I was going to say this! My boyfriend got my couple toothbrushes that had hearts in the bristles and didn’t want to use them and throw them away so I framed them and now it’s bathroom decor 😤

That wine rack idea plus spray painting it with the color you wanted was such an aesthetically pleasing idea oo!! I've also been re-organizing a lot of my art supplies. It's hard to donate some of them sometimes or buy new ones because I always end up wanting to use up my large backlog of supplies before buying anything new haha. Your re-organized shelves as so pretty!
Same! That’s why in the end I just decided I’ll give away repeat materials, or ones that I know I will literally never use :,) better than letting it dry out !!

The horizontal organizer looks so good! Def a better way to see everything when it comes to different colors of pens. I love that it's a recycled wine bottle holder too! I feel like thrift stores are full of those cause people don't know what else to do with them than hold wine.

That wine rack is a really clever idea! Plus it is SO satisfying to look at with all the pens and pencils on 😍
Just a tip. When the surface is so dark, try to use a white primer and then the color. To avoid the drippping just keep quite a distance and never release the paint in the object, you have to release the paint outside and then move it to the object. Allways like this: release out, move in until the end, just stop releasing the paint when you have moved out the object completely.

I have the issue of owning so many different kinds of watercolours and not wanting to get rid of any of them. I also have so much arteza gouache and I need to sort through them... but I don't want to get rid of any colours because WHAT IF I NEED IT SOMEDAY??????

What a great idea with the wine rack, it looks wonderful and also so handy! It's so much easier to use the supplies if they're easy to get too, nothing kills the creative spirit than having to look for what you want to use 🙃

I always like to mention that the best way to store paint is upside down so the paint goes out rather than drying in the tube/bottle. Even though mine currently live in a bucket...

If you ever spray paint again, after you sand the object it's good to wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol to get all the dust from the sanding off really well, then I would recommend one or two coats of a primer spray paint before adding the color so it's more vibrant, then finish with a sealant top coat to protect the color.

The wine rack is so genius! 😍 I like that idea and I've been doing the same thing with my stuff. A few months ago I bought weave storage baskets and try to save these plastic storage that some food come in for display. They're organizing my bathroom because I have so much bathroom stuff. I also use these containers for treats, cookies, etc to hold my vitamins. 😅 Whatever works is the best way to go. 😊

I put all my uniposca paint pens in a clear makeup drawer organizer thing that is amazing. I can separate them by point size and see what’s inside each drawer.

brb now on the hunt for a wine rack like that haha. chartreuse is my fav colour too, olive in close second. In my experience, wood takes handpainting better than spray paint unless you even it out with a different primer first. The layers are just too thin i think. it turned out great though! and those drawer handles :O i'm so jealous. need to get my act together and redo my studio

Hi from Quebec, Canada ! Thanks fo feeding my addiction with decluttering and organizing ! This was ASMR all the way for me ! Hahaha I have the same struggle with Brushes. I have too many and basically all the same. I have that one brush that I have had for YEARS and it is in my "collection jar" because its the first and only fancy brush i have and its was given to me from a very dear friend of mine and an amazing artist who lives in Ukraine so I cherish this brush just as much as I cherish our friendship. So yeah juge me for having a "collection" jar with things I never use because its just such a treasure to me. Hahaha

Hey Tiffany, if you want to eliminate spray paint drips, just use wet sanding paper. Ask at the hardware store the correct grit, but you can get a great finish with wet sanding. It's even a good idea to varnish afterwards so the paint surface doesn't get scratched from the pens and markers over time. HTH! ❤
