Thanks for the comment Andrew glad they are of help. I'm coming up to 4 years of ownership in a few months and apart from a few niggles and general maintenance I've really enjoyed ownership. I'll be making more videos very soon. I hope you enjoy your car Cheers David
Slybunda asked the question (1 year ago) re: fuse for alternator and you replied with "Yes there is, it's located in the engine bay fuse box, it's a 5A fuse and is number 20 (ALT)" On your video when you open the engine bay fuse box there's no fuse in there, is there a reason why? I have the same vehicle and I don't have the fuse in place either. Very useful video, many thanks.
Well spotted. I answered the question by consulting the owners manual. I've just had a look at the fuse box and as you say the fuse is missing. I'll have to look a bit deeper but I suspect it is probably protected by a fusible link. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks David
Hi Dave any help would be appreciated I have a 2012 sport.sometimes the front wipers don’t work I’ve checked the bladed fuse but seems ok was wondering how you had any problems like this the rear wiper always works no problem
Hi Brendan, I haven't had any problem with the wipers. It sounds like a bad contact or maybe dodgy wire. If you have a multimeter it may be worth checking continuity in the wires. Not sure it would help but maybe a diagnostics would show a problem. I have a diagnostics and will check it out over the weekend and let you know.
I don't think there is a fuse for the indicators, at least I can't find one listed on the fuse diagram. They are probably controlled by one of the modules. I would check that there is no break in the wires on the indicator switch first.
Hello mate so after getting my Range Rover delivered it came while I was out so my sister took delivery of it but when I got back to my disbelief the car wasn’t as what the seller described the rear brakes had seized the brake flexi hose drivers side had a split them have been sorted I’m hoping the gearbox service is will sort out my gearbox issue as I’m not looking forward to having that replaced as for a second hand gearbox is £200 and a transfer box is £75 then there’s the delivery and fitting me bill just keeps going up but hay ho the joys of owning a RR and not being mechanically minded can you tell me please what colour is the fuse for the wing mirrors as they don’t seem to work Many thanks
Hi George, sorry to hear you're having a few problems, hope you can get them sorted. The fuse is in the passenger side fuse box and is fuse 32 White and is a 25amp fuse. Incidentally this fuse is also for the Drivers window and central locking. Hope this helps. Cheers David
I haven't heard of any, however there are a few Range Rover clubs which I believe have area meets rrr.co.uk/members-only/ There are also facebook groups but not sure if they do meets. David
Hi James, I'm not sure I can be of help. I suppose a diagnostic scan should show if the unit is faulty, before you start removing stuff. It may be worth checking on a forum or two, someone may have had the same issue. Ive found a good one to be www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/ Hope you can get it sorted David
Which ECU fuse do you need to unplug / plug back in to turn the engine management light off or reset it? Mine is still on despite the problem being fixed.
I can't give you a definite answer. I've read that disconnecting the battery for a while and touching the leads together will reset the ECUs, but I'd read up before doing so. What was the issue? Personally I would have a diagnostics done to make sure the issue Has been resolved, they could then reset the ECU. The engine ECU Fuse is in the engine bay fuse box and is number 27 is a 5amp fuse and tan in colour. Sorry I can't be any clearer, hope you can get it sorted.

There are a few videos out there as to the location of the Module if you need it ( I should make one myself) Glad you like the videos, means a lot.....more coming soon (been busy lately)
Hi David, I'm not aware of a relay. You only need one sensor to be faulty and you will not get any proximity beep at all, from what I understand. So are all your sensors 'ticking' when you put your hand close? Check out the attached videos which may help.... ua-cam.com/video/M2AxSOX7QgI/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/sBrlKjFG6s0/v-deo.html I hope you can get it sorted. Regards David
