I find it crazy that it's cheaper for the new Shinkansen to be mostly underground. Normally that is far more expensive.
I initially thought the new Sydney tower was a little presumptuous in being called a mega project, but with no two rooms being alike, and that facade, it'll be a logistical and design nightmare!
I think of the selection, ITER is definitely my favourite and hope that it accomplishes its goals and runs to schedule so that the next step (DEMO) will prove its worth.
Very nice video, some great, huge projects. Top notch 👌🏼

I would request the owner to introspect on why he felt necessary to mention about the controversies in Africa regarding the dam project when there are controversies surrounding each one of those projects . Generally, I have noted that it is difficult for most people to talk about engineering marvels in Africa or India without mentioning the downsides (even if the video is about engineering and not an in depth research on the pros and cons). Most times this happens subconsciously and the author is probably not aware of his / her biases. Requesting the owner of this video to introspect.
