has recovered well.
Well, once again Kazza you have brought this land-lubber, land-locked Vermonter to tears with your vulnerable display of saying good-bye to Hannah. Love you all.
Thank you for sharing that moment you had the camera out and it hit you mid stride. I've watched it several times and was hit every time. And then the old stiff upper lip. Beautiful stuff Pomplamoosse!!!
Oh my gosh, what a beautiful country! You guys definitely had some incredible highs and then there we was the hanging balls low’s 😂 situation. Kazza you’re totally surprised exclamation of Brian’s “peeping toms” hanging out was hilarious. I felt your pain when Honna left. She is such a great match for your family. I send much love to her and her family as her mom has to heal from whatever it is she has. Sending love to the three of you. 🤟🏻💜🫶😎🐬⛵️🇺🇸
I've been binge watching your channel last few days like mad. I literally fell in love with sailing. Summer last year I bought my first small 22 footer, it was a disaster. Leaking everywhere. The fuel line for outboard motor was leaky, main sail didn't roll out. Everything went wrong with it. And when I finally managed to fix the fuel line, cross the sea into Amsterdam, just when I moored at the worst possible mooring, a huge storm came in and kept bashing me and my little boat against the wall, finally adding so much damage I had to get rid of it within next two weeks and suck up the losses. Then I was lucky enough to find a bigger boat, where I can actually stand inside. But it turned out that the engine was seized. So I had to accept the fact that at least until next season all I can do is learn more on UA-cam, maybe start getting experience by joining the crew somewhere first, and then I really hope one day to bump into you guys to personally tell you how much you are inspiring me to take the big leap of faith and follow my dreams of travelling the world for the rest of my life. Before I crashed this hard, I thought I already had it all, and that it can't go anywhere wrong. Oh boy, was I wrong. And now I see that I was simply being prepared to face even bigger challenges in life than the stress of living in a mad society, and chasing the ends along with a lot of mentally unstable people can bring altogether. And seeing how that challenge comes with best rewards one can imagine, I'm only anxious to actually leave the land as soon as possible. I wish you loads of smooth winds, and calm anchorages in 2024!
So many symbols and statues depicting procreative life everywhere. The islands are alive with life energy that is felt everywhere as magic that calls you back to it's beauty, comfort and serene song.
Love and Prayers for Hannah and all of the Delos Crew All over the world. God is real! God Loves! Your lives are testimony to the beauty of how God created the world and HIS awesome Magnificence.
Holy, what a moving video. Possibly the best video that I've ever seen (at sixty years old and with you tube premium, just sayin), verdad! Hoping Hannah and her family farewell, and you all can reunite soon enough. Nug is killing it omgoodness, love it!
Pacific Islanders are great caretakers. Have you ever considered bringing one on? Very competent, loving, and less expensive. It is part of their culture!
Authenticity ❤ Our hears ache sometimes....Humans are full of pain...and sometimes we cry. ALOT Some viewers won't get it, because they think the sun always shines on TV.
As I sit in my wife's home office watching the video I remember my youth. My family owned a power yacht and we spent most weekends and holidays working and cruising in San Francisco Bay Area. That was over six decades ago. The memories were good then and all I remember were the good memories. You are giving your daughter memories that very few people will ever have. Keep up the good work and travels. My wife and I do not sail but we travel part time with our off road travel trailer. Life is good.
Y’all have made my Friday night again! The nuggs is going to grow up being an old soul. As usual one of my favs is nuggs at the end. Woo hoo. Haha. Hope everything goes good with Hannahs mother.
What a lovely episode. So sad you had to leave the "oasis" it looked like the most perfect place to sleep over to me. I was just glad that the problem was Not a Coconut hitting someone. Remember the immediate cure for Mosquito & Noseeum bites - is TeaTreeOil. Sierras squeels are gaining volume, she was a delight here seeing her swimming & hiking 💓 Sorry Hannah had to go & hope her Mothers Ok.
Sad to see Hannah go, but thats the hard part about sailing life. The rest of your family is so far away. Hope her mom has recovered. The scenery there is mind blowing.
Land lubber tip, if you use a strop, the blades will last so much longer. I was doing a cleanup at a flip house and found a dinghy anchor just yesterday, one of the knuckle heads I was working with put it on the truck to take to the scrap yard. I thought I had an anchor, but it was lost to me also. I remember a show with your brother pointing out that your pickle was dangling out as you ran down an island street.
I'm glad the comments answered my fears. Hannah's mom is OK. Hopefully I am not wrong. I'm a grown man, and when kaza started crying so did I. I dunno why. But here I am. Wiping tears
Sooo Glad to hear Hannah's Mom is doing better. I know it was especially hard to say goodbye under those circumstances. Once again the Delos crew has taken me to another place to add to my bucket list, thank you for letting us come along to see these beautiful places. fair winds, and following seas, and not roley anchorages lol. your friend Will
It’s wonderful to her your little become more vocal. Wish my 21 & 12 were her age again. “My pee pee” 😂 beautiful video once again love the drone shots. Get well soon Hannah’s mum 💚 take care be safe x
Dear delos You have had some of the best crews over these 13 years of sailing and yes, there has been some ups n downs, to Hana, it's going to hurt seeing you needing to go home. Your going to be missed, but never forgotten 💔😢. Love 💘 ya hun, travel safe , 💖💕❤😘
I was living in Spain when my father became really ill, and I had no choice but to give up that dream life to dedicate time to family, I have never made it back but family is family. We will miss Hannah and many hope all goes well for her and her family and that we get to see her again.
It's amazing the way we, on this side of the screen, get attached not only to Delos family, but also to your crew along the way. Believe it or not, I am crying right now as much as you did, Kaza. Goodbyes are terrible to deal with. And I don't even know any one of you really. So, I guess it must be devastating to live so close with someone for so long and having to say goodbye without a warning. Well, fair winds for the next times. Really like to follow you. Thanks for sharing.
I agree. It's a trip on the mental, it feels like these people leave our lives too. I was lucky enough to take Brady & Blue's CA1 sailing course, and that was a trip as well. Meeting people you feel like are your best friends but really you're just a stranger to them. They were awesome though and treated me like we'd been friends forever. If only I could find friends to feel this way about in day to day life...
Ive watched you both say goodbye to many people over the years and no it don't get any easier. Would love to see those from the past again. Prayers to Hannah's mom
I was just watching a movie that was mostly shot in the Bora Bora lagoon. Even though it is about 977 miles away, the rock formations strongly resemble each other. That's between Bora Bora, French Polynesia and the big island of the Marquesa.
Great way to end the video with Hannah falling off of Maggie! I haven’t laughed that loud in a long time. Thank you for being vulnerable. I don’t know how you all do it, because I know I would have such a hard time saying see you later to so many people I love.
Hannah's joy for life, her enthusiasm and infectious laugh were a joy to watch. I hope she comes back. Sorry to hear about her Mum. I lost mine and she def made the right decision to go back. I was with Mum when she passed and though it sometimes haunts me, I hope it was some comfort for her. cheers.
Kazza, Brian & Sierra. You have lost two awesome crew members in a short amount.of time. I wish them well and would love to see them again. Thanks for sharing your journey. You guys rock! ❤
Omg Kazza. Your reaction to hannah leaving got me in the feels. 😭😭 I lost it. that’s love right there. I know these videos are behind current times but I’m hoping Hannah can come back, if not for a proper planned goodbye. Wishing all of you the best. 😘
The open and honest feeelings of a crewmember got to me. Allowing me to see your reaction - to be a part of that was catching. You are brave to share that! I´m crying. Out.
Somewhere around third grade, I took an interest in knots. I only learned around 20, but they've proven indispensable throughout my entire life, from a life waterskiing on the lake to outdoor church camp counselor to a career in the Air Force to running an outdoor adventure group to camping with my son. I've even been asked to teach knot-tying skills to Boy Scouts. :) On a canoe trip down the Shenandoah River (church camp), I was responsible for 12 young campers occupying 6 canoes. After almost losing my own canoe while trying to help 2 young people regain access to their canoe, I spent most of our lunch stop tying a modified version of a barrel knot around a sizeable rock. After using it a couple more times to anchor the boat, I improved upon it to where even a round rock couldn't slide out. Essentially, I fashioned the rope into a net around the rock, which I then tied closed. Here's the best think about it: Round rocks don't poke holes in an inflatable dinghy. I got the idea from the rope weaves covering the glass balls used in fishing and bait traps... Last century!
This is what makes me follow you guys: from the sailing skills and expertise you display to the raw emotions that happen! It is just so real. Thanks for your vid’s! Keep’em coming!😊
I pray Hannah's mom gets better she is a awesome woman family comes first and cruising lifestyle or non cruising lifestyle you have to say alot of goodbyes
Wow, what an episode!! The editing and footage was next level! LOVED IT! Oh and Brian, put your dangling bits away lol. This is the second time now that you've been caught going commando.... Love you guys!!
What a bummer losing Hannah so soon, hopefully she can find her way back sooner than later. Going to miss you on Delos Hannah, but I've subscribed, looking forward to see what you have in store for us! Super glad to hear your mom is doing better!!
Such a shame to loose Hannah, a true friend & source of huge amusement, what’s more a flipping good sailor & someone you really need on board on these epic trips, safe harbour everyone 🇬🇧

Yes, and the arm floaties are so cumbersome. Surprised this little girl isn’t swimming by now.
@@KhouryNatalie She would be without the arm floaties. Both my daughters were water safe before 2 yrs old using the Styrofoam bathing suits.
@@KhouryNatalie your mother clearly drank all the beer in your village while she was pregnant with you
Generations of children managed just fine with floaties. Why are you struggling to manage your feelings?
I'm catching up on videos, I've been along for the whole 13 years. I'm glad to read the Hannah's mom is doing OK.
Your boat is equipped with those massive spinnaker poles. Why not get a set of flopper stoppers for bad anchorages?
Praying for Hannah’s mom 🥺💞 I hope she has recovered.

Why not use a stern anchor to hold the boat bow on to the waves?
Why no flopper stoppers for rolly anchorages?

Let's go! Best sailing channel hands down!
What a bummer losing Hannah so soon, hopefully she can find her way back sooner than later. Going to miss you on Delos Hannah, but I've subscribed, looking forward to see what you have in store for us! Super glad to hear your mom is doing better!!
Hannah was so good at everything sailing. So smart, wonderful, & positive. Hope her Mom is going to be ok.
Such a shame to loose Hannah, a true friend & source of huge amusement, what’s more a flipping good sailor & someone you really need on board on these epic trips, safe harbour everyone 🇬🇧
I hate goodbyes, but I love your channel, your family, your adventures. Thank you, Hannah, for many good memories and awesome sailing help.
