Marvelous craftsmanship and attention to detail, but they only make 10 30-bowl sets per year. 300 bowls per year is less than a bowl per day with two months off. I wonder how much they charge for these exquisite sets.
Charging for the sets? Probably a lot, but the profit they make is probably not very much, which is why these kinds of things are dying out. Not because people don't want to do it anymore, but because you barely get paid enough to live.
@@jtorola its not hard to turn a wood bowl. its hard to turn 30 wood bowls that fit in each other with a flush height, and apply over 10 coatings to each of them with all of them having the same colour
If you have been to Korea you know in some cases PPE isn't utilized as often especially if they are spearheading their own affairs. Everyone worried about eye protection. The man said he has been doing this for 25 yrs, if he was concerned or worried he definitely would be wearing it. Lol
