What is Dalot better at than AwB? And don’t just say attacking because that is BS. AwB is the only player in our team aside from Gernacho that takes on players.. he is a progressive passer and retains the ball better than damn near anyone in our team. Don’t have a kneejerk reaction, think and compare
Todibo was a released from barca due to disciple issue's. Idk if he's changed but if united should be cautious with these players. We have enough drama queens in our team already
Varane is our best CB and best box defender in the league. With new defensive signings coming in 1 more year of Varane would be invaluable experience to learn from.
defensively yes, he is our best defender however best ability is availability and esp on those wages. He gotta go and we should sign someone with fresher legs as we really lack pace in cb. A younger varane would have been perfect. Cb i would look for is Todibo or Danso. Both got the attributes to fit in right side cb and both available for reasonable fees.
@@mohammadsawlih3869agreed. Just because he may be one of the best defenders in the squad doesn’t mean we keep him. We should be looking at the shape of the entire squad and make the best decision.
You are wrong about AWB being poor on the ball, when we have a structure to play out the back AWB is one of the best players at it. Keeps it simple and has good movement off the ball, i say we keep AWB.
His positioning is a big defensive liability. He can’t play inverted wingback or inverted full back. His crossing is inconsistent. He needs to be sold.
Exactly, Left back is far bigger issue. Shaw is not good enough performance or fitness wise. We need a LB who is quick and physical capable of playing cb too such as Toti Gomes or Bassey. Because ideally when in possesion in our back 3 youd want martinez central with the LB tucking in to form 3.
He’s good on the ball I agree But the amount of misplaced passes I’ve seen him miss is ridiculous plus his back post marking is awful Tbf I don’t mind him as a back up because he would be a great backup
Ideal shaw upgrades would be Toti Gomes or Calvin bassey as simiarly theyre physical left footed defenders that can operate cb and Lb but additionally theyre faster and better 1v1 defenders. Theyd allow us to keep martinez as the central cb in the back 3 alongside a new right sided cb such as Todibo, Danso etc when in possesion with the dalot inverting or overlapping.
AWB is not just terrible as a team possession player but his defensive positioning is abysmal. He intentionally misposition himself so that he can get the perfect tackling opportunity. But when he doesn't find that opportunity he just backs off , thats why on the stats it may seem like no player has dribbled past him yet it's so inept for the team as a whole thus Ten Hag prefers Dalot whose side tackle might not be as good but his position is on point.
@@AtlantisFootball you put Casemiro in there though, mufc we'll complain of Age whereas players like Giggs and Scholes played for us till they were like 36 plus Casemiro is an asset he's just in a team that's structured poorly and has to cover Mid and Defense and score goals
Nice analysis. However, considering Utd's needs elsewhere (eg up to 2 quality midfielders + a no.9 backup, at least), and FFP, how about Utd: - Negotiate Varane's wages down for a 1 or 2 year extension, - Likewise for Lindelof & Evans, - Sell all the other defenders you list, - Buy all you suggest, except Todibo. Left fb: Theo/Shaw (Dalot/Malacia) Left centre: Martinez/Shaw (Evans/Lindelof) Right centre: Varane/Simakan (Kambwala) Right fb: Dalot/Simakan Use the £40-45m Todibo cash on mid.
todibo is definitely coming as our owners also own nice it would be an easy deal at a more than likely discounted price, if anything we should be spending smart so todibo and simakan should be our priorities as we definitely need at least 2 new center backs, and focus on the rest of the team as a priority. any cash/funds we have left should THEN go towards another RB or LB
I would keep dalot and awb. While playing against strong teams, I would play awb as rb and dalot as rm/rw. Rather I will sell Sancho and maguire for a decent centre back to pair with licha. I would sell donny and casemiro for a decent left back and I would sell martial, eriksen and malacia and add some bucks for a decent midfielder to pair with kobe and finally I would spend a decent amount for a young forward.
The idea is brilliant, but Dalot has developed a lot at the IWB role and moving him to the wide CB role is not a good idea plus ,Dalot and Garnacho were starting to understand each other while his inverting ability helps in the build up . Always love the analysis 💯🔥🔥.
@@AtlantisFootball But that is evened out with last year when he hardly had an injury. But even w/o the broken leg, he's had 18 other injuries in his united career. That's like 2-3 a season on avg. if you discount the season were he broke his leg. Unreliable unfortunately.
I personally think we need 2 CBs if we're to start challenging for anything preferably tapsoba and inacio, those 2 have the composure, technical abilities and speed to help us play better from the back and control the game better..martinez seem to really be battling with the injury problems and lets be honest might never retain his top form again
We should sign a right sided CB preferable with physical attributes (height, pace, strength) and 1v1 ability such as Todibo or Danso. The other defender should be left footed and capable of Cb and Lb such as Toti gomes or Bassey. Solving both Cb and Lb issues.
Theo, Malacia, Lisandro, Shaw, Todibo, Varane, Dalot, and Simakan is a seriously good defensive unit. Keep one of Evans/Lindelof as depth and Kambwala and we’re set. I really like the look of Geertruida as an alternative to Simakan, might be a little cheaper and he’s sooo good playing centrally and defensively while also being able to play CB.
Before any of this happens, UTD needs a manager who actually has a clear playing style in mind. Someone like Ange , he came in with a clear vision and right out of the gate he implemented those ideas at Tottenham.
He actually is press resistant.... Because he looks awkward or unplesant on the eyes ... It makes you look down on his.. AWB is actually a good dribbler and Keeps the ball well under pressure he is press resistent@@AtlantisFootball
Not keen on Theo. Thats a win major shit now type of signing imo. The question I ask myself is, do I see us winning a PL or UCL within 3 years? My answer would be probably not. Which would leave us in situation with a 30 year old full back on ridiculous wages. I think the profile we need to be looking for is 23 year old or younger and ideally someone who's not had a massive contract yet. Besides it would weird getting all this new structure at board level, finally getting a DoF, new scouts to do a Ed Woodward level signing.
@@AtlantisFootball We don't have the squad mate. 😔 We need open heart surgery and then *HOPE* Liverpool and especially Man City, drop off a cliff in terms of quality. Call it greedy but I don't want us to win one title and then fizzle out for another decade. I would rather us wait a little longer if it meant we created a dynasty of continuous success. With where we are now and how much work needs to be done. Im not sure a signing like Theo Hernandez isn't indicative of dynasty.
@@-_-DatDude yeah we do. We just need a good summer transfer window and then we can compete. A better manager improves those players and takes them to another level
Theo Hernandez is one of the worst options considering that so many positions will have to be filled with new players. Also there are many cheaper and more PL adapted options, which I think will be what INEOS will look for with the new DoF+HoR. Also lack of box defending expertise is an issue with what you propose, so I don't really see how it would work.
Someone like Jarred Branthwaite is a must. He can play both LCB & RCB. Keep Varane for another year or two. Keep Evans for another year aswell. Kambwala should get more oppertunities next season aswell. Wan Bissaka is worth keeping while a new LB like Antonee Robinson or Alfie Doughty would be ideal aswell. Patrick Dorgu is another interesting option
We are so far behind the elite teams in the league at the moment we need a complete overhaul over the next two summer transfer windows. This summer alone we are probably looking at 5-6 new players and maybe 10-12 departures. The most likely similar numbers next summer. We need two center backs to replace Maguire, Evans, and Lindelof, who are both physically dominant and technically sound, to allow us to control the game. We need two center midfielders to replace Amrabat, Eriksen, and McTominay, ideally a number 6 and a number 8, who are both press resistant and technically sound, to allow us improve in transition and further control the game. And we need at least one forward, perhaps two, given that Martial, Sancho, Pellistri, and hopefully Anthony will be moved on. Either a versatile center forward that can on either flank such as Mattheus Cunha that can provide cover for Hojlund and our wide forwards, or a center forward that can provide cover for Hojlund and a versatile winger that can provide cover for both flanks. Then ideally we need a young left back to provide for Shaw, and a young right back to provide cover for Dalot. But I don't think that will happen all in one summer transfer window. Most likely we will look to defer one or two positions until the next summer transfer window. Given there will be so many changes this summer, it would make sense to keep Casemiro and Varane another season. We need leaders in the squad and along with Martinez, they are the only leaders we have at the moment. They both have vast experience, Casemiro was our best centre midfielder by a distance last season, and Varane is comfortably our best center back this season. Keeping those two will also keep pressure off new signings. Next summer, it would be sensible to allow Casemiro and Varane to leave, since we would have been able to give our new signings in those areas a full season to settle without too much pressure. We would still need to replace them within the squad, but we would be able to replace them with younger players that could provide cover for the center backs and center midfielders we signed the previous summer, that would hopefully be established as first choice. Then we would need to resolve the positions that we deferred the previous summer, which could possibly be the full back positions. And finally we would need a star forward to replace Rashford, and potentially a number 10 to replace Bruno.
The issue I see comes down to funds. The squad needs 2 6’s (if Casemiro leaves), an 8 to play behind Mainoo (assuming Mount is the backup to Bruno) a RW and another striker. There are likely too many holes in the team to spend big money on any one individual player.
Simican and tobido and great options, but Theo would cost too much, but also a great option, And if this 3 comes in, and we sign onaana, damn that's a golden
We need to PRIORITISE. Selling Wan Bissaka is unnecessary, especially since we have more issues on the other side of defence. What we NEED is a striker as Martial is injury prone. A left back as Shaw is injury prone & Malacia doesn't seem to be reliable. A centre back as we have injury prone players there. We also need a central midfielder to partner Mainoo. Eriksen is basically semi-retired, Amrabat hasn't been convincing, Casemiro is past it & Mctominay shouldn't play deep.
Mate we are 100% not offering AWB a contract extension that’s crazy. He’s not going to suit the style of the next coach coming in. I don’t know what the obsession with him is. Simakan is far better
@AtlantisFootball my main point is we have bigger issues in other areas. We moreso need a LB, ST, RW, CB & CM. For now, I'd renew AWB as it's less hassle than signing a new RB.
@@michael43567 But Simakan can play that role as well as CB perfectly fine. AWB is not going to suit the next managers style of play. Giving him a new contract is terrible business, the exact mistakes we've made previous. Would have a player on fairly big wages for the next 3/4 years
I will agree but if verane can take pay cut I keep him for another year , todibo might not hit the ground running , just like I said we shouldn’t have throw away David , nothing on onana we should have kept David for another year I’m sure does goals that knocked us out of champions league would have saved them . We gotta be careful what we wish for 😊
AWB and Casemiro will stay 1 more season i think. players that really need to go: Varane, Martial, Maguire, Rashford, Sancho, Lindolof, Eriksen Players in: 2 CB, 1LB, 1MD, 1ST
tbh is time for us to forget about Fernandes. It´s nice to have a playmaker, but he just goes missing in 70% of the games, mainly if u compare him to Wirtz and KdB. I think modern football demands more of a good versatile 3-man midfield, rather than having a CAM, unless u have sublime talent, like the 2 i´ve said before. Just look at Inter´s midfield
He only goes missing becahse the system he’s in is terrible. Under Ole he was our best player. He still has created the highest XAG in the league. In another system under another manager Bruno can be a title winning player
Great video, after seeing this and a video about Simone Inzaghi. How they attack, interchange positions, defend, Inter is cooking this season, 69 goals and only 13 conceded. I hope, if Ten Hag goes, Inzaghi will be the next manager at United.
Dope video. I have some qualms though - Why would Theo go to United from Milan at the moment (seems like a sideways/backwards move)? Stinks of those signings where a player only comes to us for a huge wage - Personally, I would like to see United be more adventurous and bring in players we are not too familiar who then surprise us. That's where the real value transfers are found I think
Nah Man Utd is defo a forward move compared to Milan. He’s on a fairly low salary at Milan, plus it’s Man Utd and the premier league and Man Utd under new ownership and possibly a new manager as well
But if you bring in players who aren’t as well known, they also may not be as developed. You won’t find a LB as good as Theo for less than £40m in the current market. Might take them 3 or 4 years to get anywhere near his level
Nah he can’t. He’s not got the technical ability to play centrally. Has to play as a RB in a back 4 or in a more pragmatic system maybe as a RCB. But United aren’t going to get that type of manager
LB has to stay upfront to hold width since Rashford likes to run inside, so we need LCB who can cover lateral space and is strong in 1v1 duel. someone like Lucumi or Lukeba. I want to see how Licha fares as an LB, could definitely perform as a better left-sided Ben White. with speedy LCB and Dalot as well a good defensive anchor in front, I think Maguire could perform better as RCB-turned-CCB in high D-line in possession. or rather, replace him with a right footed space defender with great recovery pace like Saliba rather than an aggressor like Todibo.
i disagree, Rashford is much better outwide when receiving the ball facing goal, it also allows him to creep in as he usually does drifting in from left to central positions with his pace and movement. In terms of licha, he hasnt got the pace or physicality to defend wide channels, hes much more suited in central areas. Its best to keep our best players in their best positions. Its best to have the LB tuck into a back 3 with dalot inverting or overlapping.
I agree but only if Toti gomes or Bassey are signed for LB to provide some physicality in the backline otherwise no because that back 4 would be too small.
The problem is united want to compete now. Without laying the groundwork and united fans are impatient. We need to take our time. And build slowing and gradually start competing at top level. Look at Chelsea they throw money at players and they are all over the place. Liverpool, arsenal and city have taken there time signing the right players not names. But players that fit a system they want to run.
No way. He’s got one year left on his contract. How is he improving, he was literally at fault for giving away the ball vs Liverpool. Even if he’s improving he’s never gonna be at the level needed
Well I agree with you that ALL the people you mentioned need robbed sold this summer. I am not sure about your choices to bring in. As a general rule I don't think we should be hiring anyone over 25. Unless they are the absolute finishing piece. And we need a lot of fresh bodies. Better to buy people who are easy to sell. But I will have to look more into the guys you mentioned I am unfamiliar with them.
Are you good? Looking at Chelsea hasn't taught you anything apparently. Can't buy players exclusively that young. Couple of 25-27 year old are also needed. I want Wirtz to replace Bruno but it won't happen I'm sure
@wrath8704 well I agree, thats why I said in general, there can be exceptions but it really should be rare. Your paying the highest price, and any day they could start having injury oroblems.
@AtlantisFootball my very opinionated opinion on the age of 27 is that it's the best age to sell at as you get the biggest price, and they have increasing risk going forward of injury or general decline. Also no matter who you are, you run better at 20 than at 27. And I believe at a strategic level you are better off buying younger lesser expensive players who can run and be coached to work cohesively as team than try to build a team of finished articles. You will have a deeper more reliable bench, which let's you win more games overall in a season, which at the end of the season is what nets you 1st place. I don't thinknwe should be buying many finished articles. Better to buy them cheaper, and add value to them with our training. We get a deeper squad, as well as an ongoing revenue stream from selling improved players. This seems a much more reliable and constantly improving system to me.
Yeah but with Shaw you’d have to think about the homegrown player rule and Lindelof wouldn’t really bring in enough money to then replace him as a squad player adequately. Would rather just keep them for one more year becahse even when keeping them we still need like 6/7 signings minimum
You´d spend pretty much our entire budget with those signings. We need at least a couple more midfielders and a RW. We have to be smarter in the Summer, we can´t be spending 70M on a 27 year old LB.
@@AtlantisFootballmate we´re not selling Rashford, i can´t see how we get more than 15M for Mason, not even that, only one year left on his contract, spanish teams are broke and everyone knows United is desperate to sell. Getting rid of Mason is just a dumb move but we´re still gonna do it. Sancho is a problem, shite at Dortmund and massive wage and re McTominay i´ll believe it when i see it, we´re probably gonna keep him.
@@AtlantisFootballi know Theo is world class, i just don´t think we´ll spend a massive amount on a LB when we need at the very minimum 6 quality players.
Why would United waste money on a left-back when they have Shaw and Malacia plus Harry Amass at 17 year-old. Shaw was the best left-back in the PL last season. Players get injured it's part of football. The midfield is where United need to be looking. It's been walked through every game near enough. The only midfielders worth keeping are Mainoo, Mount and McTominay .
Because Shaw and Malacia are injury prone and Amass is 17. Theo is also world class and offers a completely different dimension to United’s ball progression from the defensive to the middle and middle to the final third and creativity in attack in the final third. Those 3 can’t offer what Theo can. He’s essentially an attacking player
@@AtlantisFootball Luke Shaw played 47 games 20/21 season 27 games 21/22 and 47 games 22/23 hardly injury prone is he. So you would waste £50- £60 million most of United's budget on a left-back which they don't really need. Midfield is where United need to be looking it's been useless. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said in an interview today he's not going to be buying this type of player. So it's not going to happen.
@@chriswood753 we definitely need a left back. It’s not just about position, it’s what they offer to the team. Theo is exactly the type of player United need. Luke Shaw is unreliable, you cannot go into next season with just him and Malacia at left back without a first choice left back who is reliable. The budget is there to spend on the midfield and Theo. United need ball progression through the defensive and middle third and Theo is one of the best in the world at that
That's just not how modern transfers work if you spend that all on defence you would still have problems in other parts of the pitch. Multiple windows are needed to fix squads liverpool and arsenal have proved that. Try the chelsea or man u way and look what happens.
Wan Bissaka is a great squad/tactical player, if he learns LB well we may have a great rotation option who won't leave us defensively weaker, I'd be extremely surprised if he wasn't given a new contract.
Yes but in that same game he’d be a liability in possession as he was against Liverpool. Can’t just keep a player in case the play Mbappe. He doesn’t have the versatility or technical ability needed
@@AtlantisFootball yehh we will need 2 midfielders then beacause we cannot use mainoo full season ,maybe we can do it if we sell mc tominay, eriksen, casemiro
@@AtlantisFootball & that's the problem , "This season" . You want to keep a player who is supposed to be uniteds best defender as you say yet when we look at how many goals that defense has conceded & how many shots we've faced at goal it's bafflling you still consider him a player worth keeping. I've seen a lot from Dalot to know he's a once in a while player on a good day just like Bruno. They all need to go
He's been used more during injury of AWB. Ultimately depends on the skillset the system needs. I see AWB having 10/10 defending and 6.5/10 in other areas. I see dalot as 6/10 in defending and 7/10 in others. so dalot is more all round but not a particularly skillful defender.
Hey Atlantis, you talk like a FlipFlop fan when it concerns our players. We are only about 6 players short, 2CB, DM, 2CM, RW & ST/10 from where we should be, as long as we get rid of at least 10 players .e.g. Greenwood, Sancho, Antony, Maguire, Lindelof, Bruno, VDB, Mount, Williams etc..& a new Manager. Then we can seriously challenge for league & champions league Next season!

On AWB...the arguement is weak. I can show you 8 similar mistake ( position awareness) --for Dalot. United should be looking to do an upgrade on Dalot.... not AWB
No it’s not weak at all. Dalot is far better positionally than AWB. You can’t have watched Dalot this season closely at all, he’s far better than AWB and you’d struggle to upgrade upon him.
@@AtlantisFootball I will forever be grateful if you can objectively look at the 37 goals United conceded in the EPL and identify errors related to people. It is not new that every team in the EPL simply attacks the right side of United's defense because Dalot is passive; he always lets the balls in. He looks good on the ball ( eye test)...but in reality...he is shit.
@@atikusamuel782 no he’s not 🤣🤣🤣 you clearly aren’t watching the games. Dalot has been fantastic this season, particularly defensively. Name the goals he is responsible for then? You’re just wrong on this, Dalot is one of the best FB’s in the league 🤣
@@AtlantisFootball it means that when it came to transfers Manchester united seems to always find a way to screw it all up right from saf days (hazard, sneijder, varane, benzema, ronaldinho are just some of the examples)
@@AtlantisFootball I do not disagree he's been good for us this season. But I don't rate him as a starter for a club like United. Simakan as you suggested, would be an upgrade. Maybe Frimpong as well
Your view on Casemiro is inaccurate. You are not taking into account that he's been injured for most of the season and forgot about the fact that he's a slow starter at the beginning of seasons. Thus he needs more games to get up to speed. We need to get rid of the players that can't play a more ball possession style and play a high line the top 3 in the EPL. This is problem not ETH. Instead, we have news that we're going to buy another right winger, who also has injury problems! The Sir Jim wants to make fans happy how about getting rid of the players that can't play that style. Wan-Bissaka isn't as bad as you make him sound. He is pretty good at holding onto the ball and his dribbling is above average but, he is another moody often injured player that is not got the right mentality for this club. Harry, Scott, Rash, Sancho, Martial need to GO! They are keeping this club from moving forward. Eriksen, Donny, Amrabat and whoever is on their last year needs to go. But we are still owned by the Glazers and have £1b in debt so we will keep these spoiled players.
It’s not inaccurate at all. Nothing to do with his injury. Did you watch him against Everton? He was absolutely terrible. The problem is 100% ETH. The problem is the press is completely disjointed and we can’t break down compact defensive units. Are you watching the full matches? Because to not believe Casemiro is declining is crazy
Ditch FBs, play 3 CBs , with the outside ones good enough to handle dribblers. Then play 2 DM, and 2 AM to create that box midfield. 2 wingers who could hold the width. The AMs should be able to underlap and overlap the wingers depending on the situation.
@@AtlantisFootball why? When attacking they have to play like midfielders or wingers. While defending they play like CBs. Finding players who can do these hybrid role in a world class level is so difficult. Instead just use one more CB and a midfielder. Cut the complexity. If you have a DM who can effectively slot in the CB position while you are getting attacked (which a lot of DM can do) then it's all good
@@geoemm because what if you need to change systems throughout a season? Also it’s better to have two attacking wing backs playing as wingers from a defensive point of view because United would still have to bring in two new wingers to play those roles
@@AtlantisFootball The change of system argument is understandable, but unless you play a 5 man defense, almost all the managers want the FBs to tuck in and act as a CB when you attack the opposite wing and the other FB either act as a winger or a Deep midfielder. Also you don't need to buy new wingers, you can still use rashford and gamacho. I think they would prefer to combine with a more technical AM then a FB
Shaw/Malacia on LB, Martinez/cucurella lcb, Varane/todibo/lindelof rcb, Dalot/AWB rb Cucurella could play LCB and LB. Closest thing We’ll get to luke Shaw atm and he is still somewhat young.
Theo Hernandez to move to man united come on be more realistic united can't afford him with the money milan will want and he won't want the move to a club like us
Dont bring ill disciplined players of a certain type to Utd,they dont have the discipline to succeed- Pogba,Greenwood,Sancho,Rashford,Lingaard,All these have very poor discipline

Theyd allow us to keep martinez as the central cb in the back 3 alongside a new right sided cb such as Todibo, Danso etc when in possesion with the dalot inverting or overlapping.
Another banger by this guy. I'll be watching for many years when your channel blows up.. content is great.
Thanks bro 🙏🏼 any other videos you’d like to see?
AWB is not just terrible as a team possession player but his defensive positioning is abysmal. He intentionally misposition himself so that he can get the perfect tackling opportunity. But when he doesn't find that opportunity he just backs off , thats why on the stats it may seem like no player has dribbled past him yet it's so inept for the team as a whole thus Ten Hag prefers Dalot whose side tackle might not be as good but his position is on point.
checks video, waits to see sell Rashford who actually does nothing, nope sell players who actually contribute
Was talking about the defence mate
@@AtlantisFootball you put Casemiro in there though, mufc we'll complain of Age whereas players like Giggs and Scholes played for us till they were like 36 plus Casemiro is an asset he's just in a team that's structured poorly and has to cover Mid and Defense and score goals
Right but what do Giggs and Scholes have to do with Casemiro? Casemiro has been declining game on game, he’s a liability in the midfield now
Nice analysis. However, considering Utd's needs elsewhere (eg up to 2 quality midfielders + a no.9 backup, at least), and FFP, how about Utd:
- Negotiate Varane's wages down for a 1 or 2 year extension,
- Likewise for Lindelof & Evans,
- Sell all the other defenders you list,
- Buy all you suggest, except Todibo.
Left fb: Theo/Shaw (Dalot/Malacia)
Left centre: Martinez/Shaw (Evans/Lindelof)
Right centre: Varane/Simakan (Kambwala)
Right fb: Dalot/Simakan
Use the £40-45m Todibo cash on mid.
todibo is definitely coming as our owners also own nice it would be an easy deal at a more than likely discounted price, if anything we should be spending smart so todibo and simakan should be our priorities as we definitely need at least 2 new center backs, and focus on the rest of the team as a priority. any cash/funds we have left should THEN go towards another RB or LB
I would keep dalot and awb. While playing against strong teams, I would play awb as rb and dalot as rm/rw. Rather I will sell Sancho and maguire for a decent centre back to pair with licha. I would sell donny and casemiro for a decent left back and I would sell martial, eriksen and malacia and add some bucks for a decent midfielder to pair with kobe and finally I would spend a decent amount for a young forward.
finally someone with sense
spending 45m on a RB when we don't need one is borderline insane when we have no fit left back lmao
The idea is brilliant, but Dalot has developed a lot at the IWB role and moving him to the wide CB role is not a good idea plus ,Dalot and Garnacho were starting to understand each other while his inverting ability helps in the build up . Always love the analysis 💯🔥🔥.
Thanks man 🙏🏼 anything specific you want me to discuss in the upcoming manager series?
Luke shaw have averaged 17 starts a season his entire United career. We need a LB 100% and we need to shift shaw
Tbf that is skewed because he had that bad injury at the start of his United career. But can’t be relied upon to be the starting LB
@@AtlantisFootball But that is evened out with last year when he hardly had an injury. But even w/o the broken leg, he's had 18 other injuries in his united career. That's like 2-3 a season on avg. if you discount the season were he broke his leg. Unreliable unfortunately.

I personally think we need 2 CBs if we're to start challenging for anything preferably tapsoba and inacio, those 2 have the composure, technical abilities and speed to help us play better from the back and control the game better..martinez seem to really be battling with the injury problems and lets be honest might never retain his top form again
tbf when Martinez came back in he looked 80-90% there so there’s no reason to assume he’ll never get back to top form
Fully agree. IWBs are not a must
Saying AWB isn't good on the ball is cap. He is one of our most press resistant players, he might look unorthodox but hes very effective at it

Not a united fan but found this interesting. What do you think about DiMarco from Inter as a LB option?
Not keen on Theo. Thats a win major shit now type of signing imo.
The question I ask myself is, do I see us winning a PL or UCL within 3 years? My answer would be probably not. Which would leave us in situation with a 30 year old full back on ridiculous wages.
I think the profile we need to be looking for is 23 year old or younger and ideally someone who's not had a massive contract yet.
Besides it would weird getting all this new structure at board level, finally getting a DoF, new scouts to do a Ed Woodward level signing.
Yeah we have to win major shit now. In 3 years he’ll still only be 30. That’s not that old
Right but if you sign someone younger than it may take them 3/4 years to get to Theo’s level
This not an Ed Woodward signing at all 🤣 this is an Omar Berrada Man City type of signing
Great video your calls are spot on🤝🏾
Whatever keeps me from seeing Lindelof at left back I’m behind😂
Imagine a defence with Todibo & Bremer for 40 & 55million pounds
95 millions for the best defensive duo.
No he's not the worst option at all. United need a left back and there aren't any alternatives who are capable of doing what Theo would do.
Inzhagi could probably keep AWB as a RCB, but I get your point.
Nah he’s not good enough in possession to play as a RCB
I think keep wan Bissaka and rotate when we want to play a different style
An interesting player that i think can be an alternative to Theo is Estupiñan from BHA, especially if RDZ taking the job at United.
Do a Casemiro replacement video
Great video!
Bro your editing Software?
No it’s not because he has one year left on his contract. You are just going to let him go on a free
@@AtlantisFootball offer him a new contract. He's currently on 90k a week. I don't think it would be crazy to offer him 120.
Would have a player on fairly big wages for the next 3/4 years
Theo Hernández, Dumfries, and Koopmeiners would be excellent. I hope they will also be able to sell Rashford and Antony. Bring back Greenwood!
We also need Left center back as cover for Licha.
Ideally we need 3 center backs if we are selling Varane
I will agree but if verane can take pay cut I keep him for another year , todibo might not hit the ground running , just like I said we shouldn’t have throw away David , nothing on onana we should have kept David for another year I’m sure does goals that knocked us out of champions league would have saved them . Lindelof instead of mags for me
tbh is time for us to forget about Fernandes.
COOL VIDEO❤ UNITED UNITED UNITED 0:16
Great video, after seeing this and a video about Simone Inzaghi. How they attack, interchange positions, defend, Inter is cooking this season, 69 goals and only 13 conceded. I hope, if Ten Hag goes, Inzaghi will be the next manager at United.
Dope video. I have some qualms though
- Why would Theo go to United from Milan at the moment (seems like a sideways/backwards move)? Stinks of those signings where a player only comes to us for a huge wage
- Personally, I would like to see United be more adventurous and bring in players we are not too familiar who then surprise us.

AwB can be remodeled to a right sided CB.
Frimpong for RB 💯
I agree but only if Toti gomes or Bassey are signed for LB to provide some physicality in the backline otherwise no because that back 4 would be too small.
The problem is united want to compete now. Without laying the groundwork and united fans are impatient. We need to take our time. And build slowing and gradually start competing at top level. Look at Chelsea they throw money at players and they are all over the place. Liverpool, arsenal and city have taken there time signing the right players not names. But players that fit a system they want to run.

Theo is the finished piece. I’d say 27 as a limit
Have u watched scalvini? I bet he would be a better varane and Maguire replacement, todibo would be a great back up for united not a starter.

He’s been terrible the whole season. He’s in decline.
An all French defense then… lool
Ditch FBs, play 3 CBs , with the outside ones good enough to handle dribblers. Then play 2 DM, and 2 AM to create that box midfield. 2 wingers who could hold the width. The AMs should be able to underlap and overlap the wingers depending on the situation.
Yeah but you still need full backs in the squad
Shaw/Malacia on LB, Martinez/cucurella lcb, Varane/todibo/lindelof rcb, Dalot/AWB rb
Cucurella could play LCB and LB. Closest thing We’ll get to luke Shaw atm and he is still somewhat young.
Theo Hernandez to move to man united come on be more realistic united can't afford him with the money milan will want and he won't want the move to a club like us
Dont bring ill disciplined players of a certain type to Utd,they dont have the discipline to succeed-
Pogba,Greenwood,Sancho,Rashford,Lingaard,All these have very poor discipline
Who’s ill disciplined?
Did you say Theo 😂
Yeah Theo Hernandez
