At least everyone can see personas unluke stands where it looks like two guys are just staring at each othwr dramatically from an outsiders perspective.
Anyone who summons their Persona in the real world, to those who don’t have a Persona, they go all like “what?”. However, justifying Persona 3-5, the Dark Hour, TV World, and Mementos aren’t reality, so even a non Persona user can see others’ Personas in those circumstances.

The way his voice changes from calculated to psychotic. It sounds pained. Like he has nothing left aside killing the Phantom Thieves. Like that is the only thing that will hive his life meaning. It's sad, really.
u can also see that in his dancing DLC song symbolising the fight between them.
like before fevertime you can see him actually calling out with a pained expression before (depending on the ffever partner you choose) he ether fgoes back to his good boi act (like by makoto and futaba ) before soon afterwards revieling his true personality , and by joker showig his true personality from the very beginning and them "fighting\dancing" in a kind of sync like they are on the same level or a better level of understanding each others steanghts where by makoto/futaba its the fever psrtner trying to catch him while he thinks hes cool and dodges .What even was my point . . i completly forgot
Harry Guidotti a year late but you can also see it in his attacks in his second form. His multi-target attacks are 2nd tier skills that barely do any damage to a well-leveled team, and he tries to reflect attacks back at you only to fail because he can only reflect one at a time against the usual party of four.
He’s overextended. He only really meant to kill Joker, and now that he’s fighting the whole team (usually lol) he’s getting overwhelmed... and that just makes him angrier and more desperate.

The second half of the fight really makes Akechi look feeble. He isn't doing any damage to Joker in the slightest while Joker widdles Akechi into nothing. Joker truly a Master Phantom Theif.

Thematically, I want Joker to destroy Akechi by really making Akechi’s attacks look dangerous but are actually feeble and pathetic in comparison.
I can picture Akechi, broken and battered, trying to flail screaming: “Why? Why are you looking at me like that? I’ve succeeded til now, all by myself.” Joker then takes his dagger and stabs Akechi in his left eye, permanently scarring it.

FINALLY. Thank you for this. I have been searching for a video putting joker vs crow with Arsene vs Robin hood. It gives the fight more meaning and i just feel like this is one of the persona fights you should do alone. The fight between the two is pretty much the big turning point in the game with them both being participants in Yaldabaoths game.

Dark Knight I mean it'd only make sense because he's the second wild card and he's basically Evil joker and that fight is more personal than what the game makes it to be
Hmm... On one hand, it would be interesting with their contrast, but on the other, it wouldn't support the main team's kinda argument here- Akechi wouldn't be able to win, but not due to the fact that the other wild card has a team, but just out of superiority- he wouldn't be able to take as much from it.
Akechi also has the wild card, but can't use it as well as Akechi as he only has the one genuine bond. (His bond with Joker.) I'd like to see Akira take on Robin Hood with Just Aresene and then when Akechi pulls out Loki Joker is forced to use every persona at his disposal, relying on the bond with his friends. This actually sells the point better, as it's not just Akechi lost to numbers, but Akechi lost to someone who was probably overall inferior to him because he properly forged bonds and used the Wild Card to it's fullest potential.

This fight reminds me so much of Adachi and his boss fight,
Mona calling Goro a ,,Little kid who's throwing a temper tantrum,, Just like in Persona 4.
