@@cia_di you made a claim stating that we don't say "carib" when in reality we use the term "carib" far more often than we say "kalinago". Regardless of the history behind the word, we still do use it and not in a derogative way.
It's the same how when black Americans or black people overall still refer to their brethren as "nigga" even though it's original meaning was meant to degrade and oppress black people.
